I've been an ED nurse for 2 years and I just transferred to a new hospital 2 months ago. They do 3 months orientation for transfers. My preceptor just gave me a hard time for not wearing gloves to push a med. I'm just curious if this is standard? Obviously I wear them to pull blood or start lines, or when using a central. I can't seem to find anything consistent on this.
Edit: A lot of you seem to confuse standard precautions. Standard precautions only includes hand hygiene for all patient encounters. Which I do. Any other ppe is on a situational basis.
During the LAN tournament, Do the pros get to choose the pc, monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, mousepad that they play on? Or is it all provided by Riot themselves and they are all asked to play with those?
P. S : Not regarding peripherals, will the teams be scrimming with each other before the tournament?
I suddenly started to see shadows moving around, although not too often at night (around 12-4am), from my peripheral vision and they disappear when i tried to look at them directly.
They also seem far too large than what any mouse or rat's shadow, and never got this same shadow when i had a pest rat in my house in the past, Never saw those shadows in all of my life too.
Sometimes those shadows seem to hover over me (I feel a presence hovering over me) while I am at my computer at night, and saw some reflection of a shadow hovering over me on my glass cabinet. I also get chills and the feeling of complete dread when this happens.
And my mother who lives with me also had the same experience once, around when it started happening to me.
Also, I started to get the sensation of a person touching me (again, only around late night), a few months back, like pressing on my shoulders or light shoving, although rarely, and I have considered more scientific reasons for what's happening but I couldn't find any that relates to me, since im in a healthy mental and physical state.
So is there a way to stop this, or at least if i really am being approached by a paranormal entity, to communicate with it?
PS; The only paranormal thing I did was attempting to summon a succubi, many months ago, but havent got any sign that i have succeeded at the ritual.
I have a mouse keyboard and monitor already just need to build the actual pc

Love the atmosphere and aesthetic of the album. Want to explore similar songs and artists. Any suggestions?
My favorite songs were:
Dizzy on the Comedown,
But the rest of the album was also so amazing.
Cheap af mechanical keyboards. Don't know anything about the quality, but the reviews are good. Probably shit battery life, but 3150mAh for those of you who are not replacing it with something more worthwhile.
Switches: cherry mx rgb and not, blue, reds (not silent), black, brown (tea as translate calls it)Detachable frame (so you can paint that shit black color)
Haven't GP'd, but check reviews
Have bought, waiting for arrival, check reviews on tao for customer pictures
I'm curious about that, because I'm gonna play on pc, and I'll probably use my Xbox one controller. but I'm in doubt if I use a keyboard and mouse. What do you prefer to use in a game like this?
Hi everyone, I am the founder of Permastunned Gaming. We are an esports clan by people with disabilities, for people with disabilities. We compete across almost all esports genres and have a complete CS:GO roster. Sorry in advanced for this rant.
There is a lot of talk here about cracking down on cheaters and, while we agree, we urge caution. Many people with disabilities rely on special controllers, joysticks and even software. Adaptive technology, which wouldn't give anyone, disabled or not, an advantage. However, allows us to simply play the game.
The problem is that many anti-cheat software doesn't take adaptive technology into account and that has been a thorn in my eye for a long time now. We contacted FACEIT about this and even tried our luck with Valorant. No reply from Valorant and FACEIT said that they won't change "because controllers can be exploited for cheats".
In a way, I understand this, however, it leaves many people with disabilities stranded. How do we progress naturally into esports if online leagues are inaccessible? This is a struggle we face in many games, not just CS:GO and maybe there is no satisfying solution. However, from what I can tell, no due diligence is done to accommodate people with disabilities and that I find unacceptable.
This industry needs to do better, otherwise we are left behind.

I am working from home and want to finalize a home office setup. I wish to keep my work computer and personal computer seperate but would like to start easily sharing my nice keyboards and monitors. I know this thing has to exist but i dont know what its called.
I'm looking to transition to Wireless Peripherals in order to help de-clutter my desk. Just want to ask if anyone can share inputs or experiences regarding possible interference issues since most Wireless Peripherals use a USB Dongle operating in the 2.4 GHz band.
For context I'm looking at Tecware's B68 & Pulse for the KB & mouse and the HyperX Stinger Core Wireless for the headset. My current rig already makes use of a BT Dongle (for my controller) and a Wi-Fi stick (both from TP-Link).
Thank you in advance for your inputs and tips.
Looking for honest opinions from injection molders for reliable thermolators, and driers. Have a lot of Conair but every piece of equipment has had some sort of issues. What do you use and why?
Yes, I know this has been discussed to death in this subreddit, I'm sure it'll annoy some more advance practicioners to see this once again, but it's been bothering me that the instructions are either metaphors, analogies, or just a "don't worry about it" Truth is it barely helps, I'm sure it's because it's a discrete and hard to put into words experience, but I would like confirmation on my experience: Is it a state where you're relaxing into the "here and now"? Like loosening the grip of the mind, where nothing is put into focus? Can it be compared to the term "Sati"?
I feel I can either experience that, or attention on the breath.. Not the two at once!
