It comes with Gateron Silent Browns, which cost extra. I quite like them - a shame the board isn't a hotswap or I'd keep them!

PCB mount switches: (none of them ever seen solder)
I am new to PC but i have some of the basics down for changing my keyboards colors. i have a set pink and blue fixed pattern i like but every time i play csgo it turns to a reactive ugly patter. for example when i die it slowly blinks red, on the home screen it’s white and while playing the game it changes contrasted colors with random letters lighting up. WTF is wrong with it?
PS: i downloaded the software for my keyboard i just don’t think i know how to use them.
So 6 of my keys dont work cuz i spilt water aver my keyboard Its a hyperx alloy fps pro and i was thinking of buying new switches and just replacing the ones that dont work Will this fix my keyboard
I currently have the Razer Ornata chroma and have been using it for nearly six months now. I have not had much issues with it other that it being loud. I kind of found that annoying so looked into some other keyboards, and thus I found a really good deal for the original K70 RGB. Now I’m stuck between buying it or not. I know that there is a huge age difference between the two (the K70 being 6 years old), but one is mechanical and the other is membrane. I like a keyboard that has somewhat good RGB, and I know especially that the Ornata chroma has fluid RGB lighting however I do not mind if the K70 has a small gap with RGB quality.
I really need some help choosing one ASAP as the deal for the K70 will end soon.
I'm having someone solder it up for me, but I must provide the kit or the parts of the keyboard. Since I'm new to all this, I'd like to get a recommended build from you guys. This is what I would prefer in my keyboard -cherry mx brown switches -65% layout compacted -doesn't have to be hotswappable but would be cool if so -transluscent white case but am fine with regular ones -case to be durable and a bit heft to it so it doesn't move around on my desk -case preferably white (or whatever would look nice on white or vintage keycaps which I will be purchasing later)
Some keyboard layouts I really like are the Leopold FC660 with the arrow keys integrated into the board and its two little keys on the side
Also the vortex race 3, I like the way it is compacted.
I really just want a small keyboard with the arrow keys included, I could live without the page up, page down, etc.
Hey there. Does anyone know of an RGB membrane keyboard where individual keys can change color on key press? Thanks
I am looking for leads on a keyboard for programming mainly for raspberry pi. I would like it to to be wireless, mechanical and be 60% plus arrow keys to navigate through scripts and recall command line functions. If anyone knows any good options I’d love to hear them and research them.
Hello! I've been looking for cheap mechanical keyboards and In my country I don't have much choice There's a store that is really into redragon with great prices
Since my mouse is a Redragon (M711 Cobra) I think a matching keyboard would be perfect
Unfortunately I can't seem to find much red or black or brown equivalents switches. Most are blue and I really dont like the sound of blue switches.
Any idea if there's any cheap mechanical redragon keyboard with quiet switches?
One of my coworkers have a keyboard with the page up/down like this, and we cant find a newer one and they dont sell this anymore any ideas of keyboards that might look like this?
Basically title, looking for a 65% hotswap kit or keyboard under 200 dollars. RGB is preferred, but definitely optional. Thanks in advance!
Hi! Keyboards are not so popular as gaming mice and I couldn't fine any keyboards recommendation. I dont want to spend more than 100€ but I want some qualitity. I play FPS and League of Legends. Hope you can help me!
Yesterday my keyboard broke (letter C was not working)
Im broke now and i need any ok keyboard
i want it for gaming
when i try to hold a key to repeat that key; the keyboard only puts for 1s and dont rerpeat moar; for example when i try to repeat the "e" only put eeeeeeeeeeeee and stop; i want to put the key to the infinite example eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...
I conect the keyboard by a ps2/usb convertor
I had this old Dell membrane keyboard for years and now I want to change it for good, but I frustrated to find a keyboard to my likings, any suggestions?
Here’s my requirements:
•It’s TKL •Floating key design •Decent build quality •RGB or white back lighting •Below 120CAD after tax
Thanks a lot if you can help me!
Is there one that exists?
hey guys ive been using the razer ornata vor 3 years now and i really wanna buy a new one. i dont want it to be too expensive (around 100 euros), TKL (not 60% or smth), rgb, clean design and a software if possible. i was thinking about the huntsman TE but its a lil too expensive, also thinking about a ducky tkl keyboard but im just not sure any reccomendations?
