More than a month ago, I posted a thread with the question, who would win in a battle, the brotherhood or the institute, with no sole survivor on either faction. But how about if the chosen one never helped the brotherhood, if the enclave were never pushed back to Washington, DC. So, who would win with no player intervention, the enclave or the brotherhood of steel?
The ability to chose how the sole survivor served could have served as a lore friendly explanation for skill presets and could have affected dialogue in meaningful ways, like as an experimental weapons reasearcher you could upgrade a factions arsenal, or as an enclave sleeper agent you could have unique interactions with the brotherhood.
Something similar could have been done with Nora such as deciding what type of law she practiced, or allowing players to pick different jobs entirely, since Nora's is almost never mentioned.
All said, I just think it's a missed opportunity that could have fixed some players qualms about the game and it's role-playing without having to change it too much. At most it would have required the occasional unique line of dialogue to be recorded, and that would still have been optional.
Our numbers are growing...
Good luck out there Operatives, hopefully we'll see reinforcements from Navarro or Raven Rock in the future.
Welcome the return of democracy, the return of the Enclave
-Operative Nova Drone
This thing has been bugging me for ages. Enclave has a history of kidnapping and capturing wastelanders with high intellectual properties. It's possible that these same scientists are the ones which you can find in raven rock and in Enclave outposts. Killing these NPC's doesnt net you any negative karma despite them being unarmed and fleeing from combat. However, when you kill unarmed alien workers, you lose karma. Makes no sense to me whatsoever.
Edit: Didn't expect this to blow up, this just became my most upvoted post.
Shielded Enclave underarmor provides +3 STR so It's end game gear for melee builds & hoarders (me) but it also drastically limits my ability to participate in Fashionout 76. Affected outfits are the Hunter's Long Coat, the Radstag Hide outfit, the Sheepsquatch Imposter outfit, the Treasure Hunter outfit, the Chally the Moo Moo outfit, maybe more. PLEASE fix!
Also PLEASE fix backpacks! The Hazmat Meat Cooler & the Keep Out backpack (probably more) are off center, I paid for those broken products so pls fix or refund. Thank you.
It's not like the Enclave knew the code, and holding the Purifier just to stop the BoS from controlling it is stupid considering that a couple of platoons could just sabotage/destroy the Purifier, and the rest flee to the mobile base crawler
i noticed that the enclave armor in fallout 3 is different to the enclave armor in fallout 1, 2 and new vegas. do they ever explain why this is?
Okay so im trying to ally with the NCR in this run through Im currently having issues with the reformation taking too long and or being impossible to preform. Trying to make it work for a couple of friends where we play along with the NCR in a multiplayer mach. (yes NCR is played by a player)
Needed unicorn horns for anti poison, this is the quickest and least annoying way i;ve found to get them. There are 10 black unicorn spawns slightly east of Freox Enclave near the ents (watch out for those if your low cb), its >20 wilderness so easy ring of dueling back to enclave. Go naked, low risk. or dont. (not recommended for hcim)
Whatever happened to <Hurricane> and <The Enclave> guilds? I havenโt seen them around since I returned from a long break. I remember seeing them everywhere back around the beginning months of classic.
Good morning fellow Freelancers!
Itโs been about 3 weeks since we launched AnthemEnclave and the overall reaction and support has been beyond anything I hoped for. For a dead game, there sure are a lot of you visiting the site every day ๐คช. Honestly, I had expected something like 10% of the traffic that we have been getting, so I really couldnโt be happier.
Since launch weโve added quite a few new builds and a few guides, but today Iโve finished up the biggest addition. Iโve revamped the fan works/community pages and cleaned everything up a lot more while adding something new
https://www.anthemenclave.com/community/anthem-world-records
We have set up a page to track the absolute best numbers that the community can put up. Ultimate damage, combo damage, melee, guns, DoT and all time trials (for each javelin). There are still a bunch of empty spots, if any of you are interested in participating just have a look at the submission rules near the top. Somebody needs to knock AB1381 off his pedestal before it becomes the โWall of AB1381โ
I hope this gives some people a reason to play a little more. I know there are tons of people out there who really want to play more Anthem but just have nothing to do and no reason to push further. We are always looking for new ways to keep the community active so if you have any ideas for similar things like this, feel free to let me know!
