This happened today and I will continue to stop it from happening. Some people need more time to speak. Be respectful but don't let it slide.
For example, you can say "Can we please stop speaking over each other, l would like to go back to person -insert name- and let them finish their thought." Good luck.
Also a pretty nice coast. Feels like Numenor to me
PS. No. I dont know yet how solid this is. So use the usual metric ton of salt
Anyone else having their inputs often not go through?
Playing with strikers or chainblades, attack inputs far too often don't register, and result in me executing a wrong combo or in the case of the chain blades, just standing still rather than swinging the blade for an interrupt. Not sure what prompts it either:
- It can happen without a Behemoth, as I've tried spamming left-click on strikers and once in a while the character will stand idle through multiple presses.
- It's not a matter of me mistakenly pressing while another action is ongoing, given the previous example, and as multiple times already my character has stood still when commanded to swing the chainblade
- Sometimes my character seems to be stuck within a downed behemoth? and will start lightly wiggling, at which point I can't attack at all and have to adjust my position.
- Some behemoths, those that create objects, drop my framerate substantially and aggravate missed inputs. Framerate drops happened on my previous computer, years ago, and on a new one after returning to the game now. Mind you, this laptop runs Cyberpunk smoothly. Pangar, Winterhorn Skraev, Stormclaw are examples.
This makes acquiring all mantras with the strikers often very frustrating, especially the middle one that requires a particular input order. Otherwise, it ruins normal combos too, with inputs in the middle or end not registering and resetting the combo; happens a lot with the striker heavy combo. Input not going through when trying for an interrupt is fucking aggravating.
My boyfriend always interrupts me when I talk.
Today when we were laying in bed, I started to speak about the workouts I did earlier this morning. I went like, first I did lat pull down, then I did horizontal row, and then I did step ups.. and he cut me off again saying it's not important I don't wanna know..
I felt very upset and confronted him it is not nice to not let me finish. He said I am boring and there's no need to be upset about it. I said to him part of being a good partner is to be a good listener no? I feel my presence is not being appreciated, and it makes me sad.
Is he a bad partner?
Had to make this post because I notice when reading the official post on Zhongli buffs, I notice that there is no mention on the increase resistance to interruption when holding E? Does anyone know if that would be implemented but just not mentioned or they completely scrap that buff?
It may seem small, but the buff for him to not being interrupting when casting his shield is quite important for someone who takes 2-3 seconds to cast.
This is on all browsers. No tor. No proxy. No WiFi. Cleared cache and power cycled phone. WTH is happening? Malware? How do I fixed this & how do I identify what/who is causing this?
Edit 1: Update I have reset network settings and cleared the history. Power cycled to no avail. Additionally, my wife has found this post and suggests that I let yaβll know that my definition of porn is not a modern one. In that, that website I was directed to showed a topless woman apparently wanting to date in addition to a pop up telling me to βPlease download CyberGhost VPN from the App Store and continue watching in safe modeβ
I will reset/restore everything eventually, as I have a lot to backup & donβt really use the cloud... or any other features of convenience/complication. I donβt feel comfortable signing into my Apple ID at this point. As of this writing, it appears that this hack/malware occurred when I clicked on a video on Reddit that was suppose to direct me to a Steve Martin video on YouTube. The thread was discussing him getting the covid vaccine if that matters any. Iβll update again from my new flip phone ;)
Depending on the mechanics of her resistance buff, this particular buff could potentially be game-changing for her optimal damage rotation.
I'm not familiar with the mechanics of interruption resistance - whether or not there are different magnitudes to the buff or if it's a single non-stacking buff.
A lot of the theory crafting is assuming that she wants to stay below 50% HP, but her ideal rotation may be to continue normal/ charge attacking while intentionally face tanking to bring her HP to below 50 without sacrificing DPS uptime. Her Q can then be used to heal off any damage taken with a huge damage ratio. Potentially even more unga bunga than Diluc.
What I was to discuss is: are the mechanics behind interruption resistance known? Does it stack with buffs like Xingqiu's E? Could she be prevented from being staggered even by Anemoboxer punch or Lawachurl ground pound?
She might not want shield users in her party at all, since it makes it difficult to bring her health back down after popping her Q, preventing it from using it at max ratio off cool down.
Hi everyone,
I'm considering applying for a PhD in law. I have one constraint, however. I have been called to the Bar. Some of you may know, to practice at the Bar, one needs to complete pupillage within five years of being called. This would be difficult for me to complete a PhD before pupillage would begin.
I'm wondering whether it is possible to interrupt a PhD to do a pupillage, and if so, how difficult it is.
There is no need to at this point to discuss whether a chambers would like to take on a PhD candidate that has interrupted their studies to become a pupil. Thanks!
