Hey! Thanks for reading this! I’m so excited about my progress in baby step two but don’t have any family or friends who really understand my level of happiness and excitement. I had 93,000 dollars in student loans from undergrad and grad school. I’ve been paying down my loan for the last 19 months and I’m down to $39,000. Hoping to have the rest paid off by this time next year. To all those on baby step two as well, keep chugging along, we’ve got this!
Title kind of says it all. If anyone is looking for more “income” start in your own home! I went full Marie Kondo on my apartment and sold a lot of stuff that I don’t use or had multiples of. A lot of these things were name brand items that re-sell easily.
Some examples include:
I have about 16k left on a 0% car loan that I’m chipping away at. I bought it new in Dec 2018 which I regret. This 1.5k finally got me right side up. My goal is to pay off by next December. 👍🏼 No other debts and then it’s off to saving.
I'm shopping for a secondary gaming laptop that can run Linux and considering getting a 15" Gazelle. I don't need something ultra-portable, but I'd like something that can be comfortably carried around in a backpack, and probably wouldn't take it anywhere without the charger. That means that the combined weight of the laptop and power brick matters more to me than the weight of just the laptop.
I've gotten gaming laptops in the past that had massive, heavy power bricks, and get the impression that some of System 76's gaming laptops like the Oryx pro have those too. Is that also true of the Gazelle? Or does it have a smaller, lighter power brick?
Who else thinks that Madame gazelle is a vampire any theory s or thoughts?
Here is a really interesting documentary about an operation in Mali where 2 pilots of a Gazelle helicopter and their onboard sniper crashed and have been rescued in an heroic way by a Tiger helicopter in combat zone.
The documentary contain full story + interviews of the Gazelle Team was well as the Tiger pilots. It's in French but I guess auto CC on YouTube will work pretty well.
Short extract of the drone footage showing rescue
Full story, sorry for bad English and probably some missing details, not an expert :
- 13 june 2019 in north Mali. 10 pm.
- We are in a zone with high presence of terrorist groups.
- A drone operator detected a group of probably armed men hiding in bushed in a suspect way, no camp fire, no movement, no camp.
- A group of commando is deployed in th
I just can’t get them down and go fast enough 😂
You want to be a Apex Predator??? Like a real predator?? Ever seen a predator running through the middle while all other animals notice them? Or being really loud while is time to be quiet??? God damn NO.
They listen, they spot the victim, and they attack when the victim doesn't expect it.
I've been playing this game for 3 weeks and I already know this. LET GO OF THEM DAMN W FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.
Is there anyway to install coreboot on the Gazelle with a 1660ti?
Jesus. How did I miss this in 2008!?? Oddly enough as I was half way through “Jets” I knew I had heard this song before... where I’m not sure... But the rest of the record is new to me. At any rate, aside from Inlet, this is what I’ve been listening to on repeat. Antidote and Phasedown are my favorite tracks. I love how it’s a spiritual successor to the first 3 National Skyline releases but yet its own thing, too.
Problem solving card text says anything before ":" only needed for activation.
I played against a guy with cubics and summoned Geira Guile the Cubic King with it's own effect for game (800 burn)
And he wanted to destroy it saying "It's the same as Gazelle, it needs to be on the field to resolve."
I looked up the rules and based on what I've found I don't think either of those NEEDS to be on the field to resolve. Being summoned is only required for activation, not resolve.
Am I missing something?
The past two years has been the most difficult period of my life. Many big life changes were thrown at me. At one point I could feel myself withdrawing, so I went out of my way to be more socially active in books clubs, etc.
I was approached by two different predatory men within the span of a few weeks. They turned out to be very manipulative, and I ignored my intuition on several occasions. I didn't have sex with them though.
Fuck those men for targeting me. I was in a very vulnerable state, and I was just trying to be more socially engaged because I could FEEL my happiness slipping.
If you are in a vulnerable state then try to STAY AWAY from men you don't already know and trust.
