I realize it's quite close to Halloween to be offering some of these up but I figured might as well.
These are a mix of leather and acrylic mostly :) I love these because it means the earrings weigh hardly anything. I also have a couple of pieces made of wood to add, just don't have photos of them yet.
Bonus points for any standard poodle themed items :) <3
I took my jewelry out once, and could NOT get it back in for the life of me. I ended up having to my piercer for help, but she told me I needed a taper. She didn’t have any in stock at the time, but I finally just got one from her.
HOW do I do this? Any advice at all? I’m traumatized from not being able to get it back in last time, lol. It had closed slightly and basically felt like it was getting re-pierced. 🥴
This scammer is all over the place....
The family with baby girl pulled over next to my car while I was pumping the air on my tires and asked if I can help them to fill up the gas since they lost everything including his wallet and luggage while traveling.
The guy had gold 18k rings and necklaces on him and saying he is actually rich but need a cash to pump the gas and feed a baby. He asked me if I can offer anything including cash or pump gas on his car and exchange with his jewelry so he can go back to his town and send me the money back. He called my number and asked to send him my home address so he can mail the check or cash.
Because of their accent and not being familiar with Queens area in NYC unfortunately I fell for it.
His acting with teary eyes got me ended up pumping his car with my credit card. He used his baby daughter to pull me into his lie and it actually worked pretty well since I have a daughter too. I thought I could do anything for my daughter too if I was in same situation.
I told my wife about what happened earlier and she found people online who met same family and ended up giving them $$$ just a day before. They gave them couple of hundreds $$$.
During this Thanks giving Holiday they are using people with good Samaritan mind against their scam to steal the money.
Reading this story is very much different than when you actually see it in front of you.
Please be aware this trick and DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM.
Please if you are asked for a help Never give them a cash or buy the gas for them.
Please take a picture of their face and car and report to police right away.
If they are rich and have a smartphone they can do anything with Apple or Google pay.
Please share this story and spread to innocent people out there.
Hope this helps......
My post history is pretty thorough with the types of things I can do but I’m happy to work with anyone who might be interested :)
Thanks to u/littlelivethings for sending me a beautiful box!

THE NOCTURNAL VAULT Necklace
Description from The Nocturnal Vault etsy shop --
These pieces are truly one of a kind! Curiosities and crystals are captured in handcrafted resin pendants paired with real antique and vintage findings and chains, circa 1890s-1960s. I also include orgonite pendants, a type of energy-harnessing material made of quartz, copper, and other crystals trapped in resin, based on the theories of psychoanalyst Wilhelm Reich.
Flowers and fungi are all foraged from central Texas. Insects and other animal parts used in my jewelry are humanely sourced.
I've been wearing the necklace and loving it, also super tempted by the cool insect pendant necklaces in the shop!
Thank you u/littlelivethings for your attention to all the details and your effort in picking out these scents and so many other goodies for me. You have excellent taste!
This was my first fall exchange and such a good experience both putting together a package and receiving this glorious array.
So I ordered a ring from Kohl’s.com and it came used, bent, and corroded (oh and late). Please give me some good news. Can I exchange it for a different style? I already know my store doesn’t have the one I ordered.
I just recently got into wearing jewelry and thought an exchange for it would be fun
Every man should know this.
You save up a fair chunk of change for your lovely little lady. You get a sense of her style, go to a jeweler, and find something that you like, and think she'll really like. You gift it, she really appreciates the gesture, but maybe something feels off a week later.
The shape, the style, maybe the color or materials. Does it match what she has in her mind? The wedding dress in her mind that she's scrapbooking? If she's super polite, she might not say anything. If she's rude, she might even bitch about it.
Now, I'm not talking about budget, and of course if she really puts up a stink about your gesture then that's a whole set of red flags. I'm talking about being thoughtful enough to get her exactly the style and shape she wants, and to prevent any friction you might experience in the process.
Flip this around. Imagine you want Bonestorm, but end up with Lee Carvallo's Putting Challenge. You might be nice enough to thank her and shrug it off, but imagine having to Lee Carvallo's face on your finger forever.
But what about tradition? Screw tradition. I'd rather have happiness and logic.
Get a receipt, don't ever sign anything making the ring permanently your property, and don't do anything custom, like engraving or making a new ring from scratch. Give her the gift, and a short time after, make sure she knows. Sample text:
> "I know this ring will be yours for a very long time, and I wanted to make sure it's exactly what you want. This ring, now, is a symbol. I've scheduled an appointment with the jeweler, and next Saturday, we're going to go ring shopping. You're free to keep this one, of course, and I'm looking forward to seeing how close I got."
I was more or less interested to know if this falls under a particular labor law or something like it?
Permission from mods to post ofc.
