- Press briefings will be on Thursday from now on (exception of next week, which is Wednesday for Thanksgiving)
- Good news: Moderna and Pfizer vaccines are 95% effective (data released Monday/Tuesday), RI will pilot Pfizer vaccine distribution - "there truly is light at the end of the tunnel"
- Until the vaccine is available (hopefully some availability by the end of the year, anticipating widespread availability by Spring), we must double down on following restrictions so as to not overwhelm hospitals

I may not agree with her viewpoints, but to be fair I also don't care what any actor thinks about world events. Gina is A) Badass B) Making Cara Dune one of my favorite new Star Wars characters C) now an established part of SW Canon, and D) a strong woman promoting positivity for a body type not commonly seen in media.
I see no benefit to having her removed just because the woke mob doesn't like some of her politics. She wasn't cast for her politics. That's not how entertainment works.
Since there are "petitions" and "demands" to have her removed, and I keep seeing news stories popping up with "Mandalorian fans demand Disney fire Gina Carano" in some form as the title, I'm wondering anyone has seen a good way to let Disney know that these obnoxious Twitter babies don't speak for all of us. I believe the true fandom cares more about getting quality content than having actors who align with their political beliefs.

I’m sure this has been in effect for about a month or so now, but today’s show confirmed it for me. As Ace goes into his T-giving story of his wife in kids in FL and he at Dr. Drew’s, a typical response from one of them would have been, “wait, what? why if you were just in FL didn’t you stay and spend the holiday together?“. But oh no, Ace just kept plowing through the story as of course this all seems “perfectly normal, perfectly healthy.” Then Adam a few minutes later says he calls Natalia who is now back in L.A. but not at home and out with her friends and she doesn‘t want to talk to him, again neither Bald nor Gina ask any follow up questions along the lines of “wait so now Natalia’s back from FL but it seemed like you were surprised about this?“.
This is has got to be Maxipada having to tell them on Adam’s behalf (because as everyone knows he’s not a fan of confrontation) basically to not ask ANY questions about Adam’s home life. And obviously this makes sense because most likely Geragos has advised Adam anything said on the podcast could be evidence in a court setting, either way it just seems like this “nothing to see here folks” stance might be drawing more attention to it, a la Lance Bass.
While im a registered lefty, I like to describe myself as a centrist. Regardless i think the petitions to fire the actress from the Mandalorian is garbage and is one of the dumber things about cancel-culture. Gina Carano is a fine actress who takes on her role flawlessly. She's an ex-rebel who is not a 'joiner' and her real-life personality is also reflecting that. yea she said a lot of crazy stuff about the election, CoVid and the LBGT pronoun usage, but she is NOT running for political office on these platforms, she is merely an entertainer. Unlike Roseanne, there are no political symbolisms are stances that she takes within episodes or her lines of dialogue and she doesn't go out of her way to make statements on the show. There were 70M people who voted for the orange cheeto this past election, and you're not going to discriminate against all of them for not living by the same beliefs or lifestyle that you do, so why would you ban from from being on television? Firing her in itself would cripple the gravy train that the mandalorian is riding on and would show that disney cares more about being PC than of the quality of its content.
TL; DR: the chick from mandalorian should not be fired from a great show just because her views are trash.

Thank you to the people of RI - Thanksgiving was difficult, businesses are struggling.
Early data suggests that people followed the rules over Thanksgiving (enforcement unit did not need to shut down large gatherings)
- 99% of restaurants and bars (700 inspections) last week were observing new restrictions
- 96% businesses had proper distancing
- 55% received perfect score for inspections, another 32% received "near perfect"
- Decline in travel: last Thanksgiving - 5% less traffic than week before; this year - 10% less than last week
- Mobility data is important - we have seen increased mobility followed by a case increase in recent months
At this point - she is unsure if she will lift the pause after two weeks. Would like to "slowly dial the economy back up" after next weekend

- Two field hospitals are open
- 7 patients in Cranston
- 21 patients in Providence (40-50 more coming within the next few days)
- Our field hospitals are "top-notch" - but they are only as good as their staffing
- If our field hospitals fill up, we will not have sufficient staffing for them (900 beds)
- Our health care workers are exhausted. Please follow the rules, "they deserve our support"
- RIDOH began to issue temporary licenses to retired/visiting healthcare professionals again this week. Please apply if you are able (I know we're desperate, but I don't think having retired nurses caring for such a dangerous disease is a good idea with their age) - calling on ALL health care workers.

I've been a housewives fan since the franchise started. It takes alot for me dislike a housewife, but Gina.. There's just that something about how she carries on when she's confronting someone, I find her to be particularly vicious and very full of herself in recent episodes. Don't get me started on Mrs Leventhal, not even gonna go there, but I know my opinion on Gina is widely unpopular. Why has she had this intense dislike of Braunwyn from the get go? Still trying to figure that out. Anyways, I just wanted to hear others opinions on the current season of RHOC and which cast member makes your eye twitch, feel free to include housewives from other cities 😬😅
