I am 31M, was diagnosed with IBS-D 2 years ago, and I take 80 mg otilonium bromide daily, plus some probiotics, multivitamin, calcium and L-Glutamine (to improve my digestion).

I was relatively symptom free up until 1 month ago, when I suddenly started to have watery diarrhea (10+ daily). I took some charcoal tables, but it just helped the symptom, did not help with the illness. Doctor started me on rifaximin/xifaxan and I started to have formed stools within 2 days of starting rifaximin. I finished the course almost 4 weeks ago, in general I am doing relatively good, but I am still not my old self, so it seems to me that my digestion is still lacking.

If anyone knows the following, I would be glad if you could shed some light on it:

- In general how long does it take after a problem like this for the gut to completely recover? I heard 2-3 weeks before, and also read that full recovery can take years?

- It is summer where I live and the stool test did not showed bacteria in my stool. What could have been my problem then? (covid test was negative, and beside the diarrhea and some lower abdominal tenderness I did not have any other symptoms) Is it possible that due to the charcoal they were not able to identify the bacteria in my stool?

I viewed the episodes IV-VI somewhat keen-eyed, using the Harmy's 'despecialized' versions from the original source. As I recall, the series features three visited planets with their Earth-like ecosystems biospheres (?):

Tatooine (desert)
Hoth (snow)
Endor (forest)

I believe that there is absolutely no alien plant-life in any of the films. Tatooine and Hoth are barren, Endor looks like a northern Californian forest, with heavy undergrowth. The bog-planet Dagobah is the only outdoor location I believe could have a significant amount of man-made props, but I could imagine the area shown in the movie being located somewhere in the outskirts of Florida or wherever. This only leaves a visually seemingly typical meteor Millennium Falcon briefly lands on and all locations are covered, unless I forgot anything.

All spaceship interiors are obviously out of the scope of this discussion. It seems believable — perhaps even self-evident - that George Lucas wasn't able to reach his vision of Star Wars under the budgetary constraints of practical filmmaking. The prequel trilogy has grander alien vistas.

Flora's daughter and grandchildren recently moved in with her, but due to the massive hoard, the entire family must eat, sleep and live in a single bedroom; Dr. David Tolin and professional organizer Dorothy Breininger.

You guys, these episodes with kids are always either the best or the worst. It's so great when the team is able to give the kids a safe place to live & play, and sometimes it really seems like the whole family is committed to maintaining the changes, and it's wonderful to see. But man, seeing kids living in filth, or the professionals having to call in CPS, or the ones that you know won't follow through with anything is the worst. Kids & pets, y'all. They're the ones that really get me in the feels.

Throughout the games, Flora kept getting left behind and at one point was even DITCHED by Layton.

After that panic attack I was soooooo devastated. I couldn’t even watch tv without literally feeling sick to my stomach and having to sleep for an hour.

I’ve been on anti-depressants for three years, plus therapy for three years and at no point was I resilient enough to work again.

Only recently I started thinking that that moldy weed, and the antibiotics that I had taken a week earlier could have messed up my gut flora completely.

I remember that one anti-depressant suddenly stopped working a few months ago. Now in retrospect I figured, I had taken antibiotics a few weeks prior.

I also don’t feel “depressed” like nothing matters and i don’t want to do anything; quite the contrary, I want to do so much and fulfill my dreams, my body/mind is just not playing along and i feel sick to my stomach when I try to work on something that requires focus.

So my conclusion is that I need to rebuild my gut flora. I recently started taking one probiotic and it helps. I also started taking L-Glutamine. Is there anything I could take that’s more powerful?

I also eat very healthy,… no wheat, no milk or dairy products and no sodas, I only drink water.

I don't know if this is common knowledge, but I just realized that the unique flora and fauna of Morrowind is probably caused by Lorkhan's heart. His blood which was scattered throughout Morrowind probably created weird creatures. I don't know, but it makes sense.

I greatly enjoyed Carole and Tuesday, as it felt like a breath of fresh air in the current or semi-current monotony of Japanese animation, and media in general. This is not a thread to glorify or denounce the series, or anime in general, merely an effort to pose a hypothesis that I formed and developed over the course of watching the series.

This hypothesis is regarding two characters, one somewhat minor (although a fellow Redditor has posited that this one is modeled after Whitney Houston) and the other more of a major supporting character. Respectively, Flora and Angela.

I will get somewhat in-depth, and using references to the story/plot with reckless abandon, so if you have not watched the entire series, please do not spoil it for yourself. Also, I apologize for the wordswordswords.

That being said, allow me to continue:

I believe that Flora is Angela's actual mother. I was convinced of it prior to the revelation during the plot's conclusion where Angela (and Tau) is(/are) revealed to have been the result(s) of genetic experimentation. Why I am still convinced of this is due to the fact that Flora gained interplanetary fame and would have fit the time frame to have donated eggs towards the supposed program in question that resulted in Tau and Angela's existence.

Flora, as some Redditor(s) has/have potentially enlightened us about, seems to be modeled after Whitney Houston. The character was not only celebrated by both planets, but she had an extremely severe fall from grace. Debt, drugs, alcohol binges, probably even rampant sexual encounters. Bought my bungalow 1.5 years ago and it feels like I’ve since been in a losing battle against literally everything trying to live in and around my house. Paper wasps squeezing out from the attic, hornets nesting in the siding, carpenter bees munching on the deck. Cave crickets, roaches, SHREWS creeping around the crawl space. Ants anywhere and everywhere. Birds nesting in the hanging plants. The neighborhood armadillo poking holes in the lawn. I even found mosquito larvae in a crack in a concrete walkway once. Not to mention the English ivy, privet, and creeping Charlie plaguing every corner of the yard. I already have one “tenet” that doesn’t pay rent or do any chores - a chonky blue heeler that I can occasionally get to sleep in her own bed. She’s cute, but about as much as I can handle.

As a first time homeowner, I got tons of advice about appliance care, maintenance, water mitigation, home efficiency, etc. Why don’t they warn you about the pests?

Yep, another one of these shark reworks. This one is a combination of some older reworks, newer ones, and my ideas. This won't be too hard for Fede to implement and shark would be pretty balanced. Let's get into it!

My rework will make the Great White Shark have 2 types of boosts, charged and normal.

The charged boost.

Shark's new charged boost won't have any delay, but if you hit the shark from any side other than its' mouth, it will stop. The charged boost will have a 600 ms charge time and deal 270 damage. Also, it will have a short acceleration time, around 0.5 seconds so it won't be as good for escaping. The boost will still accelerate to 225 speed, and it will still do 270 damage at any acceleration speed. This will make the charged boost good for attacking, but not good for escaping other animals.

The normal boost.

This is meant to be the shark's boost for escaping, just a generic normal boost. Click and lunge forward.
