Grafting finger lime cuttings to a mature naval orange tree advice please

Is this possible and if so how would I go about doing this? I will be receiving some finger lime cuttings from my aunt soon and I’ve read online that normal propagation has a low success rate because of it’s poor root system. I’ve never grafted anything before so I’m just gonna throw an idea out there and feel free to correct me if this is completely stupid: I was thinking about trying to graft the cuttings to the naval orange tree in my yard and once they become mature enough, i will take cuttings from that branch and graft them onto a rootstock that I prepare in the meantime. Basically to use the orange tree as a method of keeping the cuttings fresh while I prepare them a place. If this plan is viable, please offer up any, I mean ANY tips, and if it’s not please let me know of any alternatives. Thanks in advance

Australian Finger Lime Trees?

I am dying to get my hands on a Finger Lime tree but with the laws restricting citrus movement into Texas, I have not been able to find anywhere in-person/online to buy a tree. Does anyone know where to get one? I'd drive almost anywhere in the state at this point, haha!

Thanks!

Recipe ideas for caviar / finger limes

Came across these beauties in a shop in the uk recently which i had never ever heard of before! Like a skinny dark lime with a zesty, caviar like filling.

Seems a waste to just sub them for ordinary lemons and limes as theyre so texturally interesting and beautiful. Any ideas on some good uses would be much appreciated!

Finger lime recipes

Hi! So this is a rather weird post but I figured I’d ask since finger likes are native to Australia... just bought a box of them and I’m excited to mess with them!

Does anyone have any recipes that uses finger limes in both conventional and non-conventional dishes? I’ve seen some recipes online using them in desserts and drinks, but I was hoping to incorporate them into mains.

Cheers in advance!
