I received a small mother of thousands plant the other day as a gift, it is doing well so far but the plantlets along its leaves are already starting to grow roots? Should I pull them off and replant or will the plant drop/root them itself?
I'm DISO of blackwater, leaf peat preferential Cryptocorynes, especially those from Sumatra and peninsular Malaysia for a semiaquatic Sumatran biotope. Examples are:
C. Cordata var Cordata
C. Nurii var Nurii
Also pieces of Schismatoglottis Roseospatha.
There were shops for me to import prior to pandemic, but now, not so much and many stores I looked to in the past are now dead links. If anyone has plantlets or even full plants that they are willing to sell, submersed or emergent grown, please let me know, I will gladly pay to have them shipped to the West Coast of the US.
I potted up the plantlets and just have an empty stem now. Can more grow on that stem? Will it grow more stems if conditions are right?
