Team Razer here! We hope everyone is enjoying the sights and sounds of Night City this holiday season as much as we are. Since it’s the season of giving, we figured what better way to show it than with a little giveaway, Night City-style.
Up for grabs is our Razer X Cyberpunk 2077 licensed gear, which includes a Viper Ultimate gaming mouse, Gigantus (Size L) mouse mat, and Arctech Pro phone case. To enter, simply show us the best photo you’ve taken in Cyberpunk 2077’s photo mode. Photos must be direct from the game, no editing from any outside software allowed.
One winner will be selected by the mods from both r/Cyberpunkgame and r/NightCityFashion on January 4th PST. Get snapping, chooms.
From Gibson's website.
[GEAR] I just picked up an Epiphone ES-335 pro and it really does stand up to my higher-end Gibson and PRS guitars. The alnico classic pros are excellent. I've compared these to the original Tim Shaw humbuckers in my '87 Gibson Les Paul and much to my surprise there is VERY little difference! The alnico classics are every bit as articulate, punchy, warm, and full sounding as the Shaws. Finally, an Epi I don't need to swap the pickups out on.
It's a far cry from Epiphones from the 90s and 00s and imho the newer guitars even out shine the Korean stuff everyone always raves about. I've owned several Korean Epiphones which were great, but I just feel like these are better quality all around. Fit and finish, frets, setup, and tone are awesome on these. I doubt I will ever be able to justify dropping $3000+ for a made in Memphis Gibson ES-335, not to mention I'd feel safer gigging the Epiphone which would easily be replaced for under $500.
I brought the Epi and my US made PRS custom 24 to practice and I didn't even pick up the PRS. My bandmates actually commented on my tone "dude, your guitar sounds HUGE today!". I also have a Squier classic vibe 50s tele and 70s tele deluxe, Chinese made Fender modern player jazzmaster, along with a mexican players hss strat (every bit as good as any US standard strat circa 2008-2016) and they ALL stand out as great playing and sounding guitars that I likely will never sell. And that's the problem! The cheaper guitars are just SO GOOD now that I can't justify buying the high end stuff. Nor would I ever feel safe bringing a $3000+ guitar to a dive bar gig. Sorry for the rant, but I just can't say enough good things about.
People are really complaining saying that they don’t have enough time to burn all the high-end gear that they’ve been saving or that they can’t adequately spend their +50million roubles they’ve been hoarding.
These are the same people running around with a 5-7 and scav bag despite being level 30 with millions in the bank.
Let’s just call it what it is. You have gear fear and are upset that you have less than 24hours of risk-free gameplay.
I’ve got a few more that I’ve used that aren’t pictured, but I have a hard time using them since they look so nice. I really enjoy the tone these give on my acoustic compared to my normal picks. https://i.imgur.com/ruxMXei.jpg

I want to unlock Kul'Tirans, currently on the Shrine of the Storm quest but the instance leader said "Give me all your loot or you'll be meeting queue times"
I thought it was a joke and the tank laughed, so we went along with it. I got a belt from the first boss that was a direct upgrade, the instance leader warned me I had 20 seconds to send a trade offer, I told him no way, he sent me one, I declined it, immediately booted out of the group.
Am I just not allowed to get upgraded gear from dungeons? This was the first time I went to dungeon with a completely random group instead of my friends so I'm confused if this is just douchebagery or an actual player rule.
A lot of people forget that Reddit is still a form of social media and that seeing all the pics of $6000 linea minis paired with $2000 ceados, is the same as how Instagram/FB has caused an increase in depression rates.
It’s ok to want to upgrade to a nicer machine that can do a bit more but sometimes, it’s good to just put on some blinders, and focus on the craft rather than lusting after the next big machine buy and related hit of dopamines.
Grind, dose, yield, repeat.
Edit: wow. This really blew up. Great to see that this message resonates with so many people. It’s good to pull your head up once in a while and take stock and appreciate what you have. So many amazing comments and stories of peeps doing their own thing. Appreciate the love y’all. Happy holidays.
2nd edit: I guess topic really hit a chord with everyone. This post is now the 2nd most popular post ever in the history of r/espresso.
Humor me with your best answer to this silly question. Affordable is subjective but I am thinking less than $100 at most.
For me it was buying a warm pair of running tights. I had always suffered in the cold during winter runs and now I actually enjoy them!
Update: I put together a list of top recommendations. If anyone feels like putting together a google sheet, send it to me and I'll include it in this post.
And SORRY folks - It would appear that those looking for affordability can now spend over $1,000 on gear thanks to the many items in this thread. : P
Today i received my very first guitar It's a Harley Benton SC 400. I can't wait to get started
Now i just need to get over the "i want to cut off my fingers phase"
