Edit - Got a PM from the faker titled; "Do you know what it feels like to log on and have half a dozen ppl calling you crazy?"
I tried to reassure him it's all good but he's distraught. Said some things that made me feel guilty and I might delete this thread if he asks me to. I guess the damage is done though. Nice job dicks who harassed him, he seems like a nice enough guy.
Said to keep it up but he wants nothing to do with TEFG anymore.
The Evil Farming Game is an old computer game that involves a farm, hiding the murder of your wife from police, and other vague creepy details.
It was first mentioned online 4 years ago in a sub for finding video games; https://www.reddit.com/r/tipofmyjoystick/comments/4h5w1w/this_game_was_kind_of_like_harvest_moon
This got some attention for some reason, and people began to hunt. People were communicating with OP, mentioning games they find which are similar to either have them confirmed or ruled out. Nobody can find it. A couple of years pass and another post is made, this time by a different person. It seems to sound like this fellow is looking for the same game!
This fueled the fire even more. People were wondering just what this "Evil Farming Game" was, why it was made, if it even exists. The gaming mystery caught some traction with a couple of popular youtubers and was featured in a couple of videos. It was around this time, a year ago that /r/ThatEvilFarmingGame begun.
A community which spent a year naming possible games, following leads, being trolled here and there with "broken laptops" and just waiting for the day "Sparta" (OP of the first post) confirms "Yes this is the game." The Subreddit grew to 10,000 people in a year and even branched off onto Discord. At some point someone decided to start a project of re-Creating this game based on the details known. The whole thing started to form it's own little cult based on the idea of this vague game.
Tons of threads, searching and speculating.
Dozens of this nature. It's all guess work from everyone, they only have a small list of games they know it's not.
After some time most users seem to reach the conclusion it doesn't exist.
AppHarvest is a publicly traded Indoor Farming based in the US. While there are several other in door farming companies like Gotham Greens and AeroFarms, APPH is the only one of the bunch that is publicly traded. Indoor farming, IMO is the future, and there currently is no dominant company like Tesla, Amazon, Apple in the AggTech Space. APPH only has a market cap of $4B. Investing in APPH will not only position you for the future, but also allow you to capitalize on the sustainability movement.
The market share of indoor farms in the total aggriculture market is very small, giving lots of room for growth. Indoor farming only produces roughly 14B of goods compared to 400b of production in US. At a market cap of 4B, I bought APPH for the growth potential and my belief that there will one day be a dominant Aggtech player and that indoor farms will take over farming in the future. In comparison, Tesla has a 750B market cap.
APPH is based in Kentucky. The founder, Jonathan Webb grew up in Kentucky and went to University of Kentucky. It makes me feel like he's in this for the long haul and wants to give back to the community there. Webb has aspirations to make Kentucky the Aggtech capital of USA. Kentucky is also a strategic location in that it has cheap land and access to rain water. https://www.kentucky.com/news/state/kentucky/article246585233.html
So why indoor farming:
Benefits Of Indoor Farming: This is pretty self explanatory but I will name a few
In a nutshell, Indoor Farming is the way of the future. With climate change, outdoor farming has become unpredictable. Much of US farming is only able to sell their goods for so cheap due to subsidies. Fresh water is also decreasing and desalination is expensive. https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20170412-is-the-world-running-out-of-fresh-water... keep reading on reddit ➡
I just miss the days when you did a Nightfall 1-3 times a week and farmed the Heroic Strike Playlist. There was so much variety in there and it made me realize I probably wouldn't despise The Palindrome droprate if I was playing a different strike each time. I understand we have to make much more of an effort to prepare for each strike but maybe you get like 2 minutes before hand to prepare when you already know what strike it is. This waiting area could even be a helicarrier above the destination like how we all thought the HELM would be.
After my first set of DD's conducted this year on OZSC, SNPW, SSFT, and ETFM, I am excited to share some diligence on $GMEV, an OTC penny stock that will be tapping into an innovative mix of industries (hydroponics, vertical farming, sustainability) for the next decade. I've decided to adopt a new format for easier reading, and I hope you will enjoy the diligence. I was particularly more excited to share because I was able to enter on this market-wide dip today.
As of 02/11/2021, here are the numbers before we dig in:
Compared to a lot of the OTC pennies trading right now with billions of outstanding shares and skyrocketing market caps, GMEV has their share structure in decent shape. The recent increase in volume and attention will allow GMEV to scale its currently undervalued market cap at a pace that is well-aligned with its price per share. #Stonks.
GME Innotainment aims to solve food production, plant growth/harvesting, and sustainability challenges through Foundation Farms and its proprietary vertical farming technology. GMEV aspires to support agriculture production at the... keep reading on reddit ➡
There are so many Facebook posts/“trends” where you’re asked the name of the street from your childhood home, your mom’s maiden name, your first pets name, etc. that seem like cute little trends to share fun facts about yourself. Is this really just so people can gather info about you to best guess your passwords? Anyone else think about this?
Ok let’s be real, we all need some lil karma to be able to post some good DD and maybe some memes on WSB. So here is my solution: drop a lil comment here, nothing too fancy, couple of 🚀 🚀 maybe some 💎 🙌 and then we all UPVOTE each other’s comment. Voilà, karma problem solved!
Edit: Don’t just comment you 🦍! Upvote!! It’s time for the lurkers to show some supports for once: GME to the 🌙 !!
Edit 2: didn’t knew I needed to mention this but obviously nothing mentioned on this post is financial advice, we are just some 🦍 looking for karma to get some 🍗 and 🍌 along the way with these 💎 🙌.
Just launched a nuke, as I had some keycards burning a hole in my pocket. Well, I landed it like always where we could easily fight SBQ without the hassle of radiation. Entire server joins and she is dead only minute and thirty seconds into her timer. We only got one mob spawn when she landed.
Know how much XP the Queen gives? 4000 XP. It's capped at that for any one enemy. Know how much XP each Scorched roughly gives with four lunchboxes, cranberry relish and inspirational? 1500 XP
It would only take killing 3 Scorched to be worth more experience than the Queen. Any other time I can understand wanting her dead fast, so you can move on to your quests and other events. It's Double XP Weekend though, and the entire fucking point is to level up by gaining XP. Stop ruining the event because you can't help but unleash the almighty power of your legacy.
Edit: Apparently this post seems to have struck a nerve in this subreddit. Never had something upvoted this much filled with so many comments that strongly disagree with it.
