First time posting here, so I hope I'm doing it right:
My book, Awfully Appetizing, is going to be available for free for the next year. Unfortunately, setting it up the way I wanted was harder than I expected. Basically you take this link:

Awfully Appetizing is an adult oriented urban fantasy story with a ghoul protagonist. It's the first book in a series, and I'm making the first book free as a way to promote the second and third, which are out now.
I hope you'll read my book. Thank you for your time.
first this is the first recommendation I have read from reddit wasn’t a direct rec just came up in a another thread either here or over on r/urbanfantasy cant remember for sure I don’t read a whole lot of indie stuff simply because it can be hard to separate the dross from the gold but since joining r/Fantasy i have added a whole lot of new indie authors to my tbr list and having found the last few weeks particularly tough its been nice to find such a lovely bunch of people who are as passionate about fantasy as i am thank you.

The author: apart from publishing 3 installments of the corpse taker saga I couldn’t out a whole lot about Them they publish a book every two years and thats About for what’s it worth I think it’s someone writing the urban fantasy they want to read and publishing it simply because they have it written anyway though that’s just my guess.
The premise: Walter runs a funeral home, Walter is also a Ghoul and not a sexed up glamorous version but a road kill eating, auto erotic asphyxiation type of monster possessing mandibles that, when revealed sound very like the reapers mouths on blade 2. As you can guess this series isn’t for everyone the first book is especially off putting as the author mixes in a bit too much shock value at times in one way it’s actually very traditional the author isn’t putting a new spin on things so much as Switching perispectives from the usual top of the food chain to one of the most despised members of the supernatural community, Walter is even more of a pariah because he was raised by humans the only reason he is still alive because his services are needed to clean up after the supernatural world problems that and the fact that Ghouls are a good bit tougher and stronger then most of the supernatural world knows.
theres a good bit of pitch black humor in the series also rough patches aside Walter is actually a mostly decent person if a bit of a grinch which is more readily apparent as you move away from book one and the writer does some really interesting things not least of which pointing out that Walter for all of his myriad of disgusting habits is only following his biology he was never human while the traditional “Sexy“ UF protagonists werewolves and vampires, in the series called crotch sniffers and neck biters by Walter, are former humans who have no problem canni... keep reading on reddit ➡
