Joelβs quotes are so funny lol. Heβs a great perimeter defender, but Iβm not sure Iβd qualify him as the best among big men, thatβs probably Bam. What do you guys think, where would you rank Embiid?

Update: Suspects shot at cops at 16th and Russ (just south of football field), cops shot back. Chase started in National City Ocean Beach with National City PD included. Cops are on Park Blvd with a command post in front of McDonalds, SWAT callout. Probably best to avoid Park for a while.
9:10pm: This sounds like it was an attempt to arrest a fugitive with the US Marshals. The car went off the embankment on Park someplace.
9:14pm: Sounds like the cops have one guy at gunpoint.
9:17pm: Apparently there's people inside a dumpster. Male and female, went in both holding hands. Snipers are deployed, I really hope these folks give up.
9:27pm: Guy at gunpoint is probably unrelated. But he's still laying there.
9:40pm: Cops are just trying to get the guy who jumped the fence in the middle of all this (and was at gunpoint) out. (oh this post is stickied, wow).
10:02pm: Looking like there might be a potential body in the dumpster. (This doesn't now seem to be the case).
10:48pm: Cops are about to make bullhorn announcements.
10:57pm: Bullhorn announcements starting. Hand grabbing the other lid of the dumpster to try to close it and move trash around.
11:19: Suspect is vocally responding with "I'm not going back." Also, witness confirms he still had the rifle when running through campus and also possibly has body armor.
11:25: Cops reviewing downlink video confirming he's still armed with a AR-15 platform rifle, a 30 round magazine and possibly a pistol.
11:37: Throw phone has been delivered. Female says she'll come out if she's given water.
11:53: Still talking but suspect is agitated by the robot. Suspect hung up the phone on them.
12:25am: They are on the phone still with the negotiators. Cops have time on their side in this situation so there's no telling how long this may take. I'm sure we'll see the result on the news. I just heard the sirens and helicopter earlier and figured folks would want to know what was going on. But I'll sign off for now and hope that it ends peacefully. If I hear something real soon, I'll update again.
6:44am: Still ongoing. However, they've now switched to an encrypted channel so everyone is really going to have to wait for the news to report on this.
8:30am: As you probably know, male suspect is dead from being shot by police. Female is alive.

SB you earn from SWAGO count towards your daily goal. So if you think you might need some last-minute SB to make goal sometime this week, go ahead and fill all the perimeter spaces EXCEPT the sweepstakes and only enter if you actually need the extra SB to get your daily goal bonus and maintain your streak.
Why not just finish the perimeter right away and wait to submit it? Because while you're waiting, you're down 25SB, and there's always a chance that something unforeseen could come up that prevents you from submitting your board in time.

I know that Rim Protection is more important to a team than Perimeter Defense but why exactly is it more important?

He has the quickest hands in the league, and while he isnβt the longest contestor he still has freakishly long arms for his height, and one of the best abilities to stay in front of his man maybe ever.

PJ dozier has the 33rd best Defensive rating (102.7) in the league amongst all qualifying players (I know it's a team stat).

As the title states the game is amazing and has tons of potential, BUT the green fog in the evolved areas is awful. Put a perimeter of the fog around an area but once you enter the area it should just be a regular look to the environment.
