Gotta say, everybody's really bumming me out that my idea is unnecessary, depressing, dangerous, and a terrifying hellish nightmare waiting to drown, crush, or suffocate people.
I am pretty sure a lot of you experinced this and i am not the only one. On every team in every game there seem to be 1 or 2 players who frag out every game, hitting mostly headshots going 30/10/5 while the rest of the team seem to be getting destroyed with scores like 5/17/1.
Don't get me wrong, i am probably average at this game but i seem to have very unbalanced matches, and its not fun at all for both sides.
Having to frag every round because my teammates are playing their first shooter ever is not fun. And you are also moslty playing against one enemy who is decent at the game while his teammates are trash too...
Not only is playing like this frustrating because you have to perform all the time you also develop really bad habits from playing against lower skilled oponents all the time.
I won a lot of my unrated matches the last days but it doesnt even fell deserved from time to time, just because i have another good player on my team while every enemy is 2/7/1 after 10 rounds... keep reading on reddit ➡
READ THE POST RATHER THAN COMMENTING BASED ON AN UNEDITABLE TITLE
So I was curious about just how long it would take to hit level 50 on the battle pass so I decided to do the math out. It's all documented on this excel sheet. It includes fields for how many games you play per week and what percentage of missions you complete among other variables. It can predict based on how many games you play what tier of the battle pass you will get.
Important Note: “...The battlepass will take ~100 hours to complete. Weekly XP's also scale up in every week to smooth out the experience curves. Just to give you an idea, the first set of weeklies offer 28,350 total XP and the last set of weeklies offer 60,750 total XP...” -Riot dev below .
This post and the calculator have been edited to account for the new info from Riot. Overall, with all the known sources of xp, it comes out to 138 hours through the calc... keep reading on reddit ➡
It could start off at 30% reduction at level 1, maxes out at 50% on level 18. It gives champs the ability to heal without being overly suppressive, while also making it relevant to a certain degree in the late game.
For example, we have people like Sylas who have significantly more powerful healing early game, and the current grievous wounds feels oppressive against that. Compare this to a late game Red Kayn, who feels almost impossible to kill due to the consistent healing. Grievous can mitigate both by being more of a scaling stat than a solid percentage one.
Edit: thank you guys, I’m new to this sub and it’s so refreshing to have a civil debate with rational well-written replies for a change, rather than just insults etc
Edit 2: thanks again for all the replies. Please forgive me if you’ve written out a detailed response and I haven’t responded to it, it was a bit overwhelming to wake up from a short nap to find 80+ replies to try to discuss! Im terms of what ‘changed my mind’, it’s a strange one because my actual point probably comes across as a little blurry. Rather than specifically CMV, the majority of the replies helped me to feel less annoyed. I still feel annoyance at the inconsistency of world outrage, but this has been abated somewhat now that it’s been explained exactly why this is the case.
This has been stewing in my mind for a few days now, and it's finally started to p*ss me off with the blackedout Instagram gimmick today.
So firstly, I am naturally completely aghast at the r... keep reading on reddit ➡
A good example would be Khalil Mack in 2018. After the Bears gave him a 6-year, $141 million contract following a trade from the Raiders, he proceeded to not only have a great game in the loss vs Green Bay (sack, pick-six, forced fumble, fumble recovery), he had a Pro Bowl/First-Team All-Pro season that actually got him 5 votes for Defensive Player of the Year (Aaron Donald got the other 45) and helped take the Bears to the playoffs for the first time since 2010.
We really don't deserve 1.95% levels, especially for the TI10 and the world on crisis. A decade of supporting and following the game, 1.95% free levels feels so wrong. It feels like we're stealing 1.95% wealth of Lord Gaben, Valve and it's executives; especially the executives.
I know it's hard to say but, the dota 2 community doesn't deserve 1.95% levels. With the TI10 BattlePass full of evenly distributed generous rewards like Disco Balls, Hot Peppers,
(Ralai) (Rilai) (Rylia) Rylai spin and recycling through Sideshop, which are definitely not a scam and gambling.
How can the community have the audacity to complain and not be grateful of 1.95% more levels? How can they say TI10 BattlePass is a spendfest, pay to pay, and gambling when we got more 1.95% more levels?
