Making Crafting Profitable Part 3

In part 3 we will cover:

  • I provided a typo in the auction house list fees. I apologize, and will provide the correct version
  • why the Default Material Cost Method does not use dbminbuyout and neither should you
  • a very short-term "fix" buying materials and crafting right away that shouldn't be used long-term
  • the difference between smartavgbuy and avgbuy
  • the Sources list in the Gathering tab of the crafting UI
  • using a custom price source to make auctioning simpler when we get to that point

I will explain things relating to part 3 herein, but if something is not covered, check part 1 and part 2. In fact, if you haven't read parts 1 and 2, then part 3 isn't going to be totally useful.

The listing fees typo

Unnatural Combinations

I think most people are surprised when they learn one of my hobbies is taxidermy.

I know what you probably expect when you hear that- some shady looking Ed Gein kinda guy. I’m gonna clear this up off the bat. Not everyone that practices taxidermy looks like a serial killer, all empty eyes and unsettling grins. I’d like to say I’m pretty normal, as far as your average human being goes. I’m close to my parents, I have a good job, I even have a dog named Hamlet. But I also really do enjoy taxidermy.

I picked up the hobby almost… god, has to be like ten to twelve years now. At the time, I thought the same as probably most of you, that taxidermy was for people like Norman Bates or Leatherface. That changed during a highschool project where I had to shadow someone at their workplace. Since I was sick the day all the popular choices were taken, I got stuck working at McConnell Taxidermy with the stern looking Walter McConnell. Although I originally expected to be either bored or grossed

How to become a flipping mega goblin <Guide>

I currently flip pretty much anything across every EU server and just wanted to share a few pointers as I have seen quite a few people asking about flipping recently.

My motivation to become a mega goblin (100% Skippable if you are here for tips)

As with many stories this year it all started with Covid. Both me and my partner have always turned to games in the most challenging times of our lives and being a nurse during a pandemic was never going to be a good year. We have both had very different experiences over the last 6 months but one thing we both agree on is that we have zipped up more body bags this year than the rest of our careers combined. I needed a distraction but 8.3 was old news by now, Shadowlands was decades away and so I though what the hell I’ll try getting my long boi. Perhaps that would do the job after all when I played starwars galaxies I crafted almost exclusively and it was a great time.

So, I went at it, I farmed, I crafted, I flipped and I got my

Maybe a mailbox or a bulletin board (like those covered ones they have at parks). I think it would be really fun to be able to choose a message to leave for others and then you could get feedback on your base. It could work from a pre-populated list--something like:

My First 4-Color Print: A Memoir

Hey! After lurking this community for many months, I made my first 4-color print a few weeks after making my first 1-color print. I got a cheap press, tinkered with it endlessly and wasted days upon days making dumb mistakes that I came here to troubleshoot. Rather than remain in the shadows forever, I wanted to post this story somewhere to have a record of it; where people could understand my struggles navigating this learning curve. (Video at bottom of post)

This story takes place in the shed in my backyard.

Before I had the 4-color press, I made one shirt successfully with those metal clamps that come in DIY Kits. A lot of eyeballing and several hours later I somehow did a passable enough job aligning 5 screens (4 on the back + one chest) on this "1-color press."

SO, I took some pictures and put it up for sale...this was the moment I entered the abyss.

I have a small podcast and this is our first hand-printed, hand-dyed piece of merch. It was designed by our friend Hann

What to Do After Forming Your LLC

Congratulations! If you’re here, that means you’ve taken your first steps as a business owner and formed your LLC. To get to this point, you must have a registered agent, filed Articles of Organization, prepared an operating agreement (good on you for doing this), and applied for your EIN. However, you’ve only done half of it. You’re probably thinking what? I know! Don’t worry though we’ve simplified it. Here is what you need to do AFTER forming your LLC.

Maintain Your Annual Reports

An important step to staying compliant is to maintain your annual reports. In these reports, you’ll generally need to supply your LLC’s physical address and your registered agent’s name and address. Basically, if your address or registered agent changes make sure you update your annual report!

WARNING! Failure to do so may result in you facing fees, penalties, and you may risk closure and loss of good standing.

