The Grand Duchy of Lithuania is known as a 'Grand Duchy' and for much of the middle ages was no more than that. Weirdly this 20th century Swiss map calls Lithuania an empre starting 1345. Is there any evidence to back this up?

I am referencing this map. GDL in the 14th-15th century is shown on the bottom right corner. Was GDL really considered an empire? Is there any evidence to back this up?
