Petition for Chef Ted The Onion P-Flax to run the cooking stream this year

Tri-force listeners might remember a time when P-flax boasted about his skills in chopping onions and how he did cooking with the school, going under the name Chef Ted. Now idk about you guys, but with the Jingle Jam in the planning and Lewis running it this year, I would like to see P-flax more invovled rather than just being the angry poker expert. The last few episodes of Tri-force have also revealed that the planning for this year's jam isn't finalized and therefore I am petitioning for Pyrion Chef Ted the Onion Flax to run the cooking stream.

Thank you for coming to my P-flax talk

Flax vs. Brick for beginner knitter

Hi everyone! My mom told me for Christmas she wants me to put together a β€œcurated knitting kit” for her, where she can knit a simple beginner sweater (β€œno intricate patterns” is what she said). My mind immediately went to Flax, since the pattern is specifically written for beginners to get a hold on sweater construction, made from worsted weight so easier to see stitches, and honestly that kind of simple sweater is quite her style.

However, I have been reading some criticisms of Flax, mostly that it is unflattering (especially the neckline) and I can see how it might turn out unflattering on her. Both of us are kind of curvy and she would want a full length sweater. Looking at the pictures I would never knit Flax for myself as a full length since I think it would be unflattering on my hips, and she has bigger hips than me (though tbf, I would never knit a full length sweater that wasn’t super oversized for myself since I think that cropped sweaters are MUCH more flattering on me and

Has anybody baked with "flax eggs" before? If so, does it require refrigeration?

I recently stumbled upon flax egg which works very well with a lot of baked goods. I'm curious, do I need to put the baked good in the fridge afterwards? I currently mix them with rolled oats and bake them in the oven for a granola effect.

Recipes with flax seed

Hey everyone. I bought some flax seed recently since I know it's good for you. I used it in the past but can't really remember what I used it in since it was years ago now. I bought a bag of ground seeds for $2 but the only downside is that it's a 2 lb bag so there's a lot to use up. Since there wasn't a smaller bag I got it anyway since it was cheap. I know I can just sprinkle it on/in oatmeal or add to smoothies as well as the 'flax egg' but otherwise I'm at a loss. Any recipes that use it, especially if it uses a decent amount would be great.
