Not sure if I'm in the minority, but I don't feel like I get legit aim practice with this game mode right now. People always know where you are even on bigger maps like ascent and bind.
I would like to see the radar pings only show up for people who are camping or standing still for maybe more than 3 seconds.
Use this post to discuss whatever you want! Future dream casts, trying your stand up career, crying shenanigans about this season's robbed cinnamon bun... it all goes here. Just remember to be civil and keep opinions here and not in the speculation threads. Thank you!

First, Have nice conversations. We will NOT allow these threads to be a hotbed of user drama and uncivil behavior. Therefore, user pinging and targeted discussion of satelitte subs that don't have to do directly with the show are not allowed. We have noticed that people... keep reading on reddit ➡
> hey @Cloud9 we are G2 esports gaming club, a middle of the pack team playing in europe. would you be interested in scrims after carefully watching LCS games we feel very confident that we could offer good practice, even high ping simulating NA reaction times. gib scrims pls
C9 responds with:
> Hey Fabian, Please message our Manager, @C9Vincent, to book scrims. We would love to see have good practice, whether in high ping or not. The team is already excited about the idea. Best, C9
Honestly, I think this can be very very good for C9, but may cause them to to soar above the competition in NA even more so than they are now. However, this could also set some sort of precedent for NA teams to get better practice in the future.

How many times have you been in a no-voice Fireteam and wanted to point out a secret chest or enemy? How about Sherpa-ing or showing a new player a jumping puzzle?
Crucible when you have an enemy flanking? Ping
Priority target in a Dungeon/Raid Encounter? Ping
Jumping route to a chest? Ping
5-10 second internal CD to prevent spamming. Color coded to player emblem (not the greatest way, but outside of matching emblems doesn't seem so bad imo)
Edit: some comments I've been reading seem to think the Ping system would disable voice & text chat/emotes/shoot-guiding? These things are not mutually exclusive. It would help with communication, and would/could be used in tandem with them.
Have been a top main since Season 3 peaking at Plat II, I decided this season to switch to mid because there are a lot of fun champions that only work in that lane that I wanted to try out. But there are some HUGE differences in the 2.
Due to these things, a... keep reading on reddit ➡
Apparently the DMV Servers are down/trash at the moment, and Texas servers have less ping than it, so VALORANT auto-selects Texas servers for you to play on.
Northern VA Servers: 110ms ping
Texas Servers: 60ms ping
2nd Edit: Its apparently something with Verizon Fios and Riot Games servers not actually the servers. So, if you have Fios, you are fucked until they do something.
I am not a participant in the Starlink Beta in any way. I just found the result on speedtest.net. Thats all
I don't have a TL:DR version of this.
First off, yes, I know, there are people out there who are using the comm and ping system to annoy people on purpose, and I'm annoyed by it, too, as I use it when necessary. Second, lets be real, there are also legitimately deaf people playing the game, but I think the bigger concern as far as I've been told about deaf players is about them giving comms to people who aren't deaf rather than people who aren't deaf relaying comms to them, though I could be wrong about this, but my main focus is more on giving comms, and also I do not want to leave out the selectively mute players, as they may just want to relay comms but have their own personal reasons for not using their voice and would want a better way of relaying comms. Third, I've been physically mute for several years now... I am not comfortable sharing the details as to how I became physically mute and I hate recalling it because it brings back bad memories, so all I can say is that there wer... keep reading on reddit ➡
Hello, any east coast (DC, Maryland, and/or Virginia) players, with Verizon fios, experiencing high ping around 100+ ms? I'm currently getting around 100+ms starting last week but before, I usually average around 15-20ms ping. Just wondering if I'm the only one experiencing this problem.
Edit: ping issue has been fixed according to u/RiotKorensky
Thoughts? I think the game will be more skillful honesty and we will see more cracked kids in competitive.
Backstory: My family belongs to a swim club in our town. They have 2 ping pong tables. During a normal summer, the club would lend you paddles and balls on a day to day first come first serve basis as long as you return them by the end of the day. This summer due to the safety measures, you could bring your own equipment, or buy 2 paddles and a ball from the club for $15. That is what me (15M) and my brother (13M) did.
Cast ME=me K=Brother EK1=10M ish EK2=7M ish EM= 40F ish KW=Kind worker
Onto the story. Queue me and my brother playing ping pong earlier
EK1-We want to play. Give us a turn
ME-Oh, there's a table empty right over there. you can play there
EK1-We want to play here
K-OP Let's just move to the other table
(We relocate and go back to ping pong)
5 minutes later
EK1 and EK2-(Approach us)
EK2-Can we have those (points to paddles we're playing with)
ME-No, sorry there ours and we're playing. You can buy them from the snack stand... keep reading on reddit ➡
Seems pretty obvious too me in a tac shooter where milliseconds count every single time. Just had an Omen with 450 ping in my team, 0-15 stats but no afk so it not only was a 4vs5 game, we also had no eco advantage, no ulti orb and enemies had a free 200 credits kill every single round since round 1.
Just matchmade everyone with ping above 100 with other of same ping? That way it's fair for them and fair for everyone else who has low ping.
Many users are reporting ping spikes or sustained high ping and we're aware of this but we need some help tracking down the cause. For anyone who experiences a considerable amount of latency issues could you answer some questions:
What is your average ping
How far is your nearest server region
Does it only spike when you're shooting
Does your ping change depending on how many users are connected (test in private lobby vs public)
Any other info that may be helpful
For additional help you can post your results from here: http://ping-test.net/ (select your region)
Please do not post unrelated bugs or discussions here. Thank you
This is so frustrating. I was playing ranked and someone pinged a mobile respawn beacon. I called dibs since it’s handy when i can pick up banners with my drone and all. Someone else from the squad took it. Later in the game i’m running around with both banners in hand, alone far away from other squads and nowhere near a respawn beacon.
Are there any good reasons someone else should have the beacon if yoi have crypto in the squad? Am i missing something?
This may sound super obvious, but so many junglers in my elo gank without informing their teammates. Especially in lower elos, so many laners don't notice their jungler and when they come to gank without pinging, they won't even react. Pinging is obviously something really simple but it goes a long way, since many people especially in lower elos play with locked screen and don't see their jungler coming.
TL;DR: Ping "On My way!" as a jungler to notify your teammates that you are ganking.
See the title. Paris is unique in that they barely play Brig in the double shield Genji + Ashe comp, they mostly play Bap Zen, with fielder on Zen. It's super impressive given their success and shows just how much trust they have in fielder.
