$0.58 DGB is a nonzero possibility in the near future

https://twitter.com/LordXBT/status/1355403131534733319

Tweet is a month old, but even now in retrospect after Bitcoin's recent correction, the price moves are playing out surprisingly accurately (note price scale is logarithmic).

You can see in the second picture that we are at near the bottom of the correction bend in the black prediction arrow. The lines have the predicted correction to occur at $0.093 (reality was $0.09) and bottom out at $0.054 (reality was $0.049).

Previous price action going all the way back to both their conceptions are also comparable, though I suspect that to be related to Dogecoin and Digibyte both being original UTXO blockchains.

If the fractal plays out similarly for DGB, we could see the price go parabolic from here and peak around $0.58 before crashing back down (ladder your sell orders in increments, possibly around each fib price target). The rally would be feverishly aggressive as with all parabolic rallies, lasting only a few days.

I understand that Dogecoin had the massive rally partially due to Elon's tweets and in the absence of sufficient catalysts, DGB may not fulfill this fractal. Potential catalysts could be a number of HUMBL related milestones/announcements, a Coinbase listing, etc. - basically any relevant news that draws major publicity to Digibyte.

Future price movement is also highly contingent on what Bitcoin does in the near future. If Bitcoin fails to break and hold ~$50.4k resistance and continue its bullish progression, the chances of this DGB fractal also go down. Until DGB decisively breaks existing resistance levels (I want to see solid support at $0.0715) to separate itself somewhat from BTC, we will be beholden to the whims of the original cryptocurrency.

tl;dr $DOGE fractal indicates potential for $DGB to moon to $0.58 in the near future before crashing down, contingent on several favorable factors coalescing at the same time.

edit: it seems that the first DOGE pump on Jan 28, 2021 of which this fractal is indicating had nothing to do with Elon's tweets

None of this is investment advice.

Find NONZERO vectors u, v, w that are perpendicular to (1, 1, 1, 1) and to each other.

I tried to solve this problem on my own but I am stuck on the complicated equations I came into. So, I used Wolfram Alpha to solve the equations but Wolfram seem to be unable to solve it unless the first vector is zero or the vector is an imaginary number.

So, I look for the answer online and I found the solution:

u = (1, 0, 0, -1),

v = (0, 1, -1, 0),

w = (-1, 1, 1, -1)

using Gram-schmidt orthogonalization. But this question is from Chapter 1.2 of a Linear Algebra textbook by Gilbert Strang where the author hardly began to talk about matrix. The only topics covered in the chapter so far in 1.1 to 1.2 are linear combination of vectors and dot product. Armed with only this knowledge and algebra, is it possible to solve the problem systematically?

Hello everyone. I have spent my whole weekend on trying to fix this issue in xcode.

/Users/USERNAME/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/Runner-auivcilcxxvkpwaowvhroynadwbn/Build/Intermediates.noindex/ArchiveIntermediates/Runner/InstallationBuildProductsLocation/Applications/APP NAME.app/Frameworks/App.framework/App: errSecInternalComponent

What I tried:

  • Revoking certificates,
  • Removing users from xcode
  • Locking/unlocking all keys from keychain access
  • flutter clean, removing pods files
  • Clean build directory
  • pod install
  • Trying this solution: https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/49495

Any ideas on what the problem might be?

Thanks in advance!

Edit: The app works on Android devices.

Edit 2: The app works fine on iOS Simulator too, it just refuses to build. (Archive through Xcode or use flutter build ipa gives the same error)

Edit 3: Tried doing the same steps with a clean new app (flutter create app), same result.

Today I begin my Nonzero Day journey

I’ve had enough. Today I draw a line in the sand. No more, say I. The seemingly endless stream of Zero Days has brought me to this declaration: NONZERO DAYS FROM NOW ON.

I keep getting "stuck" again. I fluctuate between feeling discouraged/overwhelmed, not feeling anything at all, spurts of energy and activity and optimism. I wish I could be a better example, and I wish I could support my friends and community better, too.

Here's something I'm putting my foot down on today, right now: No More Zero Days! (Defining a Zero Day as a day that I do zero, get zero done, make zero progress.) Every day nonzero! I know I'll slip up, but I feel I must gather my strengths toward an unwavering commitment each hour of each day, else I'll keep slipping away.

I’ve been in isolation since early March 2020, and will remain isolated as much as possible until it’s safer for me to be around people (I’m in high-risk categories for COVID-19 suffering). But my life was blurred even before then (my mother passed away in February 2020), with deep clinical depression swallowing me again and again, for years if not decades. And yet I strive to gather myself to climb up out of this pit. Ever the optimist, yearning for a better life.

I see now I must have a granular life, a day-by-day intense focus (if not minute-by-minute), for my situation. I like this Nonzero Day strategy, and after admiring it from afar for a while, I’ve decided to give it my best effort.

Starting today. Wish me luck! :)

Is it possible to know how many solutions there will be (x1)^2 + (x2)^2 + … + (xn)^2 = 1 (where x1, x2, ..., xn are n variables whose values are not specified. Can we know how many solutions there are without knowing the specific values for any of these variables?

Right off the bat I see that there are at least n solutions because you could set any of the xi's to 1 while setting the rest to 0 and that would be a solution. But there are others... is there infinitely many? Is it even useful to have this information?

NonZero Day 2 - The beginning of the purge of the s**t

Made my 2021 resolution to get rid of past baggage - aka get rid of old sh*t.

Day 1 was making the decision and working on creating a system to support that idea

Day 2 (today) Began with receipts.

