So - I havenโt been here for long admittedly (18 months) but despite the problems within the country I always try and defend it to others.......thereโs so much good here......
But I think I might have just hit my brick wall :(. My wife and two children (aged 4 and 3) were on tourist visas due to my wifeโs company refusing to sponsor her when they came. So when Covid hit they had to leave. I havenโt seen them for nine months.
I found out about the emergency Coronovirus panel issuing visas in emergencies so made an application in November to bring them back so I can put them under my sponsorship!
I found out two weeks ago that their visa had been approved! We were so happy and started making our plans for them to return and me to hug my children again. theyโre so different to when I last saw them.....
But alarm bells started to ring when I went to pick up my Visa only to keep being told itโs not ready itโs not ready! I started to worry.
So today I was told the bad news! Due to the change in ministers the Visa has been torn up. Because it had the wrong ministerโs name on it. So do they just print a new one? No. I have to start the whole four month process again and make a new application with no guarantee it will be expected.
So I get over my tears and try to make a new application. I canโt. because thereโs โalready an application on the systemโ.
I mean - honestly. How can something like this even happen in modern life?
I am trying to bite my tongue but needed to vent. Itโs so crazy :(

Hey so long story short Iโm not in the best headspace at the moment and I googled overdose related questions and the kuwait suicide hotline popped up. Is it legit? I havenโt heard of a suicide hotline here. Has anyone ever called it? What will happen when I do? I think I just need to talk to someone I donโt want cops to come to my house or be sent to a hospital I just want someone to validate my problems so I donโt off myself.
