Pros and Cons of polyurethane concrete lifting compared to mudjacking?

Hopefully this is the right subreddit to ask. Where I live has pretty bad gumbo soil and my front driveway has settled quite a bit, so I am planning on lifting it a bit. Seems like one can either go with the traditional mudjacking or poly lifting. From some googling it seems poly is the more expensive but more permanent solution.

I am just curious if anyone has experience with poly lifting, and can tell me the cons of poly lifting? Aside from being more pricy compared to mudjacking, I don't see anything from Google. But being the skeptic, I would just like to make sure.

Ohh also, I am also planning on doing some grading around my house. Would it be better to grade it first then lift the driveway? Or vice versa?

TIA!

How to remove streaks from newly applied water based Polyurethane wood floor treatment?

So we recently tried to sand and refinish the wood floors in our house. We successfully sanded everything with some rented equipment. We wanted to retain the natural look of the wood, so we opted to use no stain and just finish the floors with a matte water based polyurethane. I love in the Netherlands, we used this: https://www.meubelproducten.nl/lakken/pu-lak-topcoat-waterbasis-mat/ Which we got on recommendation from a local cafe owner who had beautifully finished floors on her shop. Anyway, I applied one layer of it, and it seems I did a pretty shitty job as it is really non-uniform and there are clear brush marks, see: https://imgur.com/gallery/MQIRchZ

I tried Googling how to correct these mistakes, but I can’t find very good information on how to fix this. I am considering to use a handheld orbital sander with 180 grit sandpaper to polish out these mistakes, but when I do that it also makes much lighter coloured patches. Will these go away when I apply more PU? How do I fix it...?

Advice need for polyurethane

Ok big time beginner here. So I have a piece of wood I have been trying to finish with polyurethane. Everytime I go to apply a coat I get bubbles. No I am not shaking the can. And when I use 400 grit sandpaper paper to knock down the bubbles if I stay in a spot to long I'll take the stain off. I have sanded and restained 3 time now. Did I not do a good enough job cleaning the board after sanding? Did I miss a step? I have watched some videos on this and it looks pretty cut and dry. Right now as I type this out I'm watching the bubbles form. WTF!!!! Thanks in advance.

Will this work? Polyurethane on old pine

So, I started sanding my floors today. ( http://imgur.com/a/gBhsDum )Using a square orbital sander (I looked into drum sanders, but my floor is too uneven, and the floor isn't level I was worried that it would destroy the old pines). The floors are old, knotty pine, and had a layer of stain, and some sort of protective coating. (Yellowed and peeling off with age and wear) and we're difficult to sand down to bare wood with the odd rises and dips. I need to get on some points with a palm sander, and belt sander. But I was wondering if I could put a polyurethane over what I have done so far. I enjoy the rustic, weathered look of the half stripped pine, and my wife does as well. Will I run into any issues because it isn't sanded down to all bare wood with fresh stain? Will there be issues with the poly properly adhering?

Thanks in advance!

I am trying to cure epoxy over a polyurethane figurine, but I have a weird reaction - why is it happening?

The figurine is casted Polyurethane, and coloured with VALLEJO acryllic paints, the head is attached with UV resin (but I don't think that should be a problem?)

The walls are made out of acryllic sheets and glued with tape and glued with hotglue, same with the figurine it is glued in place with hot glue.

I can find out the epoxy chemicals if needed

Please note that there was barely any bubbles to start with

Here is the datasheet of epoxy:

Staining vs. tinted polyurethane

Forgive if this is obvious, but I'm not having luck asking the Google.

I'm refinishing a floor for the first time (gotta start somewhere I guess) and am frustrated with staining. When I apply the stain with a rag, it looks beautiful. Rich, lustrous color, hides those pesky imperfections sanding didn't quite manage to get out. As soon as I wipe the stain away, disappointment. I know I can't just leave it, though. Is there a product that will tint the floor that I don't have to wipe off? I've seen that Minwax makes a tinted polyurethane, and that sounds promising, but reviews on it are mixed.

Suggestions or solutions? "Just give up and hire pros" isn't an option right now.
