Oh boy.
This ones controversial purely because of how many people seem to think Iron Boy Jr is the next best thing since sliced bread.
Iβm not here to discredit Tom Holland, I think heβs a great actor and is doing the best that he can, but I canβt ignore this.
Spider-Man is such a cool character right? Heβs someone who stands up for the little guy while also keeping New York safe, heβs a hero amongst us, he is at his core one of us. Heβs a voice for the voiceless and a symbol of hope. Why does the MCU not get this point at all?
Thereβs a few reasons. The most notable being the core member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe... Tony Stark. Letβs look at facts, Peter Parker is essentially an Iron Man fanboy in these movies. He constantly tries to make Stark happy with everything he does, the most notable of these being the suit. One of the things Iβve always loved about Spider-Man is the suit, Spider-Man PS4 understood this by showing that Peter had suits that were important and that defined an era, and most of these suits are created by Peter or other Spider-Men for their own use. So why has Peter only made 1 real suit in the entire time heβs been Spider-Man. Yes Iβm aware he makes a suit in Far From Home, but itβs not really his design if weβre honest about it. Homecoming makes it very clear that Peter didnβt know he was getting a new suit, so from the start of that movie to the end of Far From Home he uses Stark designs to make suits (minus the homemade which was already made long before Civil War). Peter barely has his own spark because heβs too busy living up to the expectation of being the next Iron Man. If the message of these films is to say that Peter shouldnβt be the next Iron Man, theyβre doing it very wrong. Take the Happy scene from Far From Home. Happy says to Peter βdonβt be Starkβ and Peter agrees, arc over right? Message received? Nope because 5 seconds later Peter is listening to the same music as his idol, implying the complete polar opposite. Side note to also point out that Peters βvillainsβ arenβt even really his as theyβre all motivated because of Stark.
Next thing: Uncle Ben. Now yes weβve seen Ben die so many times to the point that itβs nauseating, but arguably the most important person in Peters life has been swept under the rug as if he never happened. Did Peter even get told the famous quote of βwith great power, comes great responsibilityβ? We donβt know, because as far as we can tell neither Peter nor even Aunt May seem to c
... keep reading on reddit β‘So I just spent the last two and a half months working for a company as seasonal labor. Customer service during the busy time of the year. Over the past couple months all 13 people who were hired as seasonal have been told that 3 full-time positions would be given out to those with the best performance.
Now that the the date for our temporary position is two days away they have sent emails to people informing them of whether or not they received a position. the email stated that there was only a limited number of full-time positions and unfortunately you were not the one chosen.. As if they thought we would not talk amongst ourselves we found out that all 13 people were told the same thing.
In other words there were no full-time positions.
One person in our group was the smart one. When they got hired on they asked to see details of pay, benefits and the likely schedule of the potential full-time position. The job recruiter could not provide this at all. She said that they dodged this question multiple times and she knew right then and there that there would be no full-time positions given to anyone. Because the position did not exist.
So from now on when I get hired on a temporary basis with an expectation that it can lead to a full-time position I will be asking for the details of that potential job and you should too.
Previous record was 47 points, Golden State Warriorsβ 88-41 lead against Sacramento Kings in 1991-92 NBA season.

Why YSK: People often ridicule the grammatical or other mistakes in peopleβs English to invalidate their point. Chances are they noticed it too and simply donβt care. Their point still stands stall if itβs coherent enough, anyone going out of the way to comment on their mistake is either losing the argument or are too immature to engage in one.
Itβs very common in the Indian subcontinent.
Edit: About time I made an edit to have my final say and leave. I personally love English and it's not even my mother tongue. It is, for me, the most beautiful language ever and I want to be as good at it as I can. I made this post because a lot of non-native speakers out there are ridiculed everyday for bad, incorrect English. While it is important to speak the language you're speaking as correctly as possible, for some it may not matter so much because they don't need it anywhere in their life. Also, one should always look for when is one helpfully correcting your mistakes so you may learn and appreciate them. Enough preaching. Over and out.
> Porter, 20, who has not played this season due to personal issues, grew angry when he entered the locker room and realized the team gave his old locker to Taurean Prince, who was acquired in a blockbuster trade Wednesday.
> Sources said Porter, whose locker was moved to the wall where the younger, end-of-bench players reside, began yelling and at one point threw food.
