Travelling to Russia from Florida NO PLANE (Strangers in Eindhoven , Thank you)
I took it upon myself 6 months ago to make a trip from Florida to Russia without the use of a plane. It was the riskiest thing I have ever done in my life. I took a bus from Florida to New York. From there I took the Queen Mary 2 to Britain. From Britain I took the high speed train to Belgium. I had planned ahead and booked about 4 more trains from Belgium to Warsaw, Ukraine, then to Russia. With that being said it was a nightmare. I had overestimated my luggage considering i was carrying a large suitcase, a backpack, and a guitar in a case. My hands were full but that wasn't the worst part. The trains i booked were not one way. They were all public trains with dozens of stops in between. I didnt realize until i got to Belgium that I wouldn't be going to sleep the ENTIRE trip to Russia.
The trains from Belgium to Germany were some of the most stressful situations I've ever experienced in my life. Every single time I got off and on another train I had just 10 mins most of the time to

Is there any amount of turbulence which could bring a plane down?
I've heard plenty of times that this is not actually possible, but I'm wondering if it could theoretically happen.
And no, I'm not asking this because I have a fear of flying. I don't need to be reassured about anything.

An Indian and two Pakistanis sat on a Plane.
An Indian got a seat between two Pakistanis on a plane. Relaxing, he took his shoes off.
Soon enough, he got hungry.
"Hey, I'm going to get myself a snack. You guys want anything?" He asked the Pakistanis.
The man to his right said he would like a Coke.
"Of course." said the Indian.
"After all, Indians and Pakistanis are Brothers!"
When the Indian went to get the coke, the man who asked for the Coke spit in one of his shoes.
Once the Indian came back, the guy to his left asked him for another Coke. He happily obliged. While he was gone, the man spit in his other shoe.
Soon enough, the Indian returned, with the Coke, of course. After everyone had settled down, and the Pakistanis had had half their Cokes, the Indian put his legs in his shoes and sighed.
"How long will we keep doing this, brothers? Spitting in each others shoes, pissing in each others Cokes?"

Amazon has a rare opportunity to snatch up cheap planes and take on FedEx
Now could be the best time for Amazon (AMZN) to dramatically increase the size of its air fleet. That’s according to Bank of America analyst Justin Post, who sees the depressed price of aircraft, coupled with the massive increase in demand for delivery services spurred by the coronavirus pandemic, as a golden opportunity for the ecommerce giant to pump cash into its Amazon Air division.
And while that would help Amazon increase its one-day shipping capabilities, it could also give it the firepower it needs to solidify its nascent third-party delivery business as a true competitor to the likes of FedEx (FDX) and UPS (UPS).

Why do you lose consciousness in a rapid depressurization of a plane in seconds, if you can hold your breath for longer?
I've often heard that in a rapid depressurization of an aircraft cabin, you will lose consciousness within a couple of seconds due to the lack of oxygen, and that's why you need to put your oxygen mask on first and immediately before helping others. But if I can hold my breath for a minute, would I still pass out within seconds?

Random mom on the plane demands that I open her canned coca cola
So, this was years ago. I was probably 4-5 years old, very young. And a thing that my mom did during every summer vacation is send me to my home country to stay with my relatives and then catch up a few weeks later. Because my mom can't supervise me when she's still in the country while I'm on the plane, she'd get someone to assist me during my journey. I was on a flight from Italy to North Africa.
Here's where the story starts:
So I'm sitting on the plane playing on my iPad. EM and her baby/toddler (1-2 years old??) walk over and sit next to me. I don't think anything of it and mind my business, and she does the same for a few hours.
The flight attendant had served us food about 30 minutes ago, and I was completely stuffed. EM was done with her food and only had an unopened coca cola can left. She then shoves the coca cola can in my face.
I give her a confused look until I see the coca cola can.
Me: But I don't know how to open.
Due to my young age, I didn't know how
