This is is probably a really dumb question but I can't find an answer online.
So I have looked through for past threads but none gave me an answer. My parents never ate beef and so I never saw them cook beef. I bought ground beef for the first time and while cooking it discovered what grease was and saw it solidify which led me to do some more research to avoid any damage to the drain.
While doing this research I saw "bacon grease" come up a lot and cooking with grease. I recently bought turkey bacon and cooked it this morning with olive oil on the stove. I noticed the pan was pretty slimy (for lack of a better word) and took a while to clean.
I just want to know, do I need to worry about grease and messing up the drain/pipes when cooking turkey bacon? When do I need to worry about it?
Did not expect this much feedback. There's a good Reddit community here
I recently overclocked my 4770k with cryorig h7 and the stock thermal paste. At 4.5Ghz I had 100c so I decided to buy the kryonaut before i buy a new cooler. Now I have 88c running prime95. I had even reapplied the cryorig thermal paste in case it wasn't spread correctly, same temps.
So if you are "lucky" like me maybe the problem is the paste and not the cooler :)

Why YSK: If candle wax reaches its flash point (appx 400F) and catches fire, blowing on it will create a larger flame and spread droplets of flaming molten wax everywhere. Pouring water on the candle will create an explosive ball of flame that can reach up to 6ft in height, spreading the fire further and burning the person attempting to extinguish the flames. The best solution is to cover the candle with a pot to deprive it of oxygen until it is extinguished.
Trashbasket Kody has such an obvious disdain for his first three wives and clearly sees them as an annoying burden. He is easier on Janelle because she agrees with the one house plan and has never expected anything of him. Christine dares to want to be treated half as good as Robyn, has the audacity to think her husband should put in effort, be affectionate and act like he still wants to be around her. Kody just wants her to shut up and stop whining. We all know the history with Meri, and she can definitely be exhausting, but the previews were actually pretty heartbreaking. He refused affection, sex is clearly off the table, and I'd bet Robyn pressures him not to sleep with the other wives. Not that he wants to but probably doesn't mind to keep them quiet. I don't buy his sudden, "sex is only for when you're in love" bullshit as he and Janelle never claimed to be in love like that and have had plenty of sex.
Robyn said at the dinner that "just because Kody has a problem with a wife doesn't mean I do" which is the kind of statement a married couple might make to outsiders but not to other women who supposedly are on the same level with him. It reinforces her and Kody are a unit, a pair, and much more solid and joined than he and any other wife when, in theory, they are all supposed to be equal.
He talks about how polygamy isn't fair to his wives as an excuse for why he now seems to regret it, and really sounds like he wants out, but when he just had three women he knew it wasn't fair to them in terms of not having enough attention and still selfishly pursued Robyn (when Christine was pregnant) to satisfy himself and his own need for MORE attention. I think he believes that Robyn is his soul mate and only wants a life with her. I think he'll continue to treat the others like trash hoping they will finally get fed up and leave him so he doesn't look like the "bad guy". He will then play victim to the kids and the world while secretly being thrilled that he finally gets to be monogamous with Robyn.
If it weren't for Meri making bank from her mlm, and the money they get from the show all because they're polygamists, I think he would have bounced a LONG time ago.
I do because I find the grease to be disgusting & far too oily.
Some people find it weird that I do this, but I find it completely acceptable as I’m not a fan of eating tablespoons of oil.
Ok so I’m hoping someone has a great hack for this. Today I was making chili with ground beef, of course there’s a ton a of grease in pot. Cue the-remove beef, find jar, turn hot pot upside down, place back on stove, return beef, cleanup mess you just made.
Does anyone do this any different/better?
