$NLOK - NortonLifeLock For the Boomers

Norton as we all know is a virus protection software, since everybody is going out and buying computers and laptops, why not slap the protection software on it for an additional $20?

Their earnings report is 5/14 AH and the stock just dipped in the morning and will likely bounce back tomorrow for pre-earning "anticipations" If you want a longer play, go long and farther out into the future for calls. For example, June 19.

What do you guys think?

TLDR: Buy calls for $NLOK, 5/15 $24

The ex date is after the payment date, how does that work?

Nortonlifelock (NLOK) special dividend and put option pricing

So NLOK will declare a special dividend of $12, which is around 43% of the stock price and goes ex-div feb 3rd. I'm looking at the options expiring at feb 21. It seems that they have not factored in such as massive movement. For example, I can buy $24 puts at the ask for $23.

Something must be wrong, options seem to not be pricing in this...? I also noted that as of writing this, there is only a ~4% move pre-market.