I am looking for a game to play that has a large player base with massive mulitplayer elements such as classes/pvp/leveling. I have a very busy life so I would like to find a game that I can pick up and put down easily without being stuck in battles, etc. That being said, I don't have a whole lot of time for grinding. I really like the way you can level up in games like Eve Echoes, in which skills progress over time.
I've been hoping for this feature for so long because often times I'll play longer movies to watch and doze off too. But once a movie ends, that's it, just silence the rest of the night until I wake up and use the remote to restart the movie or pick another one. Isn't there anyone else that has this issue or wants this feature?
I have been studying everyday. Playing longer games to try to play the best game I can. I am at the point now where the first person to make a 'mistake' loses. But I feel as though I cannot make it through one, let alone two games, without an extreme disruption. It aggravates me to no end. I have so much time and energy invested in these games and to blunder one move or even miscalculate because I am getting asked how to copy and paste a picture, I cant do it anymore. I havent cried since I was a kid, and losing in chess from a blunder makes me want to cry with rage. I think I can't play unless I live by myself or can go somewhere once covid is done.
Cleary and Cleary's BCR, taken from Wu Teng Hui Yuan 13 > The master then recited, "A monk asked, 'What is the mind of an ancient Buddha?' The National Teacher said, 'Walls, tiles, and pebbles.' The monk said, 'Aren't walls, tiles, and pebbles inanimate?' The National Teacher said, 'That's right.' The monk said, 'And can they expound the Dharma, or not?' The National Teacher said, 'They are always expounding it clearly, without interruption.' The monk said, 'Why don't I hear it?' The National Teacher said, 'You yourself don't hear it, but you shouldn't hinder the one who does hear it.' The monk said, 'Who can hear it?' The National Teacher said, 'All the saints can hear it.' The monk said, 'Can you hear it too, Master?' The National Teacher said, 'I don't hear it.' The monk said, 'Since you don't hear it, how do you know that inanimate objects can expound the Dharma?' The National Teacher said, 'It's lucky I don't hear it; if I heard it, then I'd be equal to the saints and you wouldn't hear me expound the Dharma.' The monk said, 'Then sentient beings have no part in it.' The National Teacher said, 'I explain for sentient beings, not for the saints.' The monk said, 'How are sentient beings after they have heard it?' The National Teacher said, 'Then they are not sentient beings.' The monk said, 'What scripture is the "inanimate expounding the Dharma" based on?' The National Teacher said, 'Obviously if the words do not accord with the classics, it is not the talk of a gentleman: you have not read how the Avatamsaka Sutra says, "Lands expound it, sentient beings expound it, everything in the three times expounds it"?"'
> The master took leave of Kuei Shan and went right to Yun Yen; having quoted the preceding incident, he asked, "Who can hear inanimate objects expounding the Dharma?" Yun Yen said, "The inanimate can hear it." The master said, "Can you hear it, teacher?" Yun Yen said, "If I heard, you would not hear my expounding of the Dharma." The master said, "Why wouldn't I hear?" Yen raised his whisk and said, "Do you hear?" The master said, "No." Yen said, "You do not even hear my expounding of the Dharma; how could you hear the inanimate expounding the Dharma?" The master said, "What scripture contains the inanimate expounding the Dharma?" Yen said, "Haven't you read how the Amitabha Sutra says, 'Rivers, birds, trees, and forests all commemorate Buddha and Dharma."'

... keep reading on reddit β‘I can't be the only single parent with too many animals and clients calling me at all hours of the day/night, so I figured I'd ask if my general assumption is correct: GTAO is so focused on crews that striking out on my own (and never joining in a multiplayer mission) will severely limit progress, opportunities and items. The only way to get nicer things or get fun missions is to join/stick with a crew or join randoms in a crew-based mission. (I think I can also spend real-world money, but that's a non-starter; I'm asking about gameplay, not just buying a fancy weapon/car to do nothing with.)
Further, if I do start accumulating stuff, what happens to my character when I'm offline for a week or three? Can they get robbed by another player?
My hesitance with crews is I never know when or for how long I'll have free time to game. For GTAV (and all games, really) I'd start the game and play for five minutes, pause it/let it run in the background and come back to it for another ten minutes an hour later. Then I'd get a tiny bit of time after work, and then a little more around eleven or midnight and so on. Sure, there are lots of times when I'll play for an hour or three, but there's planning or committing to those kinds of time blocks is impossible.
So I can't see how I could join a crew if I can't ever even marginally commit to being online at a certain time, and I can't see how I could join a random/spontaneous crew if partway through the mission I would have to stop playing.
Or am I overreading the focus on crews and multiplayer participation --- that I can play a little here and a little there on my own and not bother anyone (or be bothered by anyone) and have as much fun as I did with single player (or even almost as much fun)?