Now that you know that, let’s have a refresher on the two elements a bit more to help

I called (waited on hold for 30 minutes) and the "advocate" said he was confused because it had not even gone through their "150-point inspection". He said that he would see what he could do to get it bumped up to the "front of the line". Magically, it was inspected 20 minutes later (that should have been my first clue). I happen to live in an area outside of Carvana's delivery zone so they charged me an extra $200 and said they would have a 3rd party deliver it. Three weeks later - still no contact and no delivery. I finally called Carvana (on hold for over 30 minutes) and they apologized but said to give it another week. Another week went by and still no contact and no delivery. It was a whim, really, that took me to exit the freeway on my way home, and down through the neighborhood where I grew up. Somewhat out of curiosity to see how much things had changed, and partly for the sense of nostalgia passing through the familiar streets I had walked as a child. I grew up in cul-de-sac, one several forming a small suburb, a cluster of housing nestled in the industrial outskirts of the city. It was a crossroads; encroaching civilization merging with what was formerly empty, wild land, integrated into a new coexistence. Passing through, where there once were empty fields, run down truck stops, and abandoned warehouses now stood row after row of housing, streets filled with clusters of apartments dotted with sterile street corner parks. What was left of the neighborhood really had changed, not only in it’s architecture and people, but in my perception of it.

The sense of openness was gone as the city stretched, burying the suburbs with a cold, asphalt landscape

How to create a successful Social Media Marketing Campaign?

Social media marketing refers to marketing campaigns carried out via social media. Of the 7.7 billion people on Earth, about 4.4 billion are Internet users. In this sense, it should come as no surprise that companies around the world are channeling more resources in social media marketing campaigns. Not only are the eyes there, but these eyes can also be seen by companies from all over the world.

In addition, proven monitoring of marketing is to build and maintain relationships with customers. Social media accounts allow companies to reach out to their customers and engage them with much less effort on the part of the Marketing Company in Mumbai and the customer.

Social media marketing is more difficult than the existence of De Kid YouTube stars would make us believe. It's not enough to make a big contribution to your marketing efforts, instead, you need to create and run social media marketing campaigns.

This was originally a reply to a submission asking about making gold outside of BFA, but the post I commented on was removed for being a repetitive topic and was asked to post my reply as it's own submission by a mod. So hopefully this post will minimal the execive ''how to make gold'' posts on this sub, and instead gather them all here (for now).

While running raids and dungeons for raw gold is a tempting thing, and current content materials being very easy to get into, it gets really repetitive after a while and usually don't give you that much gold for your time spent.

What I would do if your current prices on BFA materials aren't good, is getting into some old world material markets instead. Just because it isn't current content, doesn't mean that it's obsolete. While they are slower to sell than current content herbs, leather and ore, they do sell for more.

Annoyingly, they won't all fit into one convenient post, so this will be split into two parts. This part ends at the letter H! The Spam Folder: Why Is My Email Going To Spam

As an email marketer, getting your email campaign to the recipients’ inbox is the most essential part of what you do. Unfortunately, it’s quite common to see legitimate email senders asking – “Why is my email going to spam?”

How are your open rates? What can you do to avoid your emails going to spam? In 2018, the global inbox placement rate (IPR), which is the number of emails that arrive in the inbox out of the total emails sent, was 85%. In 2019, IPR suffered a 2% drop leaving it at 83%. Pretty impressive and yet, it also means that approximately one out of five emails you send is either getting flagged as spam by the recipients’ email client or not delivered at all. What can you do to prevent your emails from ending up in the dreaded spam folder?

Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross - A Review

Hello everyone! I’ve been playing SDS Grand Cross since release and it’s quickly become one of my favourite gachas to date. The game has a lot of depth and a ton of content with memorable units and interesting combat.

However, whenever the game comes up in the sub, I usually see a mix of incomplete information or even straight up misinformation about several topics. With that in mind, I’ve decided to write a “review” of sorts in an attempt to paint a more complete picture for the folks here at r/gachagaming that might be interested in the game.

I’ll try to cover the basics of the gameplay so you can be on par with what I’m explaining, but I won’t go over most stuff that you can find in video footage.

It's... a bit long, so please bear with me.

