WELCOME!

Hi all, hope you will see new possibilities here. Links are underneath! Hoping to bring an alternative perspective on LENR to the forfront that lines up with the fundemental laws of thermodynamics and relativity. Shrunken electron orbits of single electron atom isotopes, also picoscale bonds of a metal core and hydrogen isotopes, along with H with each other seem to be a new emerging category of reactions. Most interestingly picoscale hydrides using the core electrons of certain metals seem to be possible within the standard model and have experimental backing when viewed from the right angle. Dr Randal Mills and Dr Jacques Dufour have proposed novel and amazing exothermic hydrogen reactions all depending on the higher stabler energy level of core electron orbits. ~0.5keV to ~100keV per reaction leaping over the order of magnitude of regular combustion [H2 + O = H2O + 1.8eV].

Pico-hydrides of transition metals seem able to fall within the realms of the standard model with known physics and chemistry. Picoscale gravitational/strong forces between nuclei/protons could be strong enough to stabilise deep strong chemical bonds. This could include hydrogen with hydrogen!

The Four Visceral Arts: Blood, Bone, Muscle, Skin [Y.O.S.A.B]

On Cedkh, alchemy comes in the form of archaic and crude nanotechnology.

Prior to the Fall of Man, the desert planet was covered in oceans rich with life. With the oceans now gone, strange artifacts (of neither Fleshbender nor Star Culture manufacture) have been discovered by the peoples who today reside in the arid wastelands that were once the sea floor. These "Proto-Cedkhans" were likely exterminated by the Star Culture when humans first colonized Cedkh 52.5 million years ago, and all that remains of their civilization are their artifacts - the Proto-Cedkhans themselves had bodies too soft for fossilization, and little remains of their stone and coral cities.

Said artifacts are composed of exotic nanomaterials, and are highly prized for their alchemical applications. Shards of Proto-Cedkhan artifacts are ground to a fine powder, and then exposed to various chemicals. Depending on both the type of nanomaterial and the chemical brew they are exposed to, these fine grains will reconfigure themselves into a specific range of nanoscale and picoscale robots, which then form cultures resembling slime molds. These are known as chrnun.

Chrnun are used for many different sorts of high-end technologies on Cedkh, from pseudo-organic solar panels, to vibrating sword and axe blades with self-sharpening, molecule-thin edges.

And then there are the Four Visceral Arts. These are chrnun - known as usdesnun - which are intended to be devoured by prospective hosts, in order to be granted strange and formidable powers, but with a price.

All four - Krodmonouke, Suyekun, Otoalzan, Velihonakha - have the same process of acquisition. One devours the usdesnun, typically as part of a mystical ritual, under the influence of psychoactive substances. The nanobots and picobots slide or dig into the flesh of the mouth, tongue and throat, integrating themselves into the body, causing the prospective host to bleed from their mouth. The nanites make their way to the brain, where they trigger a coma. In this coma, the host enters a simulation, which they must complete - a dream-like quest that will test their mental, physical and spiritual fortitude. If they complete the simulation/dream-quest, the Zeroth Gate will be opened, completing synchronization between the symbiotic usdesnun and its host.

Each usdesnun has six other "Gates", which are actually manual safety overrides for the nanites. They can be toggled through intense training and meditation, to unl
