That's it. I'm pissed, it was supposed to be a proud moment and now I'm just creeped out. Dudes, even if the picture showed my body (this doesn't justify anything but I was dressed in both pictures), it was not a fuckin invitation. That's all.
Edit : Dudes trying to make me understand that it's the internet and that this behavior is to be expected... You really don't get it do you? Read the other comments here porfavor. This is an issue girls face everywhere, even irl. And as long as it affects us to the point we don't feel safe, why should I fuckin shut up? Look at the bigger picture, go read a book or leave us alone.
Edit 2 : I am not "playing" the fuckin victim, I am telling what happened and how I felt about it.
Edit 3 : This will be my final edit. A little trilogy like Lord of the Rings. So I didn't expect this post to get this much attention. I legit just wanted to address a problem we women face every day, internet or no. As you can guess, I'm receiving lovely messages like "... keep reading on reddit ➡
After 6 years of service in the USAF and an honorable discharge I returned to civilian life to discover a deck stacked against me. Inadequate access to healthcare, student loan debt that I may never be able to repay for an education that I can’t use because the school is insolvent, climate change and a stagnant government has created an atmosphere of despair that was slowly smothering me. I live to serve, it’s what led me to the Air Force and it’s what’s motivating my canandicy now. I cannot sit on the sidelines witnessing suffering if it feels there’s something I can do to alleviate it.
I was so inspired by Andrew Yang, his authenticity and compassion was enough to get me to give the Freedom Dividend a second look because I was NOT a fan at first. But the more I studied, the more curious I got and the more it made sense. It took awhile for me to come around but now I’m all in. I have realized that not only is it POSSIBLE for our economy to support a guaranteed income for all but that... keep reading on reddit ➡
Oof, Rudy Gobert is not having the greatest 2020... Someone has to get this guy a publicist/PR team.
edit: the tweet is now deleted, btw.
Turns out he didn't like me moving my tent at the SBQ, so he proceeded to call me a weak SMF over 200 times through text chat, then his friend proceeded to tell me I've messed with the wrong guy and that he's calling his pal at microsoft to get me banned.
New subs in r/JesusFandom and r/dankchristianmemes2 have been set up.
It appears to be some mod drama but I had no activity in the sub so I didn’t see anything firsthand.
Here are some discussion threads I found when I sorted by new:

If you meet a girl on the internet, on social media, a game, anywhere really, don't be a weirdo. Don't dm asking for nudes, don't ask for snaps or a phone number, its not gonna happen, and it makes girls feel weird, targeted, and harassed. Don't call her cute, or anything commenting on appearance or attraction. This is creepy and gross. Talk to her like you would a guy. Don't say anything blatantly sexist, none of those jokes are funny. Believe me. I've heard them so many times, and it was never funny, but it's especially not funny after hearing the "my dishwasher is broken come replace it" joke for the 5th time that day. Boys online still have to deal with bullying and harassment, I'm not saying they don't, but on platforms like reddit and a lot of video games, there are not nearly as many girls as boys, and grown men frequently harass girls. It's not fun to be on the receiving end of this shit.
Sorry if this makes no sense, I have ADHD and wrote it at 3 am.
Rivingtons statement seems empty. Riot is working to solve this problem which of course takes time. Fine.
But banning toxic role models doesnt take a lot of time. They can atleast start the first step by now.
I wanted to share what my friend is going through. He has been told that Best Buy has decided to not enforce the mask ordinance and will pay the fine instead. They are blaming it on "fear of an active shooter," but it seems more that they are doing it for profit with July 4th coming up and don't care about their workers health at all. They are worried that they will get sick and feel they have no choice, but to keep working to pay their bills. I urge every one to take the masks seriously if you decide to go to Best Buy, for your health as well as the workers health.
My friend had this to say: "We need to inform the public that Bestbuy is encouraging the use of mask but not enforcing it, according to Austin orders. They are willing to pay the fine of $1,000 per person, in order to avoid an active shooter situation. They don't want to make people feel excluded from the store even if they don't use a mask. In addition they're taking the hazard pay away from the employees on July 4th."
ETA: Error in title. It should be University of Notre Dame, not Notre Dame College.
On the morning of March 22nd, 1975, 62-year-old Helen Tobolski arrived at her job at the University of Notre Dame where she worked as a custodian. Helen punched her time card at 7am. She gathered her cleaning materials, and filled a mop bucket with water before heading over to the campus Aerospace Engineering building.
At 9am an engineering professor named Dr. Hugh Ackert entered the building. As he walked from the offices to the machine shop, he found Helen lying in a hallway in a pool of blood. She had been shot in the head. Written on a blackboard in the classroom across from Helen was a bizarre message:
”2-21-75 the day I died.”
An autopsy revealed that Helen had been shot at close range in her left ear with a small caliber gun.
Helens body was discovered at the north end of a hallway, while her mop bucket was found, unused, at the south end of the hallway. Both of the doors were locked Fr... keep reading on reddit ➡

Faker's speech goes like:
Hello everyone, I’m T1 Faker. When I heard the news of Uzi’s retirement, speaking for myself, he’s been an excellent player who’s competed against me on the same stage for so many years. And at the same time, he’s also an extremely popular Chinese player. So when I heard the news of his retirement, I was actually reluctant to believe it. Uzi has always been worked very hard, so it’s a great pity that he’s now retired. At the same time, there are many fans in China who like Uzi, the fans will also be sad hearing these news . My heart feels rather heavy when I think about that. Although Uzi’s career has ended, I believe that from now on he’ll grow very well in the days to come. I hope Uzi’s fans can always continue to support him. Uzi fighting!

Edit: I did not expect so much love and support from complete strangers! I genuinely expected to be called out as a whiner in some way.
I likely won't be able to reply to everyone so I'll stick mostly to answering questions. Regardless I'm humbled by all of your kind words, and I'm happy to hear this message brought positivity to so many. I've been holding back happy tears all morning!
Hopefully reading this is half as cathartic for you as it was for me.
Short back story: My parents have been separated since birth, and I've lived far below the poverty line all my life.
I haven't spoken to my dad since he let me stay at his place 5 years ago. I was 19 living on my own working a dead end job, no money, no savings, no future, so I asked my dad if I could stay at his place in the city while I found a new apartment/job. Things went south and I haven't spoken to him since.
He messaged me las... keep reading on reddit ➡
You can. Welcome to the Big Tent!
My partner and I just recently welcomed our third baby. All of my births have been scheduled induction or a planned c section, so each birth was on the day and our babies entered the world calmly. I’ve always felt blessed for that.
This one arrived 4 weeks early with my water breaking so we were taken by wind with her arrival. Previous to this with the global pandemic work has been absolutely insane and I was easily giving 50 or more hour work weeks. The house got away from both my partner. With each baby I have a ritual of deep cleaning, every piece of laundry done, everything is in order. Given the surprise entrance of our daughter everything was the opposite and I had to literally do laundry to even finish my hospital bag and I had to leave for the hospital before anything was finished. So just to set the scene, everything felt chaotic and literally 3 hours after arriving to the hospital I was in surgery for delivery. We still had no name for our baby.
Before they took me back... keep reading on reddit ➡