I think we all know what I'm talking about - There's a second delay after drinking from the refreshment pool at Ferox Enclave that often ignores any movement clicks until the delay has finished. So you'll often spend 5 seconds waiting for your player to run to the bank when he just doesn't move. I understand this is such a minor inconvenience, but as of right now the free-for-all portal is more efficient than the pool of refreshment, rendering that content practically obsolete. Let me know what you all think!
To start this off I'm an avid pker. I like to hang around lava maze or chins. I just enjoy bridding and I play on a maxed 20 def pure. I do it purely for fun and try to fight other pkers only.
So anyway, I go to the enclave. Quickly make it my new spawn and look for some fights. Couldn't find anybody there in any world but 2. Head there and find a maxed pure to fight. About 20 seconds into the fight him and 4 friends all stood on each other. I was quickly teleblocked and they took turns tagging me with specs.
The wild and PvP is a complete joke. How can you expect players to have experiences like this and want to experience it again or try to learn?
Without an increased PJ timer in the wild every update they do will do absolutely nothing. Until you can't just have a friend log in and save you then the wild will be dead.
I've been replaying F3 recently since I haven't really touched it for like over 10 years or something.
Decided to completely ignore the main quest until most of the wasteland is explored so I haven't even spoken to Moriarty about Liam Neeson or anything like that.
So you have Enclave eyebots all around the place with radio blasting on about Eden and how he's going to make capital wasteland great again, and obviously with the main plot of Enclave trying to establish control of the wasteland via the water purifier.
With all that in mind you would assume Enclave would not be outright hostile to average wastelanders. They would obviously try to get rid of us after the Jefferson Memorial incident but prior to that why in the world would they make it their priority to hunt us down? I've encountered small Enclave outpost in the wasteland before completing any main quests aside from leaving the vault and they just shot me on sight. Why???
Also, is there any in game evidence of Enclave being openly hostile towards wasteland civilians? (Other than project purity scientists that is)
Given the Brotherhood of Steel have been confirmed to be returning to Appalachia. Would it not be interesting if the Enclave also did so?
Imagine the players given an option of choosing to align with either side and actually include a PVP mechanic in which when active, Brotherhood of Steel members and Enclave members can kill eachother on sight for rewards. Kind of like the opposite of Passive mode.
Is this not what everyone imagined when it was stated Factions were added to the game?
Imagine if we put this forward to Bethesda and they -actually- listened. It would work if for any reason it would be totally optional to be "On Duty" for your faction. Whilst "On Duty" you would be invisible on the map and be given fetch quests around and about the map which would also cross paths with the opposing faction who would quite often be given the same one.
You can never leave.
The mod is great because of the variety of options and interactions but I feel there needs to be more of a straightforward guide at least until youโre set up decently in the beginning.
The trade offs between stability and political power worry me. They constantly lower each other as you need pp to increase your party popularity and stability(plus war support) to advance down the tree. Not to mention the pp to hide from the NCR Itโs maddening.
In my game, I managed to conquer new Reno and purge the scientists but then I literally got stuck because purging the scientists lowered my stability where I couldnโt purge the officers and I didnโt have enough war support because I kept the followers to get my stability over 50. Even then, I cheated a few times because I didnโt want to sit there waiting for pp to do anything. Plus thereโs the whole stupid hiding from the NCR thing that I just gave up on because I needed the pp elsewhere.
Does anyone have a legit step by step guide in setting up as the reformers and completing the purges so youโre stable enough to expand and not worry about NCR?
Edit: Update! Got through the war with the NCR. Man, what a battle! Picked the rangers to fight them since they can take less land but still provide a front. Lost a couple of units trying to hold VPs but everything worked out.
Two points:
DO NOT mess with Thloc. All it does it give you robotics research bonus but causes Santa Anna to annex him and go on a warpath. Rather they remain divided.
