Looks like there is going to be a lot of Electic/ Hydrogen vehicle stimulus to go around.
I've been an investor in Plug Power for over a year now and have obviously benefitted greatly from the dramatic increase in price but I am riding this train all the way through 2021 and beyond.
PLUG has had three major catalysts in the last month alone - a 1.5B partnership to expand the "hydrogen economy" into South Korea and other Asian Markets, a partnership with French automaker Renault to develop Fuel Cell powered vans & provide the infrastructure to support that initiative, & a newly announced Giga factory that is being built in Rochester, NY and will be operational mid-2021.
All of these catalysts on top of a business meeting that is taking place at 10AM EST on 1/26 which I anticipate will announce a bump in their 2024 financial projections in addition to hyping up these announcements will only take this stock even further.
AND let's not forget that soon to be president Joseph R. Biden Jr. is a believe in clean energy & more specifically hydrogen. When he reveals his Build Back Better Plan in February you can darn well expect another bump in Plug Power. (Reminder Chuck Schumer, D-NY senator is close with Andy Marsh the CEO of Plug Power, is a believer in Hydrogen, and will make sure that Plug Power's mission gets pushed through legislation in any future clean energy plans)
Here is Biden's stance on clean energy https://joebiden.com/clean-energy/ . You can find Hydrogen mentioned 5 times in this webpage alone.
Get it while its under $70. Once we get through these next two months - I can't see it going anywhere but up.
Bloom Energy (BE) will be as big as TSLA in 5 years.
Bloom Energy is a fuel cell company that is transitioning to hydrogen fuel cells in 2021 and have commercial hydrogen fuel cell in 2021. It's Total Addressable Market is 300B.
Hydrogen will be bigger than Lithium-Ion batteries. It hasn't thus far because of the cost to produce hydrogen. But with the Biden administration and EU planning to invest heavily invest in solar and wind, the input cost to hydrogen electrolysis should decline enough to make hydrogen as cheap as natural gas . This is why hydrogen is such a huge growth play now. The economics are only now just about to tip it into be the most economical form of electricity .
The advantage of green hydrogen is that is completely green but as a couple of huge market advantage:
Note: blue hydrogen is made from natural gas. grey hydrogen is made from fossil fuel. green hydrogen is made from wind/solar/hydrodam/nuclear
The EU already moving to a green hydrogen economy . Bloom recently hired a GE to expand into the EU for 2021
So comparatively, we have a company with technology comparable to PLUG.
BE made 800M in annual sales for 2020 (natural gas fuel cells). They plan to address the hydrogen market by 2022. Like PLUG, they plan to have 1GW of capacity 2025.
Lastly, their board is comprise of government insiders and the former CEO of GE . So they are well position to gain more regulation in favor of hydrogen and knowledge on how to expand internationally.
You are buying BE for when hydrogen will be the main fuel source starting in 2025 onward. It will overtake Lithium Ion by 2035. Buying into hydrogen now is like buying into TSLA when it introduce its first lithium ion battery. And we are only here because of the deep investments in solar and wind to reduce the cost to produce green hydrogen.

The sun is literally on fire 100% of the time, fusing hydrogen to helium, helium to carbon,etc.. How does it not burn up all at once? Or, how does the sun not fuse all of the hydrogens and heliums etc. all within a relatively short time frame? If you filled a room with a gas like propane and lit a match, the room would explode and most of the propane would be burned up right then and there. How does this not happen with the sun?
It made me wet.
