I don't buy into drug propaganda, I went to school in America and was taught of DARE and how smoking one joint of cannabis will ruin your life and lead to harder drugs. Many people in my class eventually grew up and saw how that was clearly false (though it can cause psychosis).
The thing is however, there are genuinely drugs that one shouldn't mess around with. I'd say unless prescribed by a doctor Things like opiates, benzos, amphetamines, etc... can cause serious problems.
I know many family members/friends with all sorts of addictions. Food addiction, gambling addiction, porn and drug addictions. I can say without hesitation that those with drug addictions have gone through the most devastation in their lifes from it.
I'm not minimizing the effect of something like gambling or porn addiction but why does it seem so uncommon for it to lead to people losing their houses, going to jail, robbing. The slippery slope with drug use seems to be much bigger than with any other addiction
> The condo association — allegedly without authority to do so — used the key fob deactivation as a way to force the husband and wife to stay in their condo for two weeks, then told the couple that the HOA would call the police to “request that you be removed from the building and or arrested” if they attempted to exit the high-end building.
Even if he was ‘owned’ or ‘company property’ isn’t that a violation of human rights regardless?
And probably any other ability that phases out the hero that I'm missing. Nyx just queue Spiked Carapace for his next action while disabled and when he come back he doesn't take any damage, doesn't disable Blink Dagger, and returns the damage to the caster.
I didn't find a similar behavior with other abilities I tested included:
In all the cases, the Hero takes damage before they casts their abilities upon returning from Astral/Tornado/Cyclone.
What the fuck is happening to this country. Its slowly turning into a little China/North Korea. You_Know -Who-s are acting like they are gods and above normal citizens.
Putin's forces are cracking down on peaceful protest, but they maybe losing their grip. Viral tiktok anti Putin vids are spreading. Like in Belarus the action of the people via peaceful protest are difficult to stop. We have to hope for proper democracy for the people of Russia, and an end to corruption. Maybe this time our Western leaders can do it right and support the Russian people rather than seeing this as an opportunity to make money. We have to hold them to account over this. We can't let this opportunity for us and Russia slip away again.
Imagine a Menshevik style government running Russia actually delivering for ordinary Russian people, cutting down on corrupt business and badly run government, increasing standards of living and providing even better public services. This is the future Russia and the rest of Europe were denied in 1917 and again after 1989. No more Czars, no more autocrats, no more palaces, no more war, no more corruption. If Russia demobilizes then the US and everyone else will eventually scale back military in Europe despite the demands of the military complex. Bring Russia into NATO where it belongs. We could be looking at a whole new era of peace and prosperity.
