They’re usually less than $10 each, they’re hot and ready to eat, and it’s healthier than fast food. Not to mention you’ll have leftovers for tomorrow. This with instant mashed potatoes and raw vegetables (specifically carrots for me) is what made me able to consistently eat healthy with almost zero planning/time consumption. If you don’t like raw veggies you can also try having the steam in a bag frozen veggies on hand for easy meal making. I struggle with meal making so if anyone has any additional tips for easy meals I’d love to hear them!
This is what I ordered on Instacart. I tried it once before and enjoyed it. This is the product photo on Instacart.
Ate it tonight. Within a couple hours I was vomiting like the girl from the Exorcist movie. It was the only thing I ate today that was not something I regularly eat. I dug the package out of the trash.
Looked the same to me. Then I flipped it over and read the ingredients. It was like a scene from a horror movie.
Wrapped in wheat flour, with barley flour thrown in too. Even the sauce has wheat in it. What have I done?
I was sure I had this before. It didn’t make me sick then. And I was certain it was gluten free. I went back to the Instacart website and brought up the product again. Yes, the photos show it gluten free (as in the first photo, it has the yellow GF ribbon in the upper right hand corner). I looked at the photo of the ingredients on Instacart.
Yes, it says it’s gluten free. I thought I was getting a gluten free product. I’m very careful about checking what I eat. Any time I buy something at the store, I always check the label. But with all this online shopping, I checked when I ordered it, but then I trusted I was getting the same product. My mistake. A painful lesson.
I wanted to warn others, so that you can avoid the intestinal distress that I will endure for the next several days. Don't make the same mistake I did.
Always check the ingredients of the product that is in your hand that you are going to eat. If you're ordering your groceries online, do not trust any online photos - they may be outdated. :(
I searched what is Xiaomi because I haven't heard it before food wise. The results were the phones branded as Xiaomi. Does anybody know what she meant?
Edit:Solved, it's Foxtail Millet. Thanks for the help I've heard Foxtail millet before in Dr.Stone Anime
I am often overwhelmed when I go- and end up leaving with just a pork belly and some rice. Help me make a list?
I’ve asked several things on this thread and I’ve gotten lots of help! I officially moved in today. I’ve got to stretch my dollar until my first paycheck so Whats the better grocer? I see several I have never heard of
Does anyone have an Asian grocer they like that offers thai flavors (peppers, kaffir lime, etc)? I'm in south austin but distance doesn't matter if the shop is amazing.
I am selling my Green Grocer 10185. It is ~98% complete, please see the pictures. What you see is what you are receiving. No box or instructions. There are some missing pieces and missing minifigs. There is color damage from the sun over time on some pieces, but it was built only once and put on display. I am the only person to have ever owned this set. If you are interested in flipping or restoring retired lego, this is the set for you!
Please do not buy this expecting 100% of the pieces or for all of the pieces to be in great condition. This will be disassembled and organized into plastic bags and shipped with care.
Non-exhaustive list of some of the missing pieces:
Imperfections: (PLEASE SEE PICTURES)
I was hoping to get $500 for this, but I am not sure what I should price it considering the imperfections and missing pieces. Let me know what you think would be fair!
Looking for some local small-businesses to support with my grocery purchases during the pandemic.
What independent grocers in the Vancouver/Richmond might you recommend?
This is my list so far:
She pretty much shouted 'You lost weight!' and was beaming like she was genuinely so proud and thrilled for me. Felt really nice.
Yesterday a lady came in asking if she could buy 2 bags of pickles. Immediately start explaining that I don't believe we can offer that service and that I personally haven't been trained on that, my co-worker (been in subway for 2 years) also had no idea what she was talking about. So I got in contact with our manager whilst my co-worker was investigating this Subway Grocery app with the customer. A couple of other customers later and some texts back and forth between the manager. The lady and my co-worker just decided to have her submit an order and see if it got to our system. Low and behold it got through and we gave her the two bags of pickles. Though..I think the strange order fried our credit card device since it hasn't been working after that. I'm curious if this is a thing at other subways because I've literally just learnt about this now and my manager didn't seem to know what was going on either.
