Images, posts & videos related to "Lunch Near Me"
I go to lunch in a couple of hours and would like to bust a nut for lunch. If anyone doesn't mind me watching them, I would love to nut to any of you. Please PM/Chat me quick if interested. Thank you!
I used to be super picky up until a few years ago. I didn't pay much attention to Taco Bell because the closest one was a about a 15 minute drive on the other end of town. I never had an excuse to go all the way down there unless I really wanted a taco.
But then they built one on main street about 5 minutes away so I started trying everything. All the boxes, the LTOs, menu items I wouldn't even think about before because they had beans, tomatoes, and sour cream. Now they're all good and now....I'm bored.
I go to TB on almost every lunch break at work, but now I don't even know what I want. A giant box of nachos? No thanks. Everything else on our fast food main street makes my stomach hurt the rest of the shift and is generally more expensive than TB. Gonna have to go back to packing lunches until they come out with something new :(

It was very civil engineeringβ¦
I usually have 35-45 mins for lunch.
I was just at my local bashes eating lunch. There was a group of people at the table near me, all of whom were getting up there in the age department. They were just hanging out, laughing, having a good time with their friends. I wasn't really paying attention until I caught the end of a conversation where in one of the men said to rest of the group
>"you can never be on top of the world if you're carrying it on your shoulders." Then he said "I'm going to tell that to my grand children so they know to dream big."
It pretty much opened my eyes to how great life could be if you just don't let it weigh you down. It got me wondering if anyone else had a similar moment of clarity just by listening in on someone elses discussion or catching the end of a conversation.
EDIT: okay, this guy totally hit the nail on the head and came up with the words i couldn't reach yet.
>I actually notice this feeling on occasion. When I stop stressing about deadlines and future plans and all the crud and just focus on what I can do, I feel lighter and happier.. It's rather fleeting though
That is exactly what I meant. That moment when you stop stressing and worrying and being anxious; it's fleeting but I appreciate it so much more because of it. Thank you icelizard. I hope I'm correctly understanding what you said there.
EDIT #2: Wow. I'm shocked how many people replied and by all the different interpretations of this quote. I'm also shocked by how many people took in a negative way because I don't know why or how what that man said could be negative. I guess it goes back to different people interpreting it in different ways. The way I understand it is that you can choose to be happy and successful and full of life and joy or you can let the weight of the world hold you down. It's your life, it's your choice. Make it count.
What the hell happened
Needless to say, I scuttled off like the abject coward I am.
I fear I may never come back...
It was very civil engineering.