On a regular computer keyboard, you can only press a certain number of keys before the keyboard stops sending the outputs. Are there keyboards where you can press any number of keys without the output being truncated? If so, where can I buy them?
Looking for suggestions foe what I guess is a mechanical compact keyboard.
Number of keys, ie 60 to 80%, don't really care.
Right now the Corsair k63 clicks all the boxes:
My current keyboard is a logitech k360... I'm brand agnostic....whatever works
Its perfect in size: approx <15" length x <6"width
No real need for tenkey keys
Looking for a solid quality mechanical keyboard. Around $150 AUD, any suggestions or hard recommendations. Been recommended corsair k70. But am open to any suggestions :)
Right now I'm using a dell keyboard, the specific model is this one. I really like typing and playing games on it but my one issue with it is the ghosting. I can't press more than a few keys at a time and any more just doesn't register. All I'm really looking for is a keyboard with similar keys and what not but with anti-ghosting. I believe the key style is a chiclet key and when I take off the keys, there's like a rubber dome thing underneath. Thank you for the help.
I use mostly for gaming, but also work, for the switches I already know what I want I just need a quality keyboard that last long under 80$ Thanks!
I’m looking for a really good 60% keyboard I prefer a white keyboard and a software for the rgb. It doesn’t need software I just like being able to customize it through that.
Can anyone recommend a keyboard that is wireless, backlit, non-mechanical, and has the numpad?
Budget isn't a problem. Thanks!
I just got one of those fancy programmable keyboards (amazonbasics) that has keys that can be customized to do other functions. Problem is my computer at work doesn't allow me to download the driver to program those keys. If I were to program the keys at home on another computer, would those changes be saved to the keyboard and still be there when I take it in to work?
So my first experience with a mechanical keyboard isn't going so well. I've had the damn thing for only like 4 months and I'm already getting keychattering. And by the looks of it, a lot of other keyboards have it...
So can someone recommend me a brand or even a model of keyboard that isn't known for having this issue? Price isn't much of an issue if it means I'm getting something of quality.
Hi /r/keyboard! As the title says, I'm trying to figure out what such a basic keyboard is called so I can try to procure one for a specific use. Thanks in advance!
Currently I use a Leopold FC980M MX Brown at work. I really like it but after two years I have started to get quite serve pain in wrists and even more in my fingers, I'm a quite heavy typist. Yesterday I saw Logitechs new ergonomic keyboard and I'm thinking about buying it and keep the Leopold at home for gaming instead. What is your take? What is more ergonomic? I have a feeling that the Logitech is perhaps to big, fullsize keypad increases the distance to the mouse for example. Maybe the Microsoft Sculpt is better?
- comfortable usage on both Mac and Windows (for example extra WIN + CMD keystrokes)
- usable for gaming and writing too
- Hungarian layout (important!)
- no numpad (I need a small keyboard)
I'd choose this one, but the layout is US only: https://www.keychron.com/products/keychron-k2-mechanical-keyboard
Thanks for help!
Hey guys and gals, I love the feel of the Microsoft Modern Surface keyboards (link below), but I need something that's in black and is both wired and wireless, any recommendations?
( https://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-EKZ-00001-Modern-Keyboard-Fingerprint/dp/B072QZ8B2P/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=Microsoft+Modern+Keyboard&qid=1578219044&s=electronics&sr=1-3#customerReviews )
is there any software that lets me assign
function to any key on a generic mechanical keyboard?
(like if i press 1 twice quick it will act as any other key of my liking, like say G)
I got the HV-KB390L because what I wanted was a low profile keyboard with 87 keys and a fully standard layout:
Basically the keyboard above is perfect, except it turns out I really don't like mechanical (even these low profile) keys. They're loud and have way more travel than I prefer. Honestly I'd prefer a chiclet keyboard but I think that may be asking a bit much. I don't care about backlighting, wireless, or that sort of thing. I don't need a "gaming" keyboard. I currently use the MS Sculpt and it would be totally fine except I hate the weird function/escape keys and the weird right hand layout.
I've searched all over trying to find what I want but tenkeyless keyboards seem to always end up being mechanical. Does anyone know of a keyboard that would m... keep reading on reddit ➡
So, I have owned a laptop for the last years. I recently built a pc and I thought I sould switch to a mechanical keyboard. I bought a "used" logitech g810 and the experience was awful. Should I sell it and buy an other keyboard like the microsoft desktop 900 or should I keep it and try to get used to it?