To be honest, the community deserve less immortal treasures, a shorter version of temporary ^(ceb) voice line for reaching or buying out for the prestigious level 100 reward, and more limited edition Arcana to not def... keep reading on reddit ➡
Shouldn't there be at least some relationship between sexual and personal/romantic compatibility?
I've had a partner who might have been the best I've ever had. He was an absolute stallion in bed : aggressive, dominant, and relentless. Sex with him sometimes felt like riding a rodeo bull and trying to hang on for dear life.
I also could barely tolerate him before or after sex. Not only did we barely have any common interests to talk about, we also struggled to see eye to eye on many topics as well, and on top of all that, he had a tendency to be overtly arrogant, too.
I had similar experiences in a reverse scenario. We get on very well, talk for hours on end without getting the slightest bit bored of each other, but when the time comes and we're in bed, naked, it all deflates as if it didn't feel like we were made for each other an hour before.
I just don't understand how can attraction work in ways this mysterious.
This AMA is now closed. Thank you everyone for the great discussion today. For more data on how the pandemic is affecting the US, check out our Coronavirus issues page: https://usafacts.org/issues/coronavirus/.
EDIT: We want to apologize for the misleading title of this AMA. While we are proud of our visualization showing coronavirus cases in the US, we want to recognize there are a number of other county-level visualizations out there. We want this AMA to focus on the data we have collected, which has been used by a number of entities including the CDC and the White House Coronavirus Task Force.
As coronavirus started to spread across the country earlier this year, measuring that spread proved nearly impossible. Without a single source tracking new cases at a granular level, understanding COVID-19’s growth would be difficult.
But gathering the resources to make a tracking map was also difficult. Local governments have disparate methods for collecting and repo... keep reading on reddit ➡
I can talk for hours about the tudors and Henry V big up the battle of Hastings but why am I only learning about so many important historical events from British history in my adulthood! OK I will say the plague/Samuel peyps thing has made a comeback though.
Edit: I get through the comments that teachers are limited by time and set curriculum, I'm more just interested in what subjects interest you and what you would have liked to have been taught or should be included now
Mario odyssey is really my first 3D platformer. I suck at controls so badly in other games. Especially platformers. Precise movements arent my strong suit.
I finished the main story in around 5 hours according to the Switch profile. It probably took me around 6-7 hours. I've never really played a platformer before other than wandering around in Mario 64 DS.
The controls are really good. They're snappy, easy to use and easy to remember. All of the joycon moves aren't required so that's also good.
The music is amazing. The graphics are super.
And if you struggle on a boss battle, I did near the end, you can buy power hearts for 50 coins.
I really want to try other 3D platformers. Any suggestions? That Lucky tale one looks pretty good (Tried the demo) and so does Yooka Laylee.
Edit: My switch updated itself after I played a little Splatoon and Mario odyssey actually took me 10 hours.
My wife is pregnant with our first child so I'm stepping up my joke game to reach dad level.
Mother's day was not so long ago, and since she isn't a mother yet but only a future mother, I didn't get her flowers I only got her seeds, which are future flowers.
At least I found it hilarious and so did she. Hope you guys enjoy this!
Each perk costs 100/150/200 Perk Coins to upgrade. You get 1 perk coin by scrapping a Perk Card. If it's a golden card you get 5x the reward. I scrapped literally everything I owned, including every equipped perk and spent the perk points I had spare to scrap more cards. I think I had roughly 1500 total coins for scrapping everything. link to 3 fully upgraded perks
And the perks did literally nothing.
Both the grind for these perks is awful and the perks themselves add nothing to gameplay.
On top of that each upgrade only adds 10% to each explosive perk. 20% chance to cause an explosion AFTER I kill the thing is not a good perk.
This is a disaster. Hopefully they see the feedback and can make changes somehow.

100,000:1 ratio for XP to strength points. 10+20+30 strength points to get to level 3. XP chart here for levels: ( https://escapefromtarkov.gamepedia.com/Character_skills ).
I throw the occasional grenade, I've gotten in some melee fights. I've done some running around overweight and some lighter rounds. I've also been playing since 0.6 and I have hit level 40 one time.
With this information, it is clear that I will have to cheese strength in order to upgrade my vents to level 3. I did it last wipe and it took a whole day and honestly that's not worth it at this point. I can't understand why BSG hasn't removed this requirement yet. Its not even a "slight" gameplay modification to get us to try other stuff, its just "cheese or no hideout for you".
