Made a new post since I found a few more that fit the bill. Basically I'm looking for a reaaaaalllly controllable tremolo.

I'd like to work out a trade+cash for one, but I may just buy if the price is right.

Hi guys! I'm looking for opinions and thoughts about the Copilot Fx Polypus tremolo pedal, or for recommendations about a tremolo pedal that can meet a number of desiderata I've got.

I'll give some background on my situation. The current tremolo pedal on my board is the EHX Super Pulsar. It does what I need it to and it sounds good, but I am looking for something to replace it for two reasons. Firstly, the Super Pulsar is a huge pedal and takes up a lot of space on the pedalboards; secondly, it has a lot of knobs and settings, several of which I don't use. It often leaves me tweaking endlessly in a way which I find slightly frustrating and uninspiring.

So here's what I NEED to have in a replacement pedal:

(1) The classical square and sine wave options. (This requirement is satisfied by most contenders.)

(2) A volume knob or setting to counteract the perceived loss of volume.

(3) A waveform option that emulates the Vox Repeat Percussion effect (see my username). I've never been quite sure what kind of wave this effect is, I THINK it might be a triangle wave, but I'm not sure..

(4) The pedal NEEDS to be at least somewhat smaller in form factor than the Super Pulsar, otherwise I guess I could just keep that one.

Here are some things that I would LIKE to have in a replacement, but which are negotiable:

(5) Tap tempo functionality.

(6) Expression pedal input.

(7) Stereo out functionality.

The Polypus ticks all of the above, except for 7 (as far as I can tell). Plus it looks rad, which is always a plus.

Are there any other good contenders? I'm thinking maybe the Seymour Duncan Shapeshifter, which I think satisfies all of (1)-(7), but which is bulkier than the Polypus (though still somewhat smaller than the Super Pulsar), and don't have the weird randomized waveforms that the Polypus does.

If anyone has any relevant experiences of the Polypus that they could share, or have any suggestions for a different tremolo that might fit my desiderata, I'm all ears!

I'm looking for a tremolo pedal, and I'd prefer it to have tap tempo. Most of the tremolos that have tap tempo are $250+, which is more than I'm willing to spend. The polypus is only $150, but I can't find many videos or reviews of it online. Does anyone here have any info on it? Other pedal recommendations are welcome too!

I've been taking Dupixent since November 2019 for nasal polypus. During that time I experienced some injection site redness that appears 3 days after the injection and takes about 7-8 weeks to go away. This has happened a few times, and I thought the medication itself was bad. So far this has happened 4 times - once with 2 injections from the same box, and twice with injections from different boxes. All of them were kept in the refrigerator, as needed taken out and used about 3-4 hours after they came to room temp, and rotated the injection into a different site each time (right thigh, left thigh, right abdomen, left abdomen). After the first two reactions from the same box, I would use one injection from one box and if I had another reaction I would open a brand new box and have no reaction. This made me think that the reactions were due to a bad batch.

Has anyone else experienced this? Can it be avoided? I don't know if it's the way I'm injecting it, and nothing I found seems to speed up the healing process. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Update: thank you everyone for your responses! I did the training with a dupixent my way nurse and my technique was good, I just wasn't keeping the needle all the way in. Once I did that I only had a small red spot that lasted for a few days. Hopefully this helps anyone who had a similar issue!

I started playing DND 5e after a friend of mine introduced me to this group 3 months ago (and I have to say this game is awesome, and the group is the best), the Dm introduced me to his world, their gods and etc. And I made my character, a fallen aasimar fighter named Grayson (but that’s not his real name, he only took that name after a fallen captain of a military force that he found, since he can’t remember anything after he “fell”). After taking the place of this captain, I escorted a cart full of corpses to the nearby city of Port Polypus, where I found the party, and I joined with the condition they would pay me 100k of gold one day. And so we went in adventures.

A lot of things happened in the middle, but I’m going to only tell the important things. We reached the metropolis of Terratopia, after we found out that Plaga and the Parasite devil were going to attack it in a couple of days. In those days before the invasion, we fought in the coliseum, and became the champions of the city, and I found out my character was in fact, the son of the barbarian, (who was a general of the god of death Vundall, who betrayed him, and captured my character as a child, and made him his soldier, but I somehow escaped). And my character got married to a elf girl called Carmine, so everything was going pretty well.

The invasion came, and we got in a flying ship to fight with a dragon, and after a few rounds, I knew that the party and the ship couldn’t hold their ground against the dragon, so, I took a corrupted hypogryf hearth, and when the dragon tried to bite the barb, I threw it in his mouth, (the description of the heart was that If a creature eats it, it would take it to a different plane of existence) and the Dragon banished, being teleported to the plane of Ternium, who took easy care of him.

After that, the party went to the crypt of the secrets, to learn how to defeat Plaga and the parasite devil. Only four of the party went in, me being the only melee and tank. In Basah, the kingdoms of classification are different than on Earth, though they have evolved in much the same manner. The Kingdoms are, in order of evolution:

- Prokaryota: Single-celled prokaryotes on Earth

- Eukaryota: Single-celled eukaryotes on Earth

- Limula: (Usually) slimy looking things made up of many single-celled organisms working together, though more independently than animals or plants on Earth - similar to a Portuguese man-of-war

- Sanguisugae: Creatures similar to both animals and plants but that cannot make their own food or even eat - they have to leech off of others for 100% of their nutrients

Many creatures from all kingdoms have evolved to use magic. Along with this, there are three genera of creatures that are sapient:

The Lightfoot Labs Goatkeeper v3 was and always will be one of my favourite pedals ever. I bought one in 2010 and used it a lot. Sadly I ended up having to sell it because it just didn't sound that good. The sequencer in the GK3 was awesome, but as an 'always-on' soft modulator, it sucked. I now have a Gravitas and it's ALMOST the best of both worlds. The ability to control everything is so cool and it has an amazing preamp. The "almost" bit is that I can't sequence the rate. I can 'only' (that makes me sound so spoilt) control it using the internal LFO or an expression pedal. I had a look around for an external device that could create a sequence of steps that would be accurately divided, but I couldn't find any. I know of the EHX 8-Step Program, but the sliders are not subdivided AFAIK. The rate of the tremolo would be whatever I set the sliders to in each step and not a subdivision of the original tempo. I also know of the ZVex Super Seek Trem and the Copilot FX Polypus Supreme, but neither are necessarily what I'm looking for. Any ideas?

Hive Fleet Polypus

Emerging after feasting on the biomass of an unmarked planetoid, Hive Fleet Polypus sports several unique bioengineered traits. First and foremost the teeth of the organisms hailing from Hive Fleet Polypus feature metal deposits similar to Terran crab claws and spider fangs. This makes their teeth that much more resilient and dangerous. This biological blueprint was taken from the massive crab like creatures littering the seabed of the unmarked planetoid. The second trait they took from these creatures is an incredibly efficient lattice-work structure found in their shells. When used by Polypus, the carapaces of the tyranids have become more lightweight without losing any structural integrity. Another stolen advantage is the stinging cells lining the tyranids blue bodies.
