Veteran hodlers might recognize this scam, but I think it's important for new users to be aware of the tactics used in phishing (especially since I saw it happen the other day on another subreddit).
Never trust hyperlinks from random individuals, especially on social media.
Below is an example. It seems like I am directing you to the official websites via the hyperlinks, but in reality, I could redirect you to any website. Here, all four hyperlinks will just redirect you to Google (https://www.google.com), but they could very well direct you to fake websites like "dae***e***dalus.io" or "ada***a***lite.io".
The more experienced guys might recognize this scam, but it's very important to alert the new users about this (even more because I saw it happening on another subreddit).
Never trust hyperlinks from random people on internet. Hyperlinks might catch you if you're not alert to these scams.
Here is an example: It looks like I am redirecting you to the official website through the hyper links, but actually, I could redirect you to any website, even fakes ones and you might not even realize it.
Here, all the hyperlinks are gonna redirect you to this subreddit (www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency), but they could redirect you to fake websites.
What can be even scarier is when they use the real link at first and then a month later they edit the comment or post to use a fake one. Seen it on other crypto forums, so always check the website address and double / triple check the spellings.
They tortured and beat up a Uighur for supporting the CCP (and they claim they support Uighurs)!
Why would people support the Hong Kong rioters? (I will add more if I have time!)
I have a spreadsheet of about 180,000 URLs I need to validate. About half the URLs are proxied. I used =Hyperlink(A2) to change from text to link. I'm using Excel 2010. Does anyone have suggestions on how to now check the list for broken links without having to individually click on each URL?
Got my hyper link activation email today. Revived activation code via snap 19 days ago.
Once activated my hyper wallet I see my available balance is at 0$ :(
UPDATE: it apparently takes a week to come through
For the PUA site on mobile -- have tried both iOS and Android -- I can't seem to find a way to open documents through the provided hyperlinks for our Inbox of Correspondences and Issues and determinations. Have tried the spectrum of browsers. Have no problem on desktop operating systems when I get the chance to use, but only have mobile for the moment.
I now have several pending issues and correspondences for which I can't access the actual document or any version of the specific item's text or details, making it hard to know how or when to respond
For the inbox for eligibility-related documents, all each entry contains is the general topic, such as "PUA" or "Monetary Determination", with the "Issue Identification Number" hyperlinked but leading only to a generic screen. The Correspondences page has the same problem, with each entry containing only the general topic and the "Document ID" hyperlinked to lead to the same kind of general form.
However, in my experience documents sent to the general "Inbox", such as the recent overpayment waiver amd I think a couple before, do not have this problem and allow access to the full detailed text of the actual paper document, with text boxes provided for each response and a clear due date provided.
Is there something I'm missing? It just doesn't make sense to me that they would not provide mobile compatibility for these important documents, and it would be great to find out that I've just somehow missed a section where such detail is provided on mobile, or at least some roundabout way to access it if not direct on those pages.
Any feedback or tips appreciated -- thanks!
I opted for an e-receipt for a US postal service delivery with tracking. The email arrived with a hyperlink to check the status.
If I click the link, it takes me to https://mail.tutanota.com/tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction!input.action?tLabels=010101obfuscated-tracking-01010101
The real link should be: https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction!input.action?tLabels=010101obfuscated-tracking-01010101
I'm coming to the end of formatting an nonfiction young readers book in Kindle Create. I've seen some formats on Amazon where they can use hyperlinks to connect images and words in the index. Does anyone know how this can be done?
In my effort to enjoy the parts of neopets I was too oblivious to enjoy when younger, I've set out to revamp my neosig and wanted to link to my gallery.
Does anyone know how to do this without actually showing the link URL in my neosignature, just the hyperlinked text?
I just realised today that there's a way to use hyperlinks while in writing mode by pressing and holding on the tab/button/link and then clicking "open link." I've been able to use this so that I don't need to keep going into reading mode.
Did all of you already know this? Is this something that's always been there and I've just now discovered?
I am writing Swift 5, iOS14.4 and trying to open a PDF from in-app browser (WKWebView).
If I open the PDF in Safari as external browser, it works smoothly.
However when I use WKWebView oepn it in in-app browser, it doesn't response, nothing happens.
I try to prefix the pdf url with "docs.google.com/viewer?url=" the url in PDF becomes clickable again, but when I click it, it shows me a blank page instead of the destination.
Hello guys, is any way in Excel Web to disable auto creating hyperlinks after I write every single email?
I know how to do it manually, but I'm looking to keep it disable in an entire document.
Hi, I am using Microsoft PowerPoint Online and there seems to be no option to add hyperlink, after select the text→insert→there's no hyperlink, just link. I want to add hyperlink to the existing slide inside presentation, but there's no such opportunity, just https links.
It is hard to get updates on the changeover from Hangouts, so I'm hoping that someone knows the answer to this.
Is there a way to have a hyperlink create a new Google Chat with a particular person? On Hangouts, you could use https://hangouts.google.com/?action=chat&pi=[insert Google PersonID here] to start a hangout room with the person whose ID you inserted there. This still works, and creates a new room in Chat.
However, with Hangouts rapidly depreciating, I woudl like to know if there's an updated https://chat.google.com/[startnewchat] link that will work.

I am using the hyperlink function in Excel to link one cell in a sheet to another cell in a sheet called Status.
The friendly name is in the same workbook in column A, referenced in the function. So far the hyperlink works, but when I drag the formula down the link location remains the same, i.e. links back to the same cell as the one entered in the function the first time, Status!A5. What I want is for the cell to link to the next cell below the first cell in the Status worksheet as I drag the formula down. How can this be done?
So I can see the URL without glancing down to the status bar every time, it just appears next to the mouse cursor?
I’ve seen other authors do it. At the end of a chapter they add a link that can direct people to their tumblr page. I tried to do it for my fic too but in the Note section, there isn’t an option to add hyperlink. I tried on both computer and phone.
Angels of this subreddit, help 😘🤗
