I'm one of those people who constantly find themself up at 5am watching some men build a swimming pool out of dirt. I used to try and fix my sleeping schedule by going to bed early the next day but obviously I couldn't sleep because I had slept late previous morning. It then took me several days and potentially and all-nighter to fix my sleeping pattern.
Recently, I've discovered that the best way to recover from this is by setting an alarm for the morning. Yes you may be a bit tired during the day, but it means you will fall asleep earlier that night and hey presto you are back to being awake in the day time.
Edit - thank you for the awards! I didnt expect my first big post to be about sleep deprivation but I guess it does make sense.
When asked about the costs of patching the game on consoles Michal Nowakowski, member of the board for publishing, said, "The cost of patching the game is irrelevant [compared] to what we have at stake/spent at this moment, so there is no question about it. We definitely want to fix the game, we made our promise to gamers, and we will be doing everything to stick to it[...]"
Adam Kiciński, CD Projekt Red co-CEO, began talking about only showing the game on certain platforms before launch, saying that this caused the loss of gamers' trust and the reputation that they've been building through a big part of our lives. He said, "That’s why our first steps are solely focused on regaining those two things. We are concentrated on fixing Cyberpunk on last-gen consoles."
Kiciński also reiterated from a previous statement that was released yesterday regarding the current state of console versions, saying, "The first substantial set of fixes was released over the weekend. The next set of fixes will be released within the next 7 days. Big updates are planned for January and February, together with smaller fixes. Of course, PC gamers will also be getting regular updates and fixes. We'll do everything possible to prove that we stick to our values. We truly hope that our efforts will let us rebuild the trust we have lost."

For anyone who doesn't know, in League there's a difference between on-hit and on-attack effects. On-hit effects are (mostly) just damage, and things like Wit's End, Kog W, Vayne bolts, Sheen procs, and Ashe slow are on-hit effects. On-attack effects are things that happen when you complete a basic attack windup, and generally include "fancier" effects. Things like Runaan's Bolts, Pix, and Kayle's damage waves are on-attack effects. A number of spells that apply on-hit effects also apply on-attack effects, like Ezreal's Q and Yasuo/Yone Q.
Now, with the exception of Kraken Slayer, everything behaves consistently. This does lead to some results most people wouldn't expect, but reading about on-hit/on-attack effects can explain the results. For example, Ezreal can shoot Runaan's bolts with his Q (even though they are still limited by his basic attack range).
And then along comes Kraken Slayer. It makes, legitimately, no fucking sense.
It doesn't interact at all with Guinsoo's or Runaan's. Okay, fair enough. Maybe it's an on-attack effect? On-attack effects don't interact with those items.
But, as everyone surely knows by now, Katarina applies Kraken Slayer way too fast. For anyone who doesn't know how the interaction works, for each enemy hit by each tick of her ult or by her passive daggers, she gets a Kraken Slayer stack. That means if she hits 3 people at once with her ult, the first two people give her stacks and the third person consumes the stacks to deal true damage. This means that each tick of her ult can potentially do Kraken Slayer's true damage, and it ticks like a billion times a second for a grand total of three billion true damage. The most infuriating thing, however, is that her ult/daggers do not apply on-attack effects. They only apply on-hit effects, so the Kraken Slayer interaction means that stacks are being generated on-hit. This is also true for other melee champs. I tested it on things like Pantheon and Irelia; Irelia's Q gives her a stack, and Panth's triple attack will give him three stacks (dealing the true damage). Again, though, these abilities don't apply on-attack effects, only on-hit effects.
The wiki says that Kraken Slayer applies on-hit for attacks without projectiles, and on-attack for attacks with projectiles. This could explain it, as Kat/Panth/Irelia are all melee and don't use projectiles. IMO, it would be a really bizarre and unintuitive explanation, but at least it would be an expla... keep reading on reddit ➡
And Betrayal is the tip of the iceberg. This game had too many core systems as of Legion. Now Harvest is back and Heist is core, and the Atlas has become even more complicated than it was previously.
At what point is enough enough? At what point do we get to just play the game instead of constantly having to redo chores from previous leagues to just get back to being able to do what we were able to do before?
So many good suggestions in this thread, GGG. /u/Bex_GGG and /u/Community_Team regularly post on Reddit about how they're going to give feedback to the team... not even a drop-in to say "hey, thanks, we'll pass this along".
The US has an unemployment problem secondary to COVID (I'm sure many other countries as well). Rather than just giving people free money, why aren't we hiring anybody who wants a job to fix the aging infrastructure of our nation? Isn't this a logical solution? Start em at $15/hour, fixes the unemployment problem.
I’m not expecting SBMM to be addressed or fixed but the game has more bugs than any other game I’ve played this year.
-Camos don’t work (the kills don’t track and also the levels on the guns get deranked)
-XP doesn’t work properly
-Party issues (joining friends on same platform)
-Cross play issues
-Ping and hit detection issues
-Ranks being reset
-Camos not tracking kills
-Challenges don’t track for operator missions
-Lobbies disbanding after games (I know this is probably tied into SBMM but this sucks in a socialising side of things)
-People AFK in zombies to farm battle pass XP (this has been happening a lot recently since it’s double battle pass xp)
-Game chat not working properly
-When purchasing full version after trial version game still comes up with an error telling you to buy
-Hard crashes on consoles (both new and previous generation)
-Split screen issues
-After action report missing after games (also occasionally error message with error code)
The list goes on I’m sure. I’ve not played the game in a while as my gun camos are not tracking so thought I’d leave the game until the next update. Any other issues feel free to add below.
These are things that are not issues but need to be addressed:
-Music packs being added to the music player and not limited to vehicles (I was so disappointed about this when I found out)
-Operator missions being limited just for warzone
-Dark Aether and other camos covering minimal parts of a gun
-Weapon XP is too slow
-The menu UI, MW should not be there
-Adding flinch to snipers as well as buffing ADS time on snipers
-HARP doesn’t work properly at times (players don’t show up when using ghost/ninja)
-Lobby leaderboards (although we haven’t got this feature since WW2 I think this is tied to SBMM most likely)
-XP tokens counting real time not game time (you pop a 15 minute double xp token, 5 minutes of it is wasted finding and loading into a match)
-Scorestreak system regarding objective game modes (right now it is better to go for kills than it is to play for objective)

