You know, for us solo guardians out there...
I’ve been running Zophia with angled grip and 2x, however I’ve been questioning if it’s really worth the recoil trade off. It’s so much easier to aim with vertical
I’m currently low bronze with the goal of getting to gold for a trophy.
Edit: I’m on ps5 btw
Edit. 2 Swapped compensator for flash hider and 2x for holo. Kept angled. Feel good about it now. Thanks for the help everyone
I just love wasting my weekend on flawless only to have Bungie fuck me with This kind of loot . This isn't Call of Duty.
Edit: Yes, HFG is an okay perk, but it should be a mod not a hard perk
Fuck bungie: "Has no effect on Sniper Rifles" Per June 2020
> Hipfire Grip > >*1.2x aim assist falloff.
>*+15 aim assist.
>*+1.7 degrees precision hip fire angle threshold.
>1. By default, when hip-firing a weapon the center of your reticle must be over a target in order to get a crit, otherwise aim assist will give you a body shot. This change gives you a little leniency, so if the center of your reticle is not directly over a target you will still get the crit if you’re within this angle.
>2. Has no effect on Sniper Rifles.
27, engaged, getting married in October, and seeking advice on how to get my finances moving in a positive direction. We just bought a house, both have salaries, and I just don’t know where to start with saving, investing, etc. Whether it be pay off credit card debt as fast as possible or chisel away at the debt while saving cash? Or how to pay off debt, while saving cash, and still investing all at the same time?
It’s all just daunting because of all of the different advice I get. I also happen to be professional procrastinator and wanting to turn it around. Thanks in advance for the advice.
I respectfully question the statement that the melee energy aspect of the exotic was unintended, but even if it was a holdover from when it was different, also making it onto the promo material, why revert it?
Necrotic grips are potent, dont get me wrong, but they are extremely one note. They do one thing, ad clear. If I want to use it to its fullest potential, I ought to use Thorn as well. But if all it does is ad clear on a delayed damage over time, why not just use something like trinity ghoul instead? One exotic slot, great ad clear, no waiting on damage ticks.
The melee energy was what was going to give Necrotic its own identity, a reason to buildcraft around it, and a way to get your melees on warlocks without relying on monte carlo. Its a real shame, please go through with the original design description of the exotic bungie, even if it was unintended or never implimented. Please dont let this be another oathkeepers. Warlocks would love you forever
Someone had previously posted something similar on this, but I can't find the post. I tried multiple searches. That person showed a video using Salvation's Grip to get a perfect score on the tire game on the moon. However, he said he could not replicate it, and others could not either. Well I did it! I saw someone playing the tire game, and went over and shot my salvation's grip on his game. Even though he wasn't getting the tires in the middle, I noticed at the end that it said near perfect score. So I thought I'd play myself and try a few things to see if I could do what I saw in the previous video. It was not tied to a specific game instance because I did go to orbit, and come back.
My strategy was to push the tires off in front, the direction they should be going. As soon as I pushed them, I would shoot the salvation's grip shot. Do it after every tire. You need to be able to reload and spam the shot to be able to do this. Hit the middle each time, and at the end it should tell you that you got the perfect score. It took me a few tries to get this. Sometimes it would only say I got a near perfect score (timing must have been slightly off). You'll see in my video that the tires actually go in to the craters that are not in the center, but it still gives a perfect score.
EDIT 1 - Someone found the post. Thank you u/Slow916Motion for showing this. Hopefully others can replicate now too.
EDIT 2 - It's not easy to replicate consistently, but people are doing it. It may have something to do with the timing of the tire being pushed off and the shot. Here's a great video from u/rpck using the buddy system to have one person push the tire and time it with the 2nd person shooting Salvation's Grip.
EDIT 3 - I was just able to do this again, but instead I used Anarchy. Video here.
EDIT 4 - WOW! Gilded! Thank you!!! This has been so much fun to see people unlock it. Earlier today, I went to the moon to run some more experimentation, and saw a fireteam of 3 doing it. They got it pretty quick, maybe 3 tries. I joined their party, and we had a quick celebration. I... keep reading on reddit ➡
