UPDATE: I have been made aware that I was using the incorrect list. This should now be fixed.
Seeing as EA announced they are working with CLC to get the rights to schools, I thought I'd make a list of all the FBS schools they represent.

Hi there seems to be a problem viewing media on Luminus for a few of my mods. Is anyone else experiencing this?
Hi there, I am trying to figure out the best way to build a BMW-style control knob, which can be rotated, pushed in, pushed to either side, and pushed up or down. I want to ultimately use as input for a raspberry pi. What components should I look for?
Hey. I am not sure if this is the right subreddit, but I am interested to be some sort to be an art director or illustrator/graphic-designer of some sort. The problem is though is that I sadly didn’t took school that seriously been indecisive on which electives I am interested other than imagining myself as an art director by using my minimal drawing skills for promotion and/or animation/film. I am currently in 11th grade, I sadly didn’t took any advanced classes at all in my life and I didn’t take any of the college-based practice test seriously. Are there anyways to accomplish my future life without the new need of being on advanced classes nor interested to go to an education such as college due to cost and unnecessary stress from subjects that don’t relate to the arts at all? Thanks for any replies and such.
By the way, such things are causing my mental-health to go haywire but thank the Lord I am not paying for school, yet.
I am looking to hire writers for a new multimedia website that recently launched. We would love to get people on the team who share our ethos and values and are looking for longterm writing gigs as part of our growing platform. Most of the team is based in New York City so it would be great to find people around that time zone but please don't hesitate to send a DM over even if you're somewhere else on the globe entirely. Above all, we just want to find people that share our values and can write content full of heart and soul.
What's the rate?
As a starting rate, we'll be paying $0.08 per word.
What are the niches?
The site topics range across the spectrum, from technology and gaming to healthcare and social issues. Here are the categories we are most of all interested in:
What type of content?
The site deals mostly in evergreen articles, pieces of content that continue to be relevant or valuable to users for long periods of time. Mostly longform complete guides, buying guides, reviews as well as shorter trend pieces that may find social media appeal. The only thing we do not write is general news.
What are some bonus skills to have?
In this business, SEO is always a valuable skill to have, but as someone who has worked as a Head of Search for several years, I know that the most important aspect of SEO is the value you bring to the user. So don't worry if you don't have a bunch of fancy SEO experience. We'll cover the SEO stuff, and even provide opportunities for you to learn if you wish.
What are our values?
We deal in entertainment and information but we serve it with empathy and kindness.
If this resonates with you and sounds like something you might want to be a part of, then I'd love to chat! Send me a DM and we'll get to know each other.
Hello everyone, as you read, I’ve been an Apple guy until now. Got tired of how closed the ecosystem is, so I would like to change to Android and get a phone that could handle some emulators (like Dolphin for example) and be overall a device that can deliver a great multimedia experience. Big good quality OLED/AMOLED screen, with 90-120hz if possible, but I wouldn’t mind keeping to 60hz for a while longer. I’m no photographer, but I wouldn’t like a crappy camera either. Overall, a leap from my current iPhone 7 but the maximum I would spend is $500. I’ve thought about the Samsung A71 and S20 FE (waiting for a very good deal in the case of the latter), but it worries me that the former might not hold the 3 or more years I would like the phone to last. Thanks for any recommendations you can offer.
Edit: didn’t include country because I might end up importing from the US due to how complicated things are where I live in terms of technology, sales and stable prices. But even then a good sale could show up here nevertheless. Mostly asking for references to keep an eye on.
What do you think about this release? Who do you think is this synth for?
I've graduated with both a B.A in Linguistics and M.A in Multimedia Journalism. I've worked as a journalist and I've also worked in public relations, but lost my job last year due to covid. For the last year I've been applying in the same sector (including marketing), but I'm getting no where with my job applications.
I'm thinking about going a different route, but I'm just a bit lost. I love linguistics, but if I wanted to get into speech pathology I would need to go back to school and thats not an option for me right now.
Would very much appreciate some career advice or options you may think I have.
Thank you :)
In Device Manager, there is a device called "Multimedia Controller" under the section of other devices with a yellow exclamation mark. When I open the device properties, it says "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28) There are no compatible drivers for this device." The hardware ID for the device is " PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_15E2&SUBSYS_09F51028&REV_01\4&20c24d55&0&0541". Do you know what is this device responsible for? (I googled the hardware ID but no results were found.)
I don't know when this warning began to appear. I updated the Realtek Audio driver last month and I heard it caused some problems for the other Dell G5SE users, so I tried to roll back to the previous version but the warning still appears in Device Manager.
I also tried updating the device using Device Manager but it says "Windows could not find drivers for your device." When I remove the device and scan for the hardware changes, Device Manager finds it again, and the warning returns.
Has anyone else come across this weird problem?