The bad events after the NCR war. Wow. Resistance off the charts. I actually lost units because I though I would need to area defend to prevent resistance rebellions. All it did was attrition my units. Thankfully once past a point you finally recover and it was so satisfying.
Hey guys,
Made the decision to get into tau, love the farsight Enclaves, and will be playing at 500 points primarily.
Is the start collecting box and a commander box a good place to start?
Thanks!
Enclave at their peak power including their oil rig, Raven Rock, Adam's Air Force Base, and Frank Horrigan vs the entire NCR including the Rangers. Who wins?
I get to Navarro, and they've got this whole setup, with a decoy guy at the front and landmines and armed guards, so far, pretty good security. I have no idea how to get by, because everything I heard was that you could just "sneak in" at level one. So I try taking to the guard, fail twice, he tells me he'll kill me if I show my face again, and then, just to try it, I go into sneak mode, and walk around him slowly, fully visible, in broad daylight, and they don't shoot you. Then you just have to walk slowly to where they keep the power armor, put it on, and you're good. They even let you into the commanders office if you claim to be the cleaning lady while wearing a full suit of power armor. (I mean, you still kind of have to kill them all because the commander is in the same room as the locker you're trying to lockpick, but still, terrible security.
And then you get to the oil rig, via not something small and subtle like a little sailboat, but on an enormous freaking oil tanker, and they don't even notice. The IFF says it's poseidon energy, so it must be cool, even though Poseidon energy don't exist no more, and the Enclave are just using their oil rig. That's like making your post-apocalyptic fortress out of a Walmart and then letting anyone wearing a blue vest walk in and take stuff. They don't even send someone to investigate the boat. What if it had oil that needed transferring, or supplies to unload? I mean, even Walmart employs greeters, these guys don't even have a doorman to ask what you're doing. And you can walk into the president's office. Without an appointment or anything. You don't even have to pretend to be a cleaning lady, you just walk in carrying a bozar. And the guards, they care about nothing. You can force a reactor technician to destroy the entire base, at gunpoint, 3 feet from a guard, and they don't notice. The Technician doesn't even mention it to anyone afterwards.
These people, they are bad at their jobs.
This post brought to you by Walmart.
France still owns territories in Latin America, most famously Guyana and some islands like Martinique and Guadeloupe. How do you see them in Latin America ? European or Latino ? And if Latino what about Saint-Pierre et Miquelon (another island in America but Northern America).
Many people think that the Wasteland doesn't care about pre-war America. But in all honesty, have they ever had a reason to? Their lives are filled with hard work and the constant threat of bandits. Why in the world would they care about lofty ideals like Liberty or democracy? I do think, however, that Granite completely annihilates this way of thinking. Here is a man who not only SPEAKS of lofty ideals, but who has put them into practice. If the Enclave were to use JUST the technology available in the California-Nevada region to it's fullest, it would completely change life in the region. Now imagine what secrets may lie under OTHER regions. It is true that most of the Wasteland don't consider themselves Americans, but again, Granite changes all of that. If Granite accepted all the people of the US, and restored democracy in addition to rebuilding the legal system, then more and more people would start to consider themselves Americans. And even if you tell the people of the Enclave's history, Granite could even come back out of that little slump as well. Granite could tell them of how he purged the Enclave, that all personell involved in atrocities were killed in horrible, gruesome ways. That, I think would be enough for him to reclaim any legitimacy lost.
In short, America being restored WOULD be unrealistic, if not for Granite's Enclave.
What do you all think?
Between being able to field 6 commanders and being able to Veteran Cadre 9 crisis suits, should I actually be bringing any marker light support at all? Especially when 150-200 points spent on pathfinders or marker drones could be spent on maxing out commanders?
The Enclave is sitting on an orbital platform that drops nuclear missiles, enough to crush Liberty Prime like a used beer can, and they don't use this to just blow up the Citadel? The Enclave had to have known that is where the Brotherhood is based. And while in close proximity to the purifier, the Lone Wanderer bombing it doesn't affect the Purifier one bit.
So why not bomb them? Why waste all those soldiers and Vertibirds for something they could have just done immediately?