As it says in the title, I'm looking to buy my first eBike and am trying to make a decision on the above 3 bikes. Of course, I could be swayed for others but my requirements are:
I like the Gazelle T10+ because it's in stock at a local dealer, and it ticks the boxes above with the latest Bosch speed motor.
I like the Turbo Vado 5.0 due to the lifetime frame warranty, the better torque, and so on, but with a Brose motor, it's more difficult to service here in town, and the local eBike store isn't a Specialized dealer (The Specialized dealer in town isn't well versed in eBikes, either).
The Bulls Twenty8 I would have to order online for delivery to the local eBike store. It looks like they only have the step-thru in stock, but I can live... keep reading on reddit ➡
I was already paying down debt when I found Dave Ramsey a couple years ago. However, he inspired me to pay off my student loans. I've been on this journey for about two years now and have paid off $31k in student loans along with $30k in credit card debt. I will have my last credit card paid off in the next two months. However, I'll have a car loan (last of my debt) with a balance of $26k at an 3.9% APR. I want to pay it off in full since I'm still in gazelle mode and I know that Dave would want me to pay it off ASAP. However, I'm 31 years old and don't have any money in retirement. I feel like I should max out a Roth IRA and save up for a down payment for a house for the next 4-5 years and my car loan will be paid off by the time I'm ready to buy a house. My car payment is $472.72. I'm not sure if I should continue to be gazelle intense and pay off my car loan during the pandemic or if I should invest in retirement while saving up for a down payment of 20% in California whi... keep reading on reddit ➡
Gazelle or Joon first. Of course 90% will choose Gazelle but I need some advices on my case.
I’ve just got Gazelle and Joon (no costume) at the same time. They’re also my first and only two Yellow 5*. I will get the 6th dart after this Valor. I was suggested maxing Gazelle first and I think most players will also do that. I prefer Gazelle, too. However:
Therefore, in your opinions, should I ascend Gazelle or Joon first?
Little bit of backstory: the summer of 2018 I somehow stumbled across this video and was instantly hooked. I wanted to skate like that and look as fancy and graceful as those guys did. I wanted to look like I was dancing that well and have fun doing it. So later that summer I bought a cheap pair from Target (these, except adjustable from size 10 to 11.5) to at least get started learning on, thinking I could spring for a fancy pair later once I'd gotten the basics down if I decided to stick with it.
I was able to go out a handful of times between August and November, but because I didn't have a car or a license at the time, I had to rely on my boyfriend to take me. We chose a spot on my college campus and with his help (moral support and helping my wobbly ass balance) I quickly figured out how to go forward and how to turn slightly. The... keep reading on reddit ➡
My new Gazelle has arrived last week and I'm loving it. Now, coming from MacBooks who had hard cases, it will be an adjustment for me to protect it with a sleeve bag. I was looking for a sleeve that I would literally use as a mat while I'm using the laptop, but would like also to be able to store a mouse and the charger when on the go. Does anyone have recommendations? I'm afraid the generic ones I see on Amazon won't hold comfortably both the laptop and the accessories I mentioned. Thank you.
I’ve recently started researching ebikes and am pretty set on getting one. I’ve been reading through this subreddit quite a bit and I’ve learned a lot, but I’m still on the fence as to which ebike would fit my needs the best.
A bit of background on me: I currently live in NYC and am looking to get an ebike for commuting and recreation. I’m still working from home for the foreseeable future due to COVID-19, so the bike would most likely be recreational for now. I would love to use it to run the occasional errand, but I’m worried about locking an expensive bike in an open area, so I’m not sure how often I would use it for this purpose. I’ve done a bit of research and know that I want a bike that can be serviced by a local bike shop. I’m new to the bike world and am not equipped to do a lot of handiwork on my own (though I would love to learn some things). I am still unsure on whether I want a Class 1 or a Class 3 bike. On one hand, having the ability to go over 20mph is appealing, but I... keep reading on reddit ➡
Hey guys, I’ve paid off over $7k in the last 6 months and have about 10k to go, all consumer debt. The first 7 I was on fire, but now I’m kinda losing that intensity.
Any advise how to power through or a good pick me up?
