Estimated earnings call on 12/14. 4 week quiet period means announcement before or on 11/16 or not until after earnings call.

There is a 4 week (28 day) lockout period before earnings are released. During this timeframe, companies cant make announcements.

https://www.investopedia.com/terms/l/lockup-period.asp

>With publicly-traded companies, the quiet period is a reference to the four weeks before the end of the business quarter.

That means gamestop couldn't announce their nft market place during this timeframe.

Nasdaq estimates earnings will be released 12/14 based on previous releases.

https://www.nasdaq.com/market-activity/stocks/gme/earnings

If we subtract 28 days from 12/14, we land on 11/16 as the last day an announcement can be made until after earnings call.

If we get the announcement during Q4, we will therefore get it on or before 11/16 or after their earnings call sometime before end of year.

Edit: found this also:

https://www.investor.jnj.com/guidelines.cfm

>1. Quiet Period β€” The period beginning on the quarter-end date and ending at the time of the earnings release for that quarter should be observed as a quiet period with no formal or informal business discussions by management with analysts or investors. However, answers to fact-based questions may be answered via email by investor relations personnel to analysts and investors upon request. Exceptions may occur at the Company's discretion based on need to discuss breaking news or otherwise.

this would imply that the quiet period is from end of quarter till earnings are announced. This would mean announcement this week (before November) or not until after 12/14. I also think this is why they posted the Job positions this week. Can a job posting be considered news/etc? if they didn't post them this week, they would have to potentially wait until after earnings.

Rant: me scheduling every IEP on someone else's plan period means that my classes are interrupted at least every other week for multiple hours at a time so that other staff don't have to have their classes require a sub for an hour every once in a great while.

I just don't see how that is equitable. There is no meeting room, the IEPs are held in my classroom while it is empty. Doing it on my plan gives us a natural ending point for overly needy parents. "Oh, there's the bell, I have students who need to come in, we will have to schedule another meeting date if you feel we haven't covered everything."

I've asked for subs for IEP meetings, I get told to pull a para down, so that's a para that isn't providing support in a gen ed class where the teacher is likely counting on having that assistance. Those are services that didn't get provided.

I've tried to do it right after school, but the admin is also the activities person, so they can't do it and no teachers are willing to stay half an hour past contract time.

I just don't see how always messing with my classes is any more fair than always putting it on someone else's plan period. If I had a solution, I'd use it.

Does my premature period mean my cycle is off? Will I ovulate early?

Okay so I take a hormonal oral birth control that allows me to delay my periods. I typically will have my period every other month instead of every month as a result of skipping my week of placebo pills in the first pack. According to my doctor this is safe and Ive been enjoying it for over a year now.

Cut to this month: I was halfway through my second pack of pills (meaning I would take the placebos at the end of this pack to allow my period) when suddenly, my period starts? At first I thought it was spotting, but it got heavy enough to be considered a full period for a few days. But, not only did it come like 15 days early, it also has continued slowly for about 2 weeks now. For about 3 days it was spotting, then 4 days of full-blown period, and since then its been a slow and steady trickle of spotting. Bizarre. Anyways my pill pack is now empty and my period would normally be starting in about 3 days once I stop my pills.

My question is this: is my whole cycle off? Doc said in the past that during the week of my placebo pills it should be safe for me to have sex and not be at any greater risk of pregnancy as long as I continue the nonplacebo pills within 7 days of stopping them. Does this change if my period was so early? Will I be ovulating this week as a result? Should I avoid having sex until I'm sure its passed and Im back on the nonplacebos? Please help I am very anxious

Silly question - does my period mean I'm not pregnant?

This is probably just me being overly paranoid, but when we use hormonal birth control like the nuvaring, does it mean we aren't pregnant if we get our period? I know that bleeding during the off week isn't technically a period--it's just the withdrawal bleeding--so does that mean I could bleed and still be pregnant? Just wanting to know if I can use my period as a way to make sure I'm not pregnant

Does little to no period mean that I’m not shedding my lining?

Hi PCOS family,

My periods for the past 6 months have been very light (lasting 3 days, and not enough blood in a day to fill one pad) and irregular, occurring late or too early at times. Since I’m not shedding too much blood, does that mean that my body isn’t shedding all of the blood in my uterine lining and it’s staying in there, or does it mean that I’m not making a thick enough lining at all?

If it’s true that I’m not shedding it all, what are the potential risks of this?

P.S. Happy Easter! Thankful for this community that is full of nothing but love and support.

"Getting your period means you're ready to get pregnant."

During breakfast this morning, I live next to my grandparents, we ended up discussing about teen pregnancy for some reason, and my grandpa said the most baffling thing I've ever heard him say. He claimed that a woman should get pregnant after she's had her first period, since her body has shown that it can handle pregnancy. Even if she is only 14, or 11 years old (which is when I got my first period). Apparently this is what he was taught when he when he was in school, around 60 years ago.

I'm grateful for the fact that education has made some progress on this topic, since I can't fathom being taught things like that.

What exactly does "pay you through your notice period" mean in terms of redundancy?

There's a 101% chance I'm getting made redundant next week and I want to make sure I go into the consultation knowing exactly what my rights are.

I'm on the gov.uk site and I'm just trying to understand what the above means. If I've worked there for over three years so my notice period is three weeks, does that mean I'd get statutory redundancy pay + what I'd normally earn for that time?

Likewise, if the date that I would usually get paid on falls in the notice period - let's say the last Friday of the month - does that matter or is it kind of moot at this point?

Question: What did American soldiers look like in the interwar period (meaning from around 1920 to 1939)?

Title says all, mostly. From seeing historical footage (and movies, and so on) I have a pretty good idea of what American "Doughboys" looked like in World War One, and I think I would be hard pressed to find anyone that doesn't recognize the typical American soldier in WWII. However, I'm not really sure what the American military looked like, especially during the Great Depression. A couple of days ago I watched a documentary for my history class that covered the years from 1929 to 1936 and I noticed a couple of seconds of footage depicting American soldiers and what I swear was a FT-17 Light Tank (my Battlefield 1 experiences don't lie). However, beyond a couple of seconds of blurry black and white footage I couldn't really find anything, be it description or image. I'm a huge military history nerd so I'd totally appreciate any response!

TL;DR - What changes, if any, did the American military see to its uniform/gear/weaponry/armored support after WWI but before the outbreak of WWII?

If anyone's wondering, here's the documentary. Jump to around 2:00 minutes in to see some cavalry (I think), and 2:10 to see the tank.

EDIT: Added TL;DR.
