It doesn't have too big of an effect on me, but honestly as someone who holds no animosity towards a group of people for gender, sex, race, etc, I find these months just very petty and pointless. At a certain point, we need more than 12 groups of people to highlight and now we're just picking different groups of people.

Black/Women's history is part of American history, not separate. The more we try to divide ourselves into more and more groups, the less united we become. We do not right the wrongs of the past by presently OVERLY highlighting the people slighted in the past. We treat them with equality. And until there's no Jewish history month, I won't give two shits about any other group or people's month because it just makes my group of people feel left out.

No one acts differently during these times towards any group of people. There are just more school assemblies and more ads from amazon saying 'we care'. This type of fake activism blurrs the line between good and evil and takes advantage of real activists actions and accomplishments.

It reminds me of the parade day episode of Futurama where Dr. Farnsworth talks about a 'dark time' when they had a parade to celebrate something every day. Now they just put it into one day called 'parade day'. If every month/day is a holiday or supposed to represent something, then their all just meaningless.

The party (2 people) ran into a hostage situation where some bandits were holding a family hostage to sell into slavery. Gets down to the last bandit and he does the classic thing in movies where he uses the mom as a human shield while holding a knife to her throat. He starts shouting demands but the fighter in the party doesnt care. He takes a longbow and trys to hit the bandit. He rolled very poorly and ended up killing the mom in full view of her kids. Combat starts up again and they killed the bandit easy. End of combat ask them what they want to do and the wizard just says "can't have witnesses". Fighter agrees and the party kills the children.

This is the first campaign ever for these players and so I wanna make sure they have a good time, but good god that was fucked up. Whats crazy is this came out of nowhere too. They are good aligned and so far have actually done a lot going around helping the people of the town. I really need a suitable way to show them some consequences for this. Everything I think of either completely derails the campaign or doesnt feel like a punishment. Any advice would be appreciated.

This is an extension of my DD series on GME. I have been investing in, learning about, and following GME since September 2020, and in that time I have learned many things. It is also likely my last post on GME for a while as I find myself repeating key points, and others are doing excellent DD on GME in the meantime.

In this post, I’ll share as much understanding as I can about how we got here, about shorts, and my thoughts on the future of GME. I’ll also try to include many tips around trading/investing with GME going forward.

TL;DR: The squeeze has been reset. Shorts have re-set their short positions at much higher sell points, and longs have likely cycled through. I don’t believe a VW-style squeeze is possible because Robinhood will just get choked again, but I do believe $GME is worth much more than $50/share. Fuck “diamond handing”, I’m starting to accumulate shares again. I share below how I’m trading GME.

I don't know where else to post this, but I unfortunately stumbled upon a page where parents were venting about how much they hate their pets now that they have children, and I'm fucking seething 😡

One person said that animals suck once you understand the JoY oF cHiLdReN, lol. Others vented that their dogs are always "in the way" and that these terrible dogs have the audacity to bark and demand any attention from their owners. Others shared that they "had to" rehome their dogs and cats because they became too annoying once once baby arrived. Basically, these fucking breeders are neglecting their pets, and then complaining that their neglected pets have needs and want love. I'm legitimately sick to my stomach thinking about these innocent animals stuck in these shitty households, being treated like they're a burden just for existing.

Then I read the most vile statement I've ever seen: one of these assholes admitted that they can't wait for their dogs to die because they hate them. WTF? My jaw dropped, I couldn't believe anyone would publicly share such a dark, cruel thought.

My theory? Breeders only enjoy loving and caring for things that resemble them. I don't know if it's narcissism, or if they are so sleep-deprived and brain dead from breeding that they don't even realize how awful it is to hate the innocent animals that they chose to bring into their lives.

They don't mind that their children get in the way, demand attention, and cry all the damn time because at least the kid looks like them. But when their pets get in the way, demand attention, and have basic needs, they express hatred for them and look forward to their death.
