The really disappointing part is the crazy headlines are coming from reputable sources. Mark Schlareth tweeted “the packers and Broncos are as close to a done deal as you can get.” In regards to a trade with Rodgers. Next thing I see is Ian Rapoport saying, “packers haven’t talked to ANY teams about a potential trade.”
Couple days later Rob Demovsky says that he thinks there’s less than a 5% chance Aaron Rodgers plays a down for the packers in 2021. This is while Gutey, Murphy, and Lafleur say they are committed to Rodgers.
Now it’s “Rodgers won’t play in GB unless Gutenkurst is fired” with no credible sources.
I have no idea who’s right or wrong but it’s maddening trying to sift through all the BS.
EDIT: To be fair I think Mike Tirico’s statement was good.
EDIT 2: Go Pack Go
During a bullrun like this I think it’s important to take a step back and think about where we have come in the last few months. If you told me a year ago a 10% price drop would result in a price of 52 thousand dollars I would have said you were crazy. What a rollercoaster this year has been.
