Purchased this on BF in medium for ~$40, it's a nice shirt if you need white dress shirts. Fit is tailored and TTS. Made in Romania from Italian fabric.
I ordered quite a bit of polyester poplin with the intention of making a 1940s day dress. Sadly, I don't love the hand feel - it's rough like broadcloth but with better drape. I'm unsure of what else I can make with 4.5 yards of fabric of synthetic poplin.
tried reverse search on taobao, mostly see female results for the long version of it.
I get my dad the cotton poplin field shirts (with the buttons on the shoulders) for basically every holiday. It’s all he wears. This year I found out they won’t be making them anymore according to the sales rep! Does anyone have anything comparable to them?
Hello!! Im new to sewing and am about to cut out the patterns - im wondering if cotton poplin is prone to shrinkage, and if should i wash it first? The fabric has pretty glitter on it and i just feel bad washing it.....
This awesome shirt needs to repped if not already.
I have an internship coming up in a warm weather area that will likely require that I be dressed formally 5 days each week. I'm from a much colder area, so my suits are all winter weight wool or tweed. I've been poking around on Bonobos and Brooks Brothers, but I don't super care about brand. I'm mostly looking for a charcoal or subdued/dark blue suit for daily office wear. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I am looking for some nice casual buttoned shirts on amazon with squares, lines and so on and I find pretty good results when I search gingham or poplin
problem is so much is out of stock right now, are there any similar types to gingham and poplin i can search that will give me similar style shirts?
