Argent Ordnance had the potential to bring Rocket Launchers into the meta, but unfortunately, the mod falls flat in nearly every single aspect.
Mod description: While Charged with Light, readying or firing a Rocket Launcher grants it increased damage and reload speed. Damaging a combatant with a rocket consumes one stack of Charged with Light.
I tested Argent Ordnance extensively both when it was released during Season of Arrivals, and recently. Here is what I found:
Personal thoughts on the mod and Rocket Launchers:
This mod is a failed attempt to nudge Rocket Launchers into the meta. If it increased the damage by, say, 50%, maybe it would actually see use. But in its current state, intentional or not, it is a complete waste of a combat style slot.
As of right now, Grenade Launchers have slightly less burst damage than Rocket Launchers (they catch up after about 3 shots), but about double the sustained DPS. I think having an extra rocket or two in the mag (like I have seen people ask for) will begin to make Rocket Launchers' role too similar to Grenade Launchers. Getting at least 4 kills with a Warmind Cell activates Adaptive Ordnance. Not sure why. The weapon can be stowed and the perk will be active when you switch to it.

First time I've seen .300BLK under a dollar a round in awhile. Get it while you can.
