So I was binging the show on Netflix the other day, and it was so cringey to watch how Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi and "Saharasri" Subrata Roy flaunt their love for their country all the while stealing poor people's money without shame, before leaving the country for good by paying off our leaders. Patriotism is such a useful tool for scoundrels. No wonder our PM and his gang of nationalists are doubling-down on it.

Goddamn gamers. I love video games, but any time I spend more than five minutes in a games-related subreddit, I remember just how obnoxious gamers can be.

So, Gamestop posted a mean review about Cyberpunk 2077. The reviewer was apparently quoted as saying she didn't give a shit about side quests and skipped a bunch of stuff. It kinda sounds like the game wasn't her cup of tea, or maybe she'd committed to not liking it after the crunch conversation started. I don't know. I don't really care. It really doesn't matter. She's one person with an opinion. I guess you could say writing for gamestop means she has influence, but she's not hurting Cyberpunk. Reviews generally don't have much of an impact on how blockbusters releases do. Most consumers don't really need reviewers to tell them what they want to consume.

Of course, none of this matters to the cyberpunk hype train who seem committed to putting this reviewer in her place. Plenty of male reviewers are also saying mean things and likely skipping over a a majority of the game to make deadline, but this Gamestop reviewer is the villain they've chosen. I'm not linking to it directly, but if you head over the cyberpunkgame sub, and look for the heavily gilded "in depth critique" you'll see what I'm talking about. It's all recycled gamergate bullshit. A bunch of children insisting it's about journalistic integrity while trying to prove this woman isn't really a gamer. She's just pretending because games are so cool and sexy, I guess.

There’s been a span of post reporting due to this since the rules do say non bake off stuff isn’t allowed but I’ll be amending that rule from now on to allow no bake off stuff during non busy times (ie January to August)

My relationship with food is terrible, I keep overeating, weekend binges are the new regular and I am miserable.

But in all seriousness I had followed a diet conjured by a doctor and while it made losing weight very easy I don't think I developed any good habits nor have I made permanent lifestyle changes and so here I am, a struggling mess. It's been a difficult few months and it's almost like I need to start over 😪 (in these few months of maintenance I went back to losing a few kilos because it seemed I was gaining but I am currently back to ¿?¿---kinda---?¿? maintaining ). I'm stressed.

Any advice from successful maintainers?

When I wear them, my lips get dry and weird and I get the nasty stuff that builds up in the corners of your lips. Ick.

I have a lot of unopened ones that I can sell at least but damn... wish I would've noticed this sooner. Robert Welsh talked about this in a video. He was saying that liquid lipsticks are so not needed.

What makeup have you realized you don't like?
