I have a pattern that calls for four strands of mohair lace to be held together, but all that mohair does not seem to be in my budget at the moment. What would that equal to? Worsted weight, dk...? Thanks in advance. Instead I would do one strand mohair and another in whatever that would equal to.
I bought [https://www.decathlon.ca/en/cross-country-skis/311807-65847-xc-s-150-classic-cross-country-skin-skis-rottefella-basic-auto-bindings.html#/demodelsize-296200_cm/demodelundefined-8558420?queryID=420e97031fd09f5b19bee36edd3e0c5f&objectID=2942048] (these skis)recently, as a beginner, and they are good. However, I wonder if they need to be waxed or treated as they seem to show a bit of wear already (done about 50km so far). Thanks!
Edit: sorry for the weird link. Am noob.
does anyone by any chance have a free pattern for a cardigan/ sweater using mohair/ kidsilk. I found these cute puffy sleeved fluffy cardis online but I was like hmm.. thats pretty expensive I could knit my own! I have some mohair yarn laying around, please let me know if you have came across a pattern, also please share your experience working with mohair as this will be my first ever mohair project. Thanks and happy knitting :D
I'm knitting my first full mohair cardigan. I'm using three strands of mohair and the pattern from Petiteknit (Sunday Cardigan). How should I finish this garment? I've usually all woollen knits finished with soaking in cold water, gently removing excess water with towel and blocking the knit. Will this ruin the knit? Thank you in advance!