I have a feeling that Time Lord Victorious is not the last we'll see of Doctor Who utilizing its reach of media formats to tie into one big cosmic event. I've not been exposed to TLV very much besides Daleks! and Mutually Assured Destruction, but what I have gotten out of it are some really interesting stories and ideas. If we're going to get more of these multimedia story events in the same vein as TLV, I want to see your pitches for it. What would the storyline be? Which Doctors would be involved? Who would be the main villain?
I swith pipewire on fedora 33. After starting my computer my multimedia keys doesnt work, sound up, sound down, mute, mic mute. But if I login and logout sway then relogin gnome it works. I checked my sway config, It is pretty much vanilla one from /etc/sway, I didnt find any thing that could start some program or deamon that could explain why it works under sway.
So I have just a few questions regarding them being able to play music / videos YouTube ? Is that possible on almost any of them ? I admittedly just started looking into this all the last day or two, but I keep hearing stuff about videos not being able to be played unless the parking break is set. So does that mean you won’t be able to pull up YouTube within Apple carplay ? I know you can do Spotify and pandora with a lot, but I do tend to use YouTube for music quite often and am not able to find a lot answering this question. So far I’m looking at the Sony ax5000/5500 and a few others within a similar range, but am open to suggestions also if anyone has any others they prefer for certain reasons. My friend got the Sony xav-ax1000 , and that’s one more question I have.... so that one mounts the USB cable through the front display , but a lot of the others I keep seeing say they are through the back... if that’s the case where do most people end up plugging them in or putting the USB inputs at? I have a 2011 Lexus es350 that has a USB input in the center console , would it just be the same spot or does it come out somewhere else? Not really understanding that part of it either yet. Any help & suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Heyo! Hopefully this will make some kind of sense. Just need some help with understanding / sorting things out
So I shot lots of small video projects ranging from short films to commercials. My main problem is that my pc is both for gaming and content production. Down the line Ill have them sepereated, but for now its both combined.
I have two 6 year old 144hz monitors which I use for cutting etc, and a calibrated 1440p dell monitor for the grading.
I now am getting enough work that I can afford a bit of a upgrade.
I understand at my budget there isn't a "Professional / cinema" level monitor like the damn sexy flanders. I am not doing deliverables to Netflix / High end cinema and frankly for anything at that level I have a budget to hire an actual colorist. Most of my content ends up online and is viewed on mobile.
My questions are:
How does the decklink work, why would / should I get one.
How does it conflict with day to day stuff, can I use my color monitor for regular work without having to replug it into my gpu?
Doing 4k delivery, are you guys grading on 4k monitors or 1080p still?
Any reccos for low delta E monitors? I have a budget of $800 CAD or so. Yes I know its isnt allot, but I am assuming that anything as of 2020 is hell of a upgrade compared to my 6-8 year old monitors.
Thanks allot in advance!
I have large wooden canvas multimedia art piece I've made years ago thats mainly made up of shaved crayon. It's held up well but lately I've noticed its been "shedding" a lot especially when moved. When I made the piece, I used well bond glue to attach the shavings but I never varnished it. I bought a large tub of modge podge thinking that will help me seal everything in (and make it easier to dust) but I've just read that modge podge yellows over time? Is that true? If so what alternate sealing methods can I use? I don't think I could do something like a resin purely because the piece is too large to spend all that money to cover. Please help me think of a solution to seal my artwork to make it last because its sentimental and I'd really love to restore it!
Short version of the story is that I bought a Cyberpower prebuilt - because that's apparently what you have to do to get a new GPU and a CPU, while giving scalpers the middle finger... Anyway, I have parted out the system and sold many of the items but this is what I still have left to sell.
The system was turned on and everything checked out in the bios, so I would consider all the items "new (other)" as they are all new components, pulled from a brand new machine, with zero real world usage - their physical condition will reflect this, but may not come with original packaging. Prefer cash but if I'm not loosing too much money by going PayPal and shipping, i'll consider it.
► Asus X570 TUF GAMING Plus (WiFi): $170
► 500gb WD SN550 PCIe 3.0 M.2 NVME SSD: $45
► 3TB WD Hard Drive (3.5" / 5400rpm): $60
► Cyberpower Skorpion K2 RGB Mechanical Keyboard / Blue Switches: $60
► Gaming Tactile Membrane Media Control Keyboard (in-box new): $10
If you want more detailed information on the parts, the process and how I came by them... I did a video a couple weeks back on YouTube. This isn't meant to be self promotion / spam so I'm not going to link the video... But I'm sure you can figure it out by my name if you're smart enough.
Thanks Guys! Happy to answer any questions.
Does anyone knows how to download videos from the multimedia tab of a module? Especially when its powered by the Oplayer. Theres no mp4 tag in the elements when i inspect element so i cant download.
I noticed that the 2018 model has neither CarPlay or Android Auto and has a tiny backup camera screen compared to 2019 and newer models.
Has anyone successfully installed a stereo with CarPlay / Android Auto? Or 360 view camera system that can be displayed on multimedia system? If so, what part did you use?