In SDS, you play with a party of 3 units + 1 sub unit (that replaces a fallen ally) to tackle the majority of the game's content, with a few special places allowing you to use all 4 units in play at once. Every unit can have an "as

They are on-boarding restaurants and merchants faster than our PM can change language settings and growing their delivery fleet rapidly to a scale possibly larger than Donald’s ego. > > The Singapore government had announced recently that they will step in with a budget allocated to get delivery platforms to help subsidise the delivery charges and reduce the commission rates for the badly hit F&B sector. Buckle up fellas it’s all downhill from here 🎢ShamWeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeri(WTT)(WTS)🍀

Fresh outa the mailbox fellas and full disclosure ,it’s just fishing bait to me ,so I’m not gonna waste any time staring at it because I’d rather be staring at an arius .So there you have it , this trade/ sale is with emphasis towards one of those or some other nice knife I haven’t handled yet /Think micarta voids or typhoons/really anything high mid range but if you’ve got an arius id be adding cash obviously 👍I’m gonna deal with trades first for a bit, but if it’s slow and nothing good pops the first yolo gets it of course.😑Now ,I’m gonna be real transparent and tell you Exactly what I payed /310 🤔Not to shabby so that’s what I’ll ask (SV310) however I have no desire to add money to any of your trades other than an arius so that’s getting a (TV325) which should cover most of the mids. Thanks to you bros who have been throwing me bones lately (I love you guys) https://imgur.com/a/BP7VMjk Sold for 310

“You won’t have to come back in again”

Ok so maybe I’m just being overly sensitive, but I guess more than anything I just needed to get this off my chest cuz I didn’t have anyone to tell this to. So I put in my two week notice last week because I was offered a higher paying job somewhere else. My last day was supposed to be this Thursday. Yesterday (Monday) I get a text from my sales manager wondering if I’m coming in for work. I was really confused because I was scheduled for later that day, but I told her I was planning to come in at 2 when I was scheduled. She texted back and said “corporate decided we are opening up for regular hours, so the schedule changed. I texted this to everyone on Friday. You were supposed to be here an hour ago.” I felt super bad because I hate making mistakes like this and missing my shifts, and in any other situation I would have rushed down there, but I was in the middle of a zoom training for my new job that didn’t end until 1:30. So I said “I can’t come in until 2, I have training until the

[Kickstarter watching] Project Phoenix, the rise and fall of Kickstarter's FIRST Japan-based video game project!

Full disclosure, I'm a backer for this. I've also backed a number of other games on KS and most of them actually did really well (Bloodstained yay!).

Something I love doing from time to time is going through video game Kickstarter projects to see what cool things developers might be coming up with. Some turn out okay, others, well, not so okay.

KS project deaths can be be quick and brutal and some would-be creators know when to call it quits when things don't work out. Some move on or find another way to see their dream project realized making lemonade out of lemons. Some don't.

The ones that linger can mutate, becoming a shambling mass of what-could-have-been occasionally moaning a hint of whatever former life it may have once had to anyone within earshot, prodded by the pulse of the occasional update haunting email inboxes.

Project Phoenix is one of the latter.

A few helpful terms:

The neighborhood hoarder finally cleaned up his yard. I think he was making room for a cult.

In every little slice of suburbia, quietly tucked away in those “cute neighborhoods” referenced in the real estate pamphlets, there is always THAT house. You know the one. The “shit show.”

Welcome to Saddle Downs. At one time the best neighborhood in town, but now amongst the perfectly manicured lawns and driveways with nary a spot of oil leakage, an unholy abomination that looks like an episode of Hoarders made sweet love to Fred Sanford’s bread and butter elicits sighs and dramatic eye rolling from all who reside here. They wonder out loud “how someone who can afford to buy here could live in that kind of mess. Of all the damned nerve!”

Standing in the driveway--garden hose in hand and meticulously rinsing my yard tools, I surveyed my crab grass outbreak with disdain and BOILED under the surface about what he’s done to this once beautiful collection of domiciles. I know the property values here have completely gone to shit. How could they not? And it’s ME who has to live DIRECTL

[WTS/WTT] Spyderco Bombshell [B]

Catch and Release for me. This knife is too pretty and I will never use it.

Complete album here -- https://imgur.com/a/ZDlE8fs

I just received it an hour ago, shaved a dime sized patch of hair on my arm and said "hmm" and put it back in its pouch. I want something different that I won't be afraid to mess up. This was my first Flash Batch purchase, but I really just like to utilize my knives.

I am willing to sell or trade. For sale, I would like to see what I paid which was $350. I bought this off of the swap about 4 days ago. I will also include a bonus little freebie knife from my budget collection.

For trades, I would love to see a fully modded Bugout, a limited PM2, maybe an Osbourne...I really don't know so feel free to offer whatever for trade. I am an EDC whore, so most things will probably interest me. I am totally open to trades + cash (on your end) and also open to mult