Lots of baggage in receipts - (I should have them more organized; I shouldn't have spent so much money; I should study them for better understanding of my spending; I should use them to create a comparison to my budget system; I should price compare items previously bought to current prices; I should use them to figure out how to be better with coupons; I should buy less; I should eat less; I should shop more small business; I should consume less for the environment; and on and on.)

So what did I do in new 2021 mode: I shredded the receipts for everything except gifts (still too close to Christmas, might need those). But that's at least 1lb of paper gone from my life.

I use to have some major issues with letting go of any paper - so I created a rotating file system so all receipts would go into it and then be shredded a year later.

Now I realize I do not need receipts for things I will not be returning once they've posted to my statement. I do not need to, nor should I feel bad about not doing any of those things with them I listed above. I do not need to keep them "just in case".

Purchase happens. Statement is correct. Receipt is done (except for warranty/returnables). And guess what - out of a year's worth of receipts I had 3 that had something that fell into that category outside of another 6 from Christmas. So went from an entire box system of a year's receipts to 9 receipts - and freedom from all thoughts of the "shoulds" listed above. I am done with burdening myself with all the things I could/should do. I may do them in the future, but I do not need to keep things pending that future event.

As my new motto for 2021 says - I got new sh*t I could be doing.

In my case, would you consider videogames as a nonzero activity?

I read that working towards a goal is part of having nonzero days. In the future I plan to be a content creator as a hobby and if it takes off maybe as a career. I still want to do really well despite it being just a side thing for self-fulfillment. Some of my content ideas revolve around gaming and even though I love gaming I just don't have the mechanical skill to become a creator. Pewdiepie, Jack, and other creators have one thing in common, they're all very good at videogames. Not pros. But good like they're used to it. I want to get to that point and so I play videogames as much as I can in secret (I have strict parents). I do different genres that my little laptop can allow like League and Paladins (its the only free fps I can run and enjoy). Do these activities count? Or should I not count them because despite the aforementioned reasons, I also still do them for fun and pleasure?

[Kinematics] Displacement and nonzero average velocity

Question: Is it possible to have 0 displacement and a nonzero average velocity?

I've looked up answers online and some websites say yes it's possible, for example if an object is going in a circle, it'd end up in the same position whilst having an average velocity. Some say it isn't theoretically possible, since judging by the formula for average velocity, if you had 0 displacement, then any amount of time you divide it with, you'd still end up with 0.

I have no idea which one is right. Though i'm leaning more towards the "no" explanation, since I don't think moving in a circle counts as a "velocity" (Is it?).

Also, I'm not sure if this is the right flair, since this is also kinda my homework. The question also said to illustrate it in a position vs time graph. If anyone could show me the graph for the explanation, that would be really appreciated!

Could fluctuations with nonzero probabilities create a universe?

After the universe reaches its maximum entropy state and dies during heat death ,or whichever way it ends up dying from, could fluctuations cause the inflation field to start a new cycle of inflation reheating standard cosmology and eventually lead to heat death? I know that fluctuations outside of the thermal equilibrium are rare and the fluctuations large enough to create a universe even one exactly like ours are extremely rare but since they have a nonzero probability wouldn’t that mean that no matter how improbable or unlikely it may be it will EVENTUALLY happen after a ridiculously long amount of time. Is this true or can something be sayid to go against it? I’m curious on what can be sayid to deny this.

NonZero Index ergonomics?

I have a program that works with mutable cyclic graphs. Right now, I just store all the nodes in a Vec and use type ID = usize as my "pointer" type, which works pretty well.

I'm considering initializing the Vec with an unused dummy node so all the node indices are >= 1 and then switching ID to NonZeroUsize so that I can efficiently support Option<ID>. However, it seems to me like this would be a big ergonomics hit because you can no longer directly index vectors with a NonZeroUsize (or at least I assume so, I haven't actually tried it yet). Instead, you have to add a lot of .get() boilerplate everywhere. Is there a good solution for this?

Nonzero IgG / IgM significance

I am having a host of weird symptoms, and have received a couple positive results (Mycoplasma Pneumoniae) from my lab work that are hopefully pointing me and my healthcare team in the right direction.

I am curious though, as I was recently tested for a bunch of tick-borne diseases which came back negative, what do non-zero values mean?

Bartonella Henselae, for example, came back IgM 0.19 (pos >= 1.11) and IgG 0.44 (pos >= 1.11).

Does it mean I was possibly exposed (but didn't have a severe enough infection to meet the test threshold), or is it just an artifact of the test process?

I assume this varies based on test methodology (this was an ELISA test), but I am asking out of general curiosity.

We made sure to disinfect our clothes before going upstairs after walking back home. It sucks that this summer is pretty much bust, especially since I was planning to make this summer very memorable and full of adventure, before real life sets in for all of us when we attend uni as first time students in the fall. Can’t believe that just yesterday we were high school freshmen and now we’re gonna be freshmen AGAIN 😭 But I acknowledge the fact that I am privileged and lucky that this is something I can actually complain about, when there are healthcare workers and those sick w/ covid, along w/ those who are financially struggling or living paycheck to paycheck. If anything, this flaming hot shit of a situation inspires me more to work in the medical field. I’ve seen some real idiots from my school actually throw huge parties and barbecues. As someone who’s immunocompromised herself and has dutifully stayed home and haven’t seen their boyfriend NOR her girlfriends in 7 weeks until now, this shit really pisses me off. Don’t be outside in large gatherings unless you are in the protests going on rn.

  2. Finished scholarship application (took two days and three breakdowns but I did it!! I don’t want to give credit to myself because I feel like I don’t deserve credit for being a mentally ill idiot who can’t do simple things ahaha)

  3. Wrote thank you letters to two of my teachers
