My (29f) parents have always been in financial trouble, something that I have never been able to understand because they both have a really generous salary (more than three times my own). Because of these financial troubles, my auns, uncles, and grandma have had over the years to lend them money, we were evicted a couple of times (that I know), we have had the water, the electricity and the internet cut... Many things that over the years I admit have affected my emotional and mental health.
All of this has made my relationship with my parents very difficult over the years, more when they would take advantage of me making me pay for many things with the money that I earned working during holidays to pay for college or making me call my grandma to ask her for money, all of it while my mum used to spend money whenever she could in purses or jewellery .
In the moment I became an adult because they started to sign on the bills under my name without my permission mostly because their credi... keep reading on reddit ➡
I just wanna vibe with people around my age and sometimes this place is cool but there are way too many horny 14 year olds for me to be comfortable.
To all my non-hornyposters here: You're cool. I like you. Big up, homie.
My brother got a 5 years jail sentence but is coming out soon, a few months ago he decided to learn to code with no prior experience.
I find the way he is studying very inspirational so decided to post his (simple) program.
But first, here is what he needs to go through to learn:
The crazy part is up until a few days ago he didn't have access to a computer. However! another inmate has an upcoming trial and because the contents of his trial contain to many papers, they provided this inmate with a simple laptop (no internet).
My brother is not allowed to touch this laptop and he can only see this inmate 1 hour a day, so he convinced the inmate to sit next to him for my brother to tell him what to type, the other inmate types in the... keep reading on reddit ➡
Everyone talks about their crazy ex. Mine was actually criminally crazy.
She was ex military and sober when we dated. Things started going off the rails when I said I loved her. She thought I was full of shit, and I probably was, although I didn't know it at the time. It was one of the low points of my life in general, so I was looking for anything to feel a little better.
One time she called the police on me when I was living in a motel room after I threatened to call them on her for not leaving. She claimed that I hit her. Thankfully, the police didn't believe her and one of them literally told me to 'stay away from the crazy ones.' I still don't know how I lucked out, because generally I'd assume I'd have at least been charged. One thing that helped is she wasn't so fully committed as to have bashed her face into the door or something.
After I finally moved to a new place, she called me with a sob story saying she was sorry etc, but it turns out she just wanted to know where my... keep reading on reddit ➡
I found this odd. I could tell that you’d never end up in it, because Diamond City Security made no attempt to arrest me after I got caught stealing a Nuka Cola. They immediately started shooting at me.
Why bother taking the time to put a jail in-game if Security (AND THE CITIZENS!) all try to murder you to death over a fucking ridiculously flat soda?!
This is on the level of killing chickens in Skyrim. 😂
Edit: A few of you guys are taking this a little too seriously.
My grandparents just called me to see if I'd answer, and ask me if I'm ok. Which is strange. Yes, I'm fine, working from home, why?
They explained they just received a call from a girl who was crying and she sounded just like me. She called them Grandma and Grandpa, and she explained that her friend Amanda died in a car accident yesterday, so she and a friend flew to Miami for the funeral. She booked an Uber, she and her friend put their suitcases in the trunk, and they left the airport. Then they were pulled over by the cops, who searched the trunk and going 2lbs of marijuana. The driver said "it's not mine, everything in the trunk is theirs". Which is how the scammer pretending to be me ended up in jail in Miami, and she needs $13,750.00 in cash delivered to a local bail bondsman so that he can send it to her lawyer so that they can pay an "appearance fee" in front of a judge, otherwise the scammer will spend the next 6-8 weeks in jail waiting for a hearing.
They said the girl wh... keep reading on reddit ➡
Back in October 2019, I was sexually assaulted by an old man in a Duncan donuts, while it was not rape, it was still bad enough to where it can be considered sexual assault, basically the cameras show him eying me from the moment I entered the store and waiting for my mom to leave, he then follows me around and waits for me to order, after I get my donuts and coffee he comes behind me and grabs my lower back, saying some very suggestive things to me as he tries to shrimp down lower, reaching around my waist, I am frozen in fear and shock for a few seconds after he does this and am still processing what happened when my dad comes to get me, after I tell him him and my mom are horrified and call the police who later get the security footage, they are able to track him down and interview him, I was supposed to testify in court this summer, before this whole COVID thing happened, so I don’t know how we are going to get him locked up.
TLDR: creepy old pedophile who touched me might be get... keep reading on reddit ➡
This one is from about a year ago. My youngest sister Candice is entitled as hell and childish to. It all started one day...
My dear sister was once again being an entitled bitch. She went to a coffee shop, asked for the coffee that was her favorite ( she now refuses to drink it), they didn't have the kind she wanted. So she ordered a different one after calling the teenage barista a whore and didn't like it so naturally she spit it on the floor and said it was "tampered with" but she watched the girl make it. The barista replied I'm very sorry you didn't like it ma'am. Therefore Candice the Karen screamed at her DONT CALL MY MA'AM YOU LITTLE BITCH IM BARELY OLDER THAN YOU. barista replied I'm sorry I was trying to be polite. My sister scoffs and damands a manager.
barista goes and gets the manager. And Candice goes behind the counter and starts TAKING COFFEE STUFF, I shit you not. The manager comes out says you can't be back here it's a matter of safety and food and drink safety... keep reading on reddit ➡
