I remember seeing the news headlines of this sick POS killing himself. I also remember saying “good riddance” out loud after seeing this news everywhere (including Instagram). When I recently googled his name after reading an article about him, turns out he is still alive.
Anyone else relate to this?
Edit: No I am not confusing this with Eipsteins suicide
I want to draw your attention to the new up and coming Artist Chadi Nassar who recently launched his first small batches of AI Art on the Cardano Blockchain. I really like his Art so please check him out, his second drop will be coming this friday.
Have fun, all the best
We just got done watching “Athlete A”, the documentary about the USA Gymnastics doctor who molested young girls for many decades. It’s a fantastic, fascinating show and you must see it. There are DOZENS of heroes in this story, and a single piece of shit.
Nassar obviously did it beyond any doubt whatsoever, and as a father I think his sentence should be five minutes in a room with the fathers of his 500(!!!!) victims.
That being said...there’s a scene where the investigator, 15 months after people started taking the victims’ claims seriously, told the story of how she went to his house. It happened to be garbage day, so they could legally go through any garbage on the curb. Here’s what they found:
Discarded hard drives, with “Larry Nassar” written in permanent marker on them, containing 37,000 images of child porn.
Read that again. If that sounds like something from a bad movie, I would disagree because no script writer would include anything so obviously ridiculous!
Break it down:
The police show up on garbage day, before the garbage men
They chose the VERY DAY, in 15 months, that Larry apparently thought it would be a good idea to throw away his child porn collection
Larry signed his hard drives, as we all do, before throwing them in the trash
Larry, a man with a PhD, didn’t think to remove the child porn from his drives (or even destroy them) before putting them on the curb for anyone to pick up
I mean, I have no sympathy for the man at all but this narrative smells like it was also pulled from that garbage can.
for school i have to make a political/editorial cartoon on a recent/current problem in the world, and I chose usag and how.. disappointing it is. my art skills arent great so im hoping my essay will also explain further.
the "main idea" is "We are deeply committed to learning from the mistakes of the past" and everything that has happened since that statement was issued (june 2020-present and obviously nassar), that contradicts that.
the topics i have already planned to cover is
what else am i missing?
