I wonder if Christine is now realizing the fullness of her power as the family’s true home base. Kody may be what the wives have in common, but Christine is what the kids have in common. Christine is the one who created traditions like JS birthday and the older girls making Christmas breakfast. She had the stupid wrestling mat in her garage. She allows mess, noise and feelings. She’s accepting. She listens. She seems to do most of the hosting and cooking. She has good relationships with all the kids. Janelle’s boys hung out at her house with Truley when they were struggling. Madison wanted her there when she gave birth. Madison picked out her grandma name. Even with Mariah, the banter is loving and easy and unforced. She’s actually the families common denominator, and that’s why her refusal to get over her natural feelings and fall in line means so much more than it would from any other person.
Assuming that it was Liara in the trailer (99.9999% sure it was) and Assuming ME4 takes place centuries into the future, what are your thoughts on seeing Liara as the matriarch figure? The "old" lady who is wise and has seen many events and serves as a way to connect the ME trilogy with that wherever Bioware takes the next ME game.
This also makes a Liara romance in the trilogy even more compelling.
Any suggestions on how to deal with the lighting on this fight? Despite the ridiculous amount of spiderlings that come out, and the fact the matriarch one shotted my custom fighter with 17 strength and con in one turn with a 14+15 attack... this fight can be done if I COULD ACTUALLY HIT THE BITCH.
Everything’s in the damn shadows and my hit chance goes from 95% with that wizard spell that lights up an area, to 30% as soon as the matriarch teleports away. Any advice, other than that one mage spell that lights up a small area?
Sorry if this is a dumb add question, but me and my buddy are complete newbies on to BG3. Any help’s (and I mean any strategy for this fight) greatly appreciated.

I think I will really regret selling them. But that's what it is.
Prefer someone take it both. USD 10 off for taking them both. Thanks.
i swear its alot different from op 4 its pulling sharp corner turns and tramplin me when i swear it shouldn't
The combination of a Vision Cone and Bonus Action Hide is just too broken imo.
It started as a simple scout mission for my Imp familiar. But I got ballsy and tried to destroy some spiderling eggs when Mommy wasn't looking. When she eventually did caught the Imp, she awakened another nest. I flew to a spot outside he and her brood's cone of vision and BA hide.
The Spiderlings crawled around a bit while Momma and her kids just stood still. Impy could easily move to a Spiderling, kill it and move back to BA hide outside of vision. Rinse and repeat for all Spiderling and nests...
Next up in the challenge where the Kids. I really dont know what borked the AI, but if you fly behind the spider, hit it & BA Hide:
It. Won't. Turn. Around.
Only when you move away, it'll provoke an Attack of Opportunity. It took me an imp to find that out. No sweat, we can always cast another one from a safe distance.
After some backstabbing and hiding behind backs, Momma was all alone, with her considerable health pool of 138hp. This was going to be a slog, if it weren't for the spiderweb bridges.
Impy had to be brave and reveal himself to Momma Spider while standing next to a bridge. Momma phases up, and with a little bit of luck doesnt kill the Imp outright. (If she does, well, here's another summon) Then Impy claws away at the bridge, and the spider takes a lot of fall damage. There's even a neat trick with a fresh Imp. If you approach invisible, you'll gain surprise. Letting you strike the webbing twice, before Momma can take a turn.
Let Gravity do it's work 3 times, and then 2 or 3 backstabs and there you have it: A broken stealth & vision mechanic.
So I was grinding some suicidal solos and I got the Matriarch boss. Everything was good until she did the plasma cannon attack. I was standing behind cover and the beam from the gun appears out of nowhere and hits me. At that point I shit myself and ran away. Only to see that there was no possible way for her to hit me. Brushed it off as maybe she just ran over there. Then, I was standing in an open area and she did it agian. The beam spawned behind me and melted me. I couldn't get a clip of it, so if anyone else has experienced this please make sure I'm not crazy. Thanks