I mean yes in fallout 2 they were consistently evil but in fallout 3 they really seem kinda flip flopped between being comically evil and in the same boat as the BOS. Now when you first look at the enclave they seem to be split between president eden who seeks to wipe out all "mutated life" and Autumn, who seems to be more "rebuild america under control of the enclave".
But the the thing is its never fleshed out, its never made into a compelling story, it seems like a setup for maybe one faction led by purists who seek to wipe out everything, and one faction led by autumn who seeks to seek a more balanced "keep the millitarism, authotrianism, and anti mutant xenophobia, but work with regular humans to rebuild", maybe the player could choose one side to support.
But it never pays off, autumn seems to be bi polar and switches between wanting to control the water chip for rallying people to the enclaves cause but next hes supporting eden, and for no reason he decides he needs to kill you. Also why does your father kill himself? I might have missed something but from all he knew the enclaves plan was to use the waterchip to rally people, i dont think he knew anything about edens plans.
Not to turn this into another "bethesda bad nv good" post but what i really liked about fallout NV was that the Legion had logic to it, and actual reasons your average wastelander would support it in some cases. They at least tried, even if the legion does horribly evil things during war and occupation, to show that legion lands were safe and mostly raider free, there was law and order there, it was the logical discussion of freedom vs security that i think is a really intresting discussion to have and could have made for an intresting reason to side with the enclave as well.
Ok but seriously why have we gotten stuff for the cultists BOS and the secret service but hardly anything for the enclave! At least give us that screaming soldier from fallout 2! I just feel like the enclave is forgotten after level 100!
Really enjoy the submod and it hasnโt gotten updated in a while
They both are related with the government but do they work together ?
Were they strong enough that without the help of the lone wanderer they would have won the war ? Is really the lone wanderer that strong to turn the tables ? Or is the lone wanderer the feather who broke the enclave's back ? Or maybe it's just liberty prime ?
I am playing at the container fort, with the Sherifโs final mission on Stand by. And right next to the fort a few meters is a big warehouse and is now the second time I get a spawn of over 10 hostile npc (the first time I counted there were 11 I think). In nightmare they prooved to be the hardest challenge to overcome. I got my leader (with excellent stats, mind you) killed in a barrage of super acurrate shots. I dropped 3 times before a shot killed me without the Last Chance animation. It is crazy. Really, really crazy. Specially when playing in nightmare is really insane to have that ammount of npc clustered in one area.
Have this happened to you?
RIP chavelle. She didnโt stood a chance. And also, her body dissapeared (so I couldnt loot her)

As in to the average civilian or NCR soldier. Would they know of them, and the NCR persecutions of its members? Of the events in Fallout 2 or 3? Would Caesar have know about the Enclave?
Iโm not sure if this post was made recently, but this was something I was wondering while playing Fallout 4. Given the secretive and exclusionary nature of both organizations, Iโve often wondered which side would win in a war with each other.
On the one hand, the Institute is mostly concentrated within the Commonwealth, while the Enclave is more dispersed across the former United States, although their numbers decreased substantially because of the protagonists we play between Fallout 1-3.
On the other hand, the Institute could use their synths to infiltrate the Enclave at the highest level to either control it or bring it down.
Iโve played the Enclave mod story for Fallout 4 and thought it would be an interesting hypothetical to add to a multi-sided war that already had the BOS, Railroad, and the Minutemen.
The possible scenarios I was thinking of was the Enclave (either before meeting the player from Fallout 1-3 or when their numbers were decimated after Fallout 1-3) vs the Institute (at their strongest point either before the events of Fallout 4 or if the Sole Survivor chose to lead the Institute after destroying the BOS and Railroad).
Which side do you think would win in a fight?
(Nightmare mode)
Always looking to spice things up, I use an โinitiationโ of sorts when I recruit new members. To be โacceptedโ, the new member must destroy a plague heart using any available gun (no .50 caliber), a melee weapon, whatever throwables present, one canister of heath pills and stamina pills. If they succeed, I fast track them to Hero status and they are welcomed as part of the community. If they donโt succeed...well...at least my community will only be sad about it for 30 minutes.
