EDIT: I'm temporarily banned so I can't respond to any of the comments, but I took the time to read them, and after doing so I've begun to question everything, my faith, family, and how I go about things, and now I feel quite terrible for all that I've done. I really shouldn't have done what I did, and feel there's a hell of a lot that I have to do to make everything up to my son. I don't expect him to ever forgive me, or even talk to me once he leaves, and I deserve it because what I did was wrong.
EDIT 2: Couple of words
I am a Catholic and have tried to raise my kids in the faith. But my 16 year old son told me a few years back that he was an atheist and would not be attending church.
I told him that was fine and I would still love him anyways, but because we are a catholic family that goes to church and believes in God, that every Sunday he doesn't attend, I'd disable his internet access for the day and he was to read a book called The Case for Christ (because Lee... keep reading on reddit ➡
It is disgusting. If Will had cheated on Jada the entire internet would turn on him and crucify him. Except because he is a man he is the one being mocked and memed.
Firstly, we don't have a reason to be involved in their relationship, and if they choose to make it work then good on them.
However, that doesn't mean Jada should be proud of her actions. She abused the trust of a great man. I'm kinda surprised the internet isn't backing Will on this to be honest.
I found out here on Reddit that my username that I’ve used 15+ years all over the internet was connected to Nazis because of the 1488. They banned me on r/AskReddit for it.
I posted about it on here and changed my name to r/NazisStoleMyBirthday
r/AskReddit unbanned me.
This post blew up and got really popular. It got me a 3 day suspension from Reddit for circumventing my ban on r/AskReddit
This morning I found out that somehow this post got changed to contain a ton of really inappropriate racial and homophobic slurs along with threats of violence. This was not me. I have no idea how that happened.
Some of you won’t believe this and I understand that. I would be skeptical myself if I were you. For what it’s worth, I would never say things that, much less think them. My intention was to simply share my story and it blew up way more than I thought it would. Some misguided soul thought it would be good to change the post and mess the whole thing up. I take responsibility for what happ... keep reading on reddit ➡
Everywhere on the internet, especially reddit i see people assuming these things about people and it bugs the crap out of me. I see people saying things like "you wouldn't know because you're probably X", like, how the fuck would you know???
EDIT: I sincerely apologise if this isn't an opinion, i thought it was and so i posted it.
I see Donald Trumps name at least 8 times a day. On BBC news, Reddit and any other app I open. I would love to forget about his existence for just one day.
I've tried posting 2 post's in this sub both of them removed one for "obe sity" and the other for "fem inism" both were spreading the word with problems that today's society has but they have been removed just because people would feel insulted?? Now you can't say anything on the internet without getting cancelled straight away or without getting hated on.
Technology has progressed so fast and it’s been an awesome ride. From dialup on the family compaq to broadband to wireless. From my first gameboy to my pS4. From my first Nokia and Walkman to my iPhone. From messaging friends in high school on MSN to MySpace to the spread of facebook. I’m also thankful I wasn’t older, my heart aches when my parents need my help opening Microsoft word. But I’m thankful my formative years were left untouched and wholesome.
As a British guy, I shouldn't have to know everything about the US or have to introduce myself as "The British guy" every time I talk to someone online. I also don't want to be treated like some mystical being from lands afar just because I speak a little differently.
The internet (unless you are playing a game where you can pick the server location) is a worldwide thing, that isn't based in one location. It can be used by anybody. Most people on the internet aren't even from the US.
And my biggest pet peeve through all this has to be when Americans say "the world" but really just mean "the US". The world is all countries, not just all the states.
EDIT: In light of this post blowing up, please remember that you are on r/unpopularopinion. Yes, my opinion is controversial, and you may not agree with this. This does not, however, give you the right to harass me in my DMs. If you do this, I have no choice but to report and block you. Sorry not sorry. Also, if you feel it doesn't fit thi... keep reading on reddit ➡
Original post here
Many people have been asking me to write an update about my last post.
So that day my dad didn’t came home until 2 days later. My older sister and I told our parents that we needed to talk. Jane was in her room so that helped a bit. It was just the four of us (at first).
Since I took pictures of everything she did (all her selfies with our stolen things, I even took a picture of the note she wrote), I showed them all those pictures while I was telling them about the things I found on her phone.
My dad got angry and took her phone, tablet and then he went through her phone first. Since it caught her by surprise, my dad found more things she couldn’t delete.
Apparently she also has another IG account. She has been talking to more than 10 boutiques there, asking them what can she buy from... keep reading on reddit ➡
She made her own bed, she should lay in it . Really that simple. She was 18, knew what she was getting into, knew what she was signing up for , signed the damn contracts. And now has a huge instagram page of which she still benefits monetarily from because of her history in the porn industry . She has to face the consequences of her actions.
It's really hard to have normal conversations. A lot of them turn creepy (even with people my age)
I can't even post a selfie or share my opinion about something NSFW without getting random dms.
I know that a lot of guys think it can be nice to get complements but a lot of them are from really weird accounts. And when I get compliments from them it makes me feel gross and slutty. I won't even be wearing something seductive and I feel like shit.
I can't even mention my gender in the comments of a post without worrying about getting dms. It's so fucking ridiculous.
Edit: thank you so much for all your support, nice comments, and awards. They mean the world. (Also can y'all please stop sending dms I have over 130, I know you mean well but it's going to be hard to look through all of them, if you want to say something i am looking through all the comments)
(I am so sorry if I haven't responded to your dm, it's not letting me respond new chats. I'm really glad most of them were nice... keep reading on reddit ➡
Scenario example: Someone goes on a disgustingly racist rant and people start filming. It goes viral but has multiple Disney songs playing in the background that are audible and coherent throughout the video. It goes insanely viral because of the context but will Disney take down these videos 100% of the time? From any source? How many would get through and last?

Do you need a hug? Some unconditional love? Somebody to be proud of you? (For the college students, career or finance advice?)
My daughter is at daycare now so I've got plenty of loving, non-judgemental parent energy to spread around and it seems like maybe it's needed here.
What's on your mind sweetheart and how can I make it better?
(edit: i'm going to do my best to respond to everybody - literally just attached a keyboard to my phone so i can go faster)
(edit 2: so much love for all of you. We just picked up little Rory from daycare so I'll be offline for a few hours. I'll still try to respond to everybody when she goes to bed)
(edit 3: i spent the last hour trying to reply to more people. I think I've read all of the posts. I hear all of you, you're valid and I love you. I'm very sorry to those of you who I couldn't respond to personally; between work and being an irl parent i ran out of time. I'll leave a final comment here:
Parents are just people. They make mist... keep reading on reddit ➡
Now I have stable wifi.
Works with those fake in-game currency "generators" that make you take surveys too.
I supposed I’ll start this off with the obvious, yes your young child shouldn’t be able to find porn easily and on sites like instagram and youtube, however this push to be family friendly is hurting so many people. I mean basically youtubers who make any sort of content that’s not rated G are losing their income and have now had to switch to sponsorships or sites like Patreon. I’m sick of everything having to be child friendly. Maybe parents should stop sitting their kid in front of an iPad for 3 hours unsupervised. Not everyone needs to be a good role model not everything needs to be child friendly. Adults should be able to have their own spaces that don’t need to be constantly censored by the need to be family friendly. Adults should not have to be berated or have to move their content elsewhere just because people with children don’t want their kids to stumble upon it.