Also the "e" key does not work very well
I'm looking for a keyboard that I can use for both my work computer (Windows HP Elitebook) and my personal MacBook Air... I can get some PC parts at a discount via my employer and I would love to get into PC gaming as well (been a competitive Halo player on Xbox for years, and the new game will be on PC). Ideally, it would be able to have wireless connectivity (either Bluetooth or 2.4hz) as well as the full number pad, 104 keys, and backlit would be awesome. Can I please get some recommendations? I'd like to keep it under $100 if possible...
I tried a Gamesir GK300 and I actually really liked the mechanical keys and it could switch between Mac OS and Windows - but the Bluetooth never worked properly on either of my laptops and the wireless dongle broke in my backpack... tried to get Gamesir to replace it with a new one or even just hook me up with another dongle but the customer service has never responded :/
I'm currently trying out a Corsair K57 - I thought it was mechanical (I kno... keep reading on reddit ➡
Hey guys! I'm looking for brown mx switches keyboard for my boyfriend. He has mentioned 3 brands and I found this on Best Buy BUT I have no clue if this is good or not?! Just need some help 😊 thanks everyone!
Here is the link to the keyboards I found:
I'm recently getting into pc building and I just want to ask your opinion(s) about the best $50-$80 RGB mechanical keyboard. Preferably full-sized and, romer-g tactile or cherry mx brown. Any thoughts?
I hope I'm in the right subreddit but I got a keyboard literally half an hour ago and for some reason whenever I try to change the brightness of the keyboard it just goes to a random app on my computer, could someone explain why it isn't working for me? Like do I have to reset something or what?
so I broke the spacebar of my cheap membrane keyboard cleaning it. it still works and al but I think i will get a new one. I don’t really care about how it looks, what is a reliable and good quality keyboard for around 100 euro?
Or is it better to safe some more money and go for a more expensive one?
I mean, I've never seen them on this subreddit. I understand that mechanical switches are more common, but there has to be a chiclet style switch out there somewhere for someone to use in a build, right? Or are they really just a specially made type of thing?
Looking for a reliable bluetooth keyboard that isn't too small. Preferably <$70/80.
My sister has a Nulaxy keyboard, but I've found that it's too small to type on comfortably. I've looked around, and it seems that many of the popular ones have issues that are fairly major. Any recommendations are welcome, I'm open to folding BT keyboards but it's not a requirement.
I'm a programmer so type for a living. I got in an accident and can't use my wrist. I normally use a straight mechanical keyboard but i can't type like this. I need something that will allow me to type with complete immobility in my one wrist. Recommendations?
I was only interested on it based on the fact that it is wireless, the aesthetic and the style of keys (Is that what they call low travel?).
Do you know of a cheaper keyboard similar to it?
I guess hezsjkfowgajqjhsjwkwlsvvcaxxacfasuoc
I got a Microsoft 4000 ergonomic keyboard. There is one thing that annoys is and that is just how loud the spacebar is even after removing the metal support wire. And considering how often you have to press it..... So are there any good ergonomic keyboards that don't have space bars so loud it wakes up the whole neighborhood?
I bought a HyperX Alloy FPS Rbg and Pulsefire Surge, but 3 months later i ask for a refund because of key chattering & click releasing.
So i would like a good mech keyboard + a mouse for 150-200$ total
I wanted to try razzer with the Blackwidow Elite and the Deathadder but i don't know if this will be a very good choice...
And i heard about the "ducky channel" but i don't really know this brand, i'm kind of new in the mech community o/
Also if i would go over my price limit i would maybe go with a Logitech G Pro Wireless**,** but that's really overkill in my opinion, and i think that a 50$ mouse can do the same (but with a wire :p )
After seeing how sad, defeated, and embarrassed Jessica looked at the reunion, I’m very concerned for her mental health. It must have been very difficult for her to show up at the reunion knowing how much backlash she’s received online. She said it was hard watching everything back.
We have to remember that this is TV, and this was a strange process that took place over a matter of DAYS. We’ve all said and done things that we weren’t proud of, but luckily we weren’t filmed!
She owned up to her actions, she’s apologized, and I believe she’s learned from this experience. That’s all she can do! Let’s not add to any more negativity that’s she’s already received!
All I ask of you all is to please consider her mental health, same thing for Carlton! They are people with feelings too! 💕
