Title says it pretty much, but I going to go into a bit more detail:
No you should not carry a knife for self defense.
You should carry a knife, wether it is a swiss army knife, a fixed blade knife, a folding knife, or even a grandpa style knife because they are all tools, not weapons.
You should go to Walmart, buy a swiss army style knife for around 5-10$ throw it in your purse or in your pockets and forget about it. But having that tool on you will get you out of a lot of troubles where a pair of scissors would be needed.
Make sure it stays sharp too, the worst thing to cut yourself with is a dull knife.
My name is Nicolas. I had the opportunity to join the VALORANT team this summer as a VFX Artist intern. I worked on the Reaver collection, the team let me design and create the finisher and knife VFXs from scratch! Hope you enjoy the skin so far, I had a blast working on it, and tried to make it look as epic as possible :D
I'll be joining the team again next summer for another internship, to craft more exciting VFXs!
In the meantime you can follow me on twitter to see more of my work :)
You can literally right click the knife right on someone's fucking head and it will just phase right through them.
I've never played a video game with a more bizarre hitbox than the knife's right click. Landing it require some kind of arcane knowledge of 4-dimensional quantum states.
Can't the devs make the animation make more sense?
You can literally point blank smash someone in the face with the knife and nothing happens.
