I've been studying the Xen Producer-Consumer I/O Ring (ring.h) implementation and was having trouble understanding one of the consumer side macros: RING_HAS_UNCONSUMED_REQUESTS

I don't understand why the req computation isn't sufficient in returning the number of unconsumed responses; I'm confused by the presence of the rsp calculation, which seems to be the number of possible unconsumed responses, and ternary operation as well.
Can anyone explain why these lines exist?

So anytime I build a new loop I check ALL my fittings/connections every single night after using the PC. I've had this current loop up and running for about two weeks now and just last night I noticed a TINY bit of flashlight reflection when checking the O-rings on my GPU block.
I flattened the head of a QTip and ran it around the fitting a few times. Sure enough (sadly) the tip has a few spots of bright blue on it (my coolant color)
My question is whether this is some kind of micro-leak or is it possible that it's just some coolant that got under the o-ring and/or threads when assembling the loop (I had to drain the loop twice and refit some of the tubing runs because they were crimping a little bit)
It's an EKWB ALUMINUM 3080 Block. There's no visible water to the naked eye - you literally have to shine a flashlight directly on the fitting and even then it's barely a sheen that's noticeable.
Where can I get colored o'rings for a TRM Neutron other than on the TRM website? I want different colors other than the ones they have. Thanks in advance!
I've accepted at this point that at the start of the season I need to replace my Autocholorinator's o-ring. I did so this year but for some reason I'm still having water leakage out of the top cap similar to what happens when the o-ring has degraded.
Does anyone have some troubleshooting suggestions I can try this evening?
This is the bypass style autochlorinator if that matters at all.