> Sources said general manager Koby Altman came into the locker room and confronted Porter, and the player remained combative with his boss. The Cavs spent the weekend trying to trade him.
> Coach J.B. Bickerstaff heard the commotion in the locker room from his office and came in, shocked and disgusted by what he heard.
Curry finished the game with 5 rebounds and 4 assists as well.
It was refreshing to see Steph back in form. His energy is unlike anyone else's in the league that we've ever seen.
Unfortunately it seems like this is what the Warriors will need every night in order to win a significant number of games. Wish Klay was healthy to see what they could do together.
This is posted here because many people get offended by this question. I genuinely donβt understand the point of gender reveal parties.
1.) what are the point of gender reveal parties? Is it just another βlook at meβ type party? Before Covid, I was invited to one but I donβt care what genitalia the baby has. I declined.
2.) when did they become a βthingβ? Growing up in the late 80s early 90s I never heard of such parties happening. In the past few years I hear of them being all over.
Reddit stop the meaningless insults n shit.
I've always cleaned as I cook so that when it gets to the end of the meal, there's minimal mess. My husband is the opposite. When he cooks, it's like a bomb went off. I've encouraged him to clean as he cooks, and if we're doing a big meal/holiday meal together I often make sure to assign him that role.
Like most people, one of us cooks, the other one cleans up. I am the better cook, so I cook like 80% of the time. He gets an easy cleanup.
I'm busier than usual at work, so he's had to step up. Whenever he's done, the kitchen is a mess. I don't even get how it happens, there will be oil splatters untouched, stuff drying to dishes, peels and meat. I'm not about to let food sit out overnight so after I'm done eating I'll start the process and won't get to really relax much.
Last week I asked if he could please try cleaning as he cooks. He told me "the rule is one person cooks, the other person cleans." I said "I get that but you're leaving me with a huge mess every night."
He said "I just don't have the time to clean up when I'm focused on cooking" knowing full well I'll see him scrolling on his phone.
I just got so fed up, so on Sunday I made a big pot of chili. I didn't clean up as I worked, when I was done, I served him, sat down, enjoyed a beer and dinner.
When he finally went into the kitchen, he said "What the fuck? Why is there such a mess?"
I said that I was too busy paying attention to the chili to clean up. I started to get ready for bed. He was like, "Uhh you're just going to leave this here?" and I said yes. He said he would have to wake up extra early to clean up and that he had to be at work earlier than usual and was supposed to play a game with his friends later that night, so could I just clean up.
I said no, I cooked, so he has to clean.
Two days later he's still pissy with me because he ended up not being able game and told me that he didn't get enough sleep and was exhausted at work (not to be TOO snarky, but it's not like he's a surgeon) because I had to "prove a point" to him. I told him that nothing else seemed to get his attention, and I feel pretty justified. He told me I was being a smug asshole about it and it was childish.
AITA? Or is he?
EDIT: A couple of people asked how we can make so many dishes, it should take 15 minutes, etc. We don't have a dishwasher (there's no room for one), so everything has to be done by hand. Additionally, "doing the dishes" means cleaning up the counters and stovetop and sweeping the flo

My daughter had a spelling test which included some holiday words for extra credit. One of the words was "Chanukah". My daughter spelled it the way I just did, but the teacher marked it wrong and corrected it to "Hanukkah". She said to my daughter "you're Jewish and you don't know how to spell Hanukkah?" I think she meant it jokingly but my daughter was annoyed. My daughter told the teacher that Chanukah is correct, but the teacher didn't believe her.
I told the teacher that Chanukah was also correct and that my daughter should get the point, and the teacher argued with me, saying that Hanukkah is more correct because it's more commonly used than Chanukah. I said if any spelling is more correct it would be Chanukah because the Ch represents the sound from the back of the throat you're supposed to make.
The teacher agreed to correct the test but seemed really sour about it and said she was just trying to be inclusive. I said I appreciate that but she should keep in mind that if the word isn't in English that there might be multiple acceptable spellings for it and that they should all be given credit.
My husband says I overreacted. Honestly I probably wouldn't have bothered so much if the word was something else, but I resented the teacher, who isn't Jewish, arguing with me and my daughter about how to spell our own holiday.