Every single one of the top comments is completely shitting on Dan Gilbert and the Cavs for being penny pinchers when they have covered more in wages than Kevin Love or any other player on the team has. Love covered the wages for FIVE games, around $100k. Meanwhile, Gilbert and the Cavs covered every event for part-timers that was missed in April, around $1.2 million. The Cavs also reportedly haven't fired or furloghed any staff. This was reported by the same reporter: https://twitter.com/cwmwrites/status/1343611674096496642
Are the mods going to do nothing about this? I understand that there is a lot of bad sentiment towards billionaires and owners at the moment, but we can't let that cloud our judgement. Please, do something.
Edit: It seems the mods removed the post. I hope the people who commented and gave out reddit awards learn something from this.
Legion was 2 expansions ago and it's impossible to solo most of the raids. Why is it taking so long to make it easier for level 60 characters to solo old content? In Legion I was able to easily solo MoP raids and in BFA I was able to easily solo WoD raids.
I also remember that in BFA after the first raid (Uldir) was released I was able to go and clear Antorus with a group of people. Where on the other hand, Nya'lotha is still impossible to do due to it being way to difficult and bosses one shotting people.
Why is it so different this time?
This isn't a megathread designed to stifle discussion. Well, kinda. Sorting will stay default here, don't worry. You can also still post about Zhongli outside of here, but please think a bit more before posting (the usual post quality rules still apply)
What's being asked here is:
##how you would rebalance Zhongli?
It doesn't have to be realistic, it doesn't have to be anything crazy, just throw out some ideas! (hopefully this gets some discussion going instead of a bunch of scattered threads sitting at negative votes).
Sorry about the poorly thought-out post earlier, its tone and restrictions were overboard.
The #justiceforzhongli filter was put into place because there was a serious overlap between low quality spam and that hashtag (I wonder why). It's been removed now, but I hope the quality of posts improve a bit? Maybe? Please :(
have some links to popular posts for background reading i guess:

Oh, and for the future, please DM /u/Veritasibility (top mod, has a line to mihoyo staff) with vulnerabilities first- you can still post them but don't put details about how to exploit them in a thread!! People use the info maliciously before it's patched.
I'm stepping down from mod so seeya, feel free to dm me any questions about anything. Hope I helped a bit.
People need to understand and come to grips with the fact that servers cannot be made to "cope" with n+1 players infinitely. CCP have done an AMAZING job so far getting the servers to be able to cope, semi stable, with 4/5/6k people in the same system fighting. Even more than that can join in with the right set of circumstances. However the EVE player base has a remarkable ability to, whenever CCP get the servers working with n people, bringing n+1 (or n+5000 as is the case last night).
There are no other games that I am aware of that can cope with this number of players in a single area at a single time. Planetside I believe restricts their continents to 1k, and thats the next biggest MMO type game I could think of. I think the biggest battle in WoW, the game with arguably the most money ever poured into it from one of the largest game companies in the world, can do a 50vs50.
I realise I am comparing apples to oranges here, but thats because there ARE NO OTHER APPLES LIKE EVE. Stop asking CCP to do the impossible. We might just be at a hard limit.