We have explored many of the dominant powers of the Green Gulch of Ghyran these past few weeks, ever so slowly edging closer to the rising star of the region, Briomdar. But before we delve into the City of Seers we will have a brief overview of two of Briomdar's former rivals; the Enclaves of Guethen and Turach. Both of these Enclaves are eminent martial cultures, but in vastly different ways.
>Guethen was the only truly walled enclave in the Gulch
>
>The region's volcanic geography made it possible, forcing the city almost entirely below ground, mushroom-cap structures of sulphurous yellow coral clinging to the inside walls of a sub-surface vent. The roof of the trench was blocked with monstrous coral growths, snarled together with poisonous blisters and acidic spines, leaving only a thousand smoking vents and the fortress tidegate itself as points of ingress. The water was unpleasantly mild and tasted rotten. The horizon was a forest of frothing mineral spumes. No beasts dwelt within a thousand leagues of Guethen, the water too hostile for anything but the magical and infinitely adaptable constitution of the aelves
^(Excerpt from 'Court of the Blind King' by David Guymer)
The city of Guethen is home to the most prolific raiders in the Green Gulch. The fierce king of the enclave, King Galrohir, has led his people on many raids against many lands, slowly amassing a military force as mighty as that of Briomdar and Turach, the two greatest enclaves of the Green Gulch. The city boasts twenty battalions of Namarti warriors, most of whom are battle-hardened and battle-scarred warriors. So it is no doubt easy to imagine that their warrior culture is echoed by the geography of the region they claim, or perhaps their warrior culture is a result of their harsh home, as it is built along a volcanic trench. No doubt many would find this region to be an inhospitable hellscape, too horrific and volatile to ever settle, but to the Aelves of Guethen it is home.
Much like Elgaen, the Enclave of Guethen has but a singular tidegate, serving as the only legitimate access point to the city. But where Elgaen's gate was a thing of beauty, carved from pearl, the tidegate of Guethen is a heavily fortified, spinal fortress that serves as the only safe causeway into the city, as all other access points are toxic and sulphuric vents that would suffocate would be invaders long before they reached the habitable sections of the city. As is t

Hi guys ! I want to know if someone try to make an French translation to Enclave Reborn. Someone have already make it or nobody? And if nobody make it , make an translate mod is hard?
I was playing fallout 3 and the dlc "Zeta" and i saw the Enclave offcer, and so i thought "huh, wait how does the Enclave think of ailen's?" So now I'm here, would the Enclave want to kill them all? And I'm not talking about the Zeta aliens, but something like a humanoid ailen species that wanted peace? Would the Enclave call them mutants and declare war on them? I'm honestly curious
Do the enclave power armors such as the Advanced power armor and hellfire power armor count as part of the X series or are they a completely different series?
I was just pondering the latest actions of the T'au Empire in the 5th Sphere of Expansion in the "current" era within 40k. I got to wondering about the FSE. Do we have any idea what they're doing? Are they pursuing any goal, or just existing?
All I can tell is that they don't seem to be engaging the T'au Empire in an active civil war, but I doubt Farsight is pleased with things.
Best as I can tell, the last thing we know the FSE did was defend itself from Hive Fleet Kraken in 997.M41. Is that all we know for now?
I've tried two playthroughs as reformist and can't get elites down enough to assassinate what's his name.
In lore it took the chosen 1 a year to destroy the oil rig in 2242, then sometime afterward the NCR or. Brotherhood attacked Navarro, hence the password. Both of his parents were enclave but they stayed behind while the rest of the enclave went East, than 4 years later they have a son, he was never an enclave member, maybe his dad said he was one, but that doesnโt make it true, he wasnโt even alive for the destruction.
The new roadmap revealed a ton of Brotherhood-themed quests for possibly the most over-hyped faction in all of Fallout. Yet in the only game in the entire Fallout series where you can join the Enclave, what do we get? More Brotherhood stuff.
(Update: I like how this post is a 50/50 upvote/downvote split. Obviously people feel strongly about this!)
